Hey beloved watchers, at the moment I'm feeling like this :squee: 'cause I finally received my new lens, a Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM. It's my first fixed focus lens and I'm very excited to give it a try. Since I'm used to shoot with my telephoto, I bet this will be a huge conversion to me, haha. But before I get to know this baby better, I decided to do some focus tests to see if it is working as it should. So that's what I'm gonna do today! Dear readers, it's time for a sign of life.Today I spent hours flipping through galleries on dA with the result of adding 15 deviations to my faves, haha. :aww: But it was so worth it! Very inspiring and balm for my soul.Anyway I suffered from the fact that my inspiration has been gone for months, but finally I've got the feeling it's coming back for blowing my mind and bringing new motivation and ideas to me. I guess that's the reason why I recently started working on a digital painting of a friend of mine. It's planned to be a nice birthday present! :) Honestly I'm not sure if I can sustain hiding it from public until the day of her birh...
