I reeeeeally like Hermione's robes- how come the guys aren't wearing robes?

actually they are wearing robes, but the pencil doesn't show it very clearly. My design for the boys' uniform is different from the girls'. I think I'm going to change the design a little though, I'm not very happy with in anymore (the boys' uniform that is, I quite like the robes of the girls). Anyway: you can see my design for the boys more clearly here.

Ohhh yeah I see. In the books you can tell that they wear real robes, not like what they wear in the movies. I've tried a lot to make decent looking robes for them to wear, but I couldn't figure it out. If I use your design in the future, would that be alright?

Also, it's so great to look at your art- I really miss the excitement of when the books first came out.

I miss that a little too to be honest; the excitement of buying the book on the first day it was in stores, and reading it straightaway (I would always spend one or two days, just reading the new HP book). I wonder whether another book will come out in the future which will make me feel the same way.

When I see a drawing like this, I actually feel giddy. I wish I had more real-life friends into Harry Potter so I could drag them to my screen and go, "Look, isn't that cooooool?!?!"
I'm guessing that's a hinkypunk in the tank...? Or...was that the grindylow...? (Am thinking now I shouldn't comment until I go re-read the book but unfortunately everyone is asleep and the closet door makes a horrid screech.)
I love the fluffy quill of Lavender's! The vials! The expressions! The boggart poster!

I adore the surroundings in this one. From the details in the cupboards to the tiny dinosaur (?), it's a real pleasure to look at this and try make out all the little things you've put in it.
