Olympic Stadium GLaDOS

By
FEATURED ON KOTAKU - [link]
NB: At no point did I say that it looks anything like GLADoS: the point I was trying to make was that this lighting rig has a design that looks menacing [to me] and like something hanging upside down by the feet, very much in the same way that the famous robot from Portal looks menacing because it is designed to look like a human being hung upside down by the feet.

--

Taken at the Olympic Stadium, Stratford, London.

You know how they say that GLADoS [from Portal] actually is designed sadistically [like a mummified human hanging upside down]?

Meet her Olympic sister. However, she only does lighting duties.

Um.. you know, unfortunately, this might not look like GLaDOS, but if you look at the actual Olympic Symbol, at the right rotation and scaling of the circles, that COULD look like GLaDOS.

Before the Olympic opening started, someone with the nickname "GLaDOS" No spelling issues, said, "Let the tests begin."
