immortal music ~

This is my first submission to ~germania and the topic Interpretation of music

I chose this title, because in my opinion music is for the infinity. Music is untouchable. The music has survived generations, wars and revolutions. The music itself changes. A long time ago the "Classic" was really modern and everyone was listening to Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven. Today, we have a lot of musicians like Madonna, Norah Jones, a lot of boygroups and people like Eminen. 'The Face' of the music has changed, but the heart is the same as at that time.

To show this I have used the 'modern' earbuds and an old sheet of music.

Camera: Olympus c4000z
Exposure: 1/20 sec
Programs: NeatImage, Photoshop (contrast, frame)

I love sheets, it's a different type of fonts, and those little points with strands mean SO much...sometimes the music they'll become makes me cry...
I love esp. piano... I learned to play on it 7 years, but cause my mom made me hate it, I left lessons, but now, I'm 14, and everyday I can't play anything home, I'm sad... I think you just made me think to try it again :)

Hi! I featured this beautiful pic in my last journal
If, for any reason, you prefer to take it off please let me know

I love the modern and old clash, this gives this picture some depth so that you have to think about what it means.
I'm going to feature this in a journal. I would give you the link, but I am not finished creating it yet, although it will be in my journal archives sometime soon. If you would rather not be featured, just send me a note and I will take it down. Thank you!

Great concept, I fully agree with you. I like the contrast you made. The sepia tone also makes it look old, and immortal =)

Well, it's fantastic. I'm guitarrist and this image could be a balance of my work, and yes, it's amaze how music can be the same ever. Good concept

A very elegant and lovely piece. Having played music of both the classical age and the contemporary age of today, I can definitely relate.

Splendid work.

I like that you can see "Sempre" (always) on the sheet music...was that intentional?

I was wondering if I could get permission to use your photo in an upcoming music webpage for a class assignment for a music school? The warmth and layout would be perfect. Let me know, Christy

this was excellently executed. the focus shifting at an angle across the music page to the earphones was well thought of and i'll have to agree with sint -the pen adds a nice touch -great use of colour. love it Thumbs Up

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeat shot and composition...

Anyway, great shot!

super foto!!

Bin beeindruckt
