Description
Early autumn in Belvoir Forest, Belfast. This tree is beginning to turn to autumn hues. Some golden coloured leaves are now visible, and some have fallen to the ground.
I love this angle because it shows good detail in the tree trunk and also the curved shape of the tree as it overhangs the dip.
The sun was shining from behind the tree, so this is a composition of nine shots, in order to capture all the detail.
This tree seems to be at its best early in the morning.
(Revised sharpness and colours - 16 July.)
