Yang slammed her gloves and KK did the same as they both reached the center of the ring for the professional greeting. It wasn't an official match, in front of an audience, just the two of them sparring. However, the fight hadn't even started yet and they were already facing a challenge: It had become difficult to treat each other like opponents without blowing kisses or something; they were engaged, after all. "Ready to get a nice black eye, leatherhun?" The cobra asked. "You're really stingy, darling, I'll give you both black ones." The cat stuck out her tongue, and the two raised their guards, landed a simultaneous punch, a hook to the face, and retreated. The reptile immediately returned the attack with a punch to the opposite side of the face and Yang spat saliva, however the snake revealed her mouthguard after a punch to the stomach that her opponent had landed with her head still turned to the left. The same glove then sank into her solar plexus and the owner grunted but quickly responded with an uppercut. Yang was caught off guard and landed on the ropes where she dodged a jab with a quick head movement, KK let out a loud grunt when a hook struck her ribs. She placed a glove on the sore spot; the feline could attack, but she hesitated: she couldn't always hit that beautiful cobra, especially when opportunities like this arose. The hesitation cost her a jab to the face and her nose bled, KK had to summon all her professionalism for avoid to wide her eyes and apologize to the beloved. A hook struck her jaw and she had to clinch, her side was struck several times, but she landed a punch on the cat's solar plexus, and she bit down on her mouthguard to keep it. Yang retreated, still shaken by the blow, but managed to block a jab. "Wo, leatherhun, goo-" The cobra couldn't finish her sentence before a jab covered her face. "Hey! I was paying you a compliment!" The cobra, despite her red eye, laughed, but quickly regained her serious expression and anticipated Yang with a devastating hook to the temple. The cat landed on the ropes, which prevented her from falling, and shook her head, shortly afterward an uppercut to the liver knocked her down, but she took advantage of that position to strike the snake in the same spot. The latter also bent over, and their faces were a short distance apart: both blushed and looked away. "Nice red eye, darling." The cat whispered. "If you want, I'll make you one just like it, leatherhun." They were really bad at insulting each other, and they knew it. Yang was lifted by an uppercut to the stomach that made her spit a little, but as soon as she came back down, she hit the snake on the chin. KK stepped back but, with a clever move, she dodged and pushed her opponent against the gray pole. The feline raised her guard and was punched repeatedly in the stomach. KK landed a couple of punches in the stomach, but a black glove sank into her stomach shortly afterward, and she grunted, completely taken aback. Her balance faltered and she fell forward, face first into the cat's chest, which blushed. KK blushed a couple of seconds later, straightened up again, and stared at her opponent before giving her a quick kiss. They landed another simultaneous punch, spitting out saliva, Yang immediately returned to the attack with an uppercut to the stomach and a hook to the face. But she took a jab to the face, worsening her nosebleeds, the punch had stunned her, and she hugged her opponent, who stared at her. "How can you be so beautiful even with a bloody nose?" Yang was about to reply, but her opponent's glove removed the blood from her mouth before she kissed her. "And how can you be romantic even while we're fighting?" "Well, leat—" The cat kissed her,and the cobra was caught off guard, as soon as the kiss was broken, an uppercut hit the cat's stomach, and she took it, but without losing her loving smile. "Nice move, darling." Kk whispered, then took a hook that closed her already bruised eye. The two spun in an imaginary circle, and the cat took a punch to the belly button before landing a hook to her opponent's jaw. KK spat out her mouthguard, and Yang advanced... Right as the snake's glove sank into her solar plexus, she too lost her mouthguard, landing her foot on it. She fell onto her beloved, and the two landed on the canvas, redder than before. "Hey, darling" The feline whispered. "Hey, leatherhun." The reptile replied. They kissed again. "How about we end this?" "Wait." With a jerk, KK reversed their positions. "I'm higher, so I win." "Pronta a farti un bell'occhio nero?" Chiese il cobra. "Sei davvero tirchia, io te li farò entrambi neri". La gatta fece la linguaccia e le due alzarono le guardie, sferrarono un pugno simultaneo, un gancio in faccia, e arretrarono. Il rettile tornò subito all'attacco con un pugno sul lato opposto del volto e Yang sputò saliva, tuttavia il serpente mostrò il paradenti per un pugno allo stomaco che l'avversaria aveva sferrato ancora con la testa girata verso sinistra. Lo stesso guanto poi affondò sul plesso solare e la proprietaria grugnì pregandosi, ma reagì rapidamente con un montante. Yang fu colta alla sprovvista e finì sulle corde dove evitò un jab con un rapido movimento della testa, KK emise un grugnito rumoroso quando un gancio le urtò le costole. Poggiò un guanto sul punto dolente, la felina poteva attaccare ma esitò: non sempre riusciva a colpire quel bellissimo cobra, sopratutto quando capitavano occasioni del genere. L'esitazione le costò un jab in faccia e il naso sanguinò, KK dovette fare appello a tutta la sua professionalità per non sgranare gli occhi e chiedere scusa all'amata. Un gancio le urtò la mandibola e dovette chiedersi in clinch, il fianco fu colpito più volte ma affondò un pugno sul plesso solare della gatta che morse il paradenti per non perderlo. Yang arretrò ancora scossa dal colpo ma riuscì a bloccare un jab. "Wo, com-" Il cobra non riuscì a finire la frase che un jab le coprì la faccia. "Ehy! Ti stavo facendo un complimento!" Il cobra, nonostante l'occhio rosso, rise, ma recuperò presto l'espressione seria e anticipò Yang con un gancio devastante sulla tempia. La gatta finì sulle corde, cosa che le impedì di cadere, e scosse la testa, poco dopo un montante al fegato la fece piegare ma approfittò di tale posizione per colpire il serpente nello stesso punto. Anche quest'ultimo si piegò e le loro facce si trovarono a poca distanza l'una dall'altra, entrambe arrossirono e guardarono altrove. "Bell'occhio rosso". Sussurrò la gatta. "Se vuoi te ne faccio uno uguale". Erano davvero pessime a insultarsi a vicenda, e lo avevano capito. Yang fu sollevata da un montante allo stomaco che le fece perdere un filo di saliva ma, appena tornò giù, colpì il serpente sul mento. KK arretrò, ma con una mossa astuta si scansò e spinse l'avversaria contro il palo grigio, la felina alzò la guardia e la pancia fu colpita più volte. KK affondò un paio di pugni in pancia, ma un guanto nero le affondò sullo stomaco poco dopo e grugnì totalmente presa alla sprovvista. L'equilibrio vacillò e cadde in avanti con la faccia sul petto della gatta che arrossì. KK arrossì un paio di secondi dopo, tornò con la schiena eretta e fissò l'avversaria per poi darle un rapido bacio. "Ma co-" Seguito da un gancio che la fece spostare dall'angolo con una guancia gonfia. "Sei pur sempre la mia ragazza, quindi posso pestarti e baciarti". "Sul baciarmi sono d'accordo, sul pestarmi non tanto". "Allora vieni che ne discutiamo". Sferrarono un altro pugno simultaneo per poi spruzzare saliva, Yang tornò subito all'attacco con un montante allo stomaco e un gancio in faccia. Ma incassò un jab in faccia e il sanguinamento nasale peggiorò, il pugno l'aveva stordita e abbracciò l'avversaria che la fissò. "Come fai a essere così bella anche con il naso sanguinante?" Yang stava per rispondere, ma il guanto dell'avversaria le rimosse il sangue dalla bocca per poi baciarla. "E tu come fai a essere romantica anche mentre ci picchiamo?" "Beh-" La gatta la baciò e il cobra fu preso contropiede, appena il bacio fu rotto un montante colpì la pancia della gatta che lo incassò ma senza perdere quel sorriso innamorato. "Bella mossa". Sussurrò KK per poi incassare un gancio che le chiuse l'occhio già malconcio. Le due girarono su un cerchio immaginario e la gatta incassò un pugno sull'ombellico per poi sferrare un gancio sulla mandibola nemica. KK sputò il paradenti e Yang avanzò... Proprio sul guanto del serpente che le affondò sul plesso solare, anche lei perse il suo paradenti e il piede ci finì sopra. Cadde sull'amata e le due finirono sulla tela più rosse di prima. "Ciao". Sussurrò la felina. "Ciao". Rispose il rettile. Si baciarono un'altra volta. "Che ne dici se la chiudiamo qui". "Aspetta". Con uno scatto KK ribaltò le posizioni. "Sono più in alto quindi ho vinto".
