And thanks much for the :+fav:s and for the :+devwatch:!

aber gerne doch! :)

Hallo wieder, Ronja. Thanks for writing. I will help you with your English by writing in the language I know best. I lived in the little village of Bempflingen between Nuertingen and Tuebingen. (And please forgive me for not having umlauts available on my keyboard!) I can understand almost anything in German, but I often find myself uncertain about how to write my thoughts in what is in some ways meine Muttersprache. My mother was German, so I suppose that Deutsch is my Mutter's Sprache even if not actually my Muttersprache. Thanks again for taking a look at my photography. I'm going to visit your gallery now. Bis bald....

haha!! what a nice differentiation! may i ask what region your mother came from? "bempflingen"... well... i guess, i've heard about it ^^ but i still can't keep all those little villages in my confused mind  --- my gallery's quite different from yours :D but it's like the "rolling stones" already said "it's only rock'n'roll but i like it!" ;) (released in a very good vintage btw ^^)

Yes, they must look very beautiful snow-covered with some sun-rays making them look like silver.. maybe this winter you'll even make them a photo.

No problem! North Dakota today is cold! But cold and mild spring is better than what we had last year. It got up to 70 degrees (what with global warming and all) and just wouldn't go back down! So our summer was 90+ degrees, very hot and very uncomfortable. I know one day was 116 degrees; that's something like Death Valley's temperature! Hopefully, this summer will not be so bad.

Oh, my goodness! Yesterday here was gorgeous, around 55 degrees. It was so nice I walked to work, but as I have only done this a couple times so far, my feet and everything else was hurting pretty bad once my shift was over (I work fast food) and I had to walk home after! :XD:

LOL! It sure doesn't feel like it now. I'm actually not that sore, though. I love to walk, I just don't walk a long distance a lot. I'll live. :)

But you may always write in German; I have no trouble reading it.

aaah wunderbar :)
woher kommen die tollen Deutschkenntnisse? Kein einziger Fehler :)

If I may always write in German then I should maybe watch you and your work .. ;)
I'm not used to write German in dA, so I think I prefer English - but I will post some German words here and there haha :)

It is raining here, already the whole day .. started this night at 3 .. and at the moment it looks like it will never stop again .. ;)

Oh, thanks for the :+devwatch: Annika! The German comes from einen Sommerkurs in Bayern. Ein Wunder, nicht? Actually, the truth is a bit more complicated. My mother was German, from just northeast of Berlin. I have relatives all over Deutschland, including Hamburg, Luebeck, Frankfurt/O, Ravensburg, und Muenchen. When I visit my relatives, they speak German and I speak English and we understand each other almost perfectly. Somehow it is always easier to speak, listen to, and read another language than it is to write. Nimm deinen Regenshirm heute mit....

Aaah I can imagine that haha and heey you're welcome for the add, I'm curious for new :)
Well, i didn't leave the house today, it was or still is just so disgusting and annoying.

But hey isn't it great to have relatives in another country? I just visited Munich some days ago and I could take some beautiful shots in the circus and at a station (it's a photo with the big station light) .. It was a nice trip and I really enjoyed it :) What do you think about Berlin? I love the city .. have been there already 3 times .. ;)

Hallo wieder. I also love Berlin, especially now that the "Wall" has been (mostly) removed. I have relatives from what we used to call the "Ost Zone", and I visited them before the "Wende". Es war wirklich grauenhaft! But now they can come freely to visit California, and I can visit them without feeling like I have entered a huge prison.

Did you already post the Munich photos? I'll have to go take a look.
