First, thanks to all people that read this, to be interested in my work and I hope my english isn't too bad :)

-Software:  Photoshop CS 3.

-Hardware: MacBook Pro 2.53 GHz, Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 106 Mhz DDR3

-Graphic Tablet: Wacom Bamboo 4X5 and sometimes Intuos.

-How long does it take you to complete a piece? : from 6 to 8 hours.

-Do you rough sketch a piece first then complete it on your computer? no, I do all digital, from skecth, lineart and finally color.

-Technique: grisaille/brunaille... you start from dark to light, using a greyscale or sepia.

-Brushes: standart brush with shape dynamics and other dynamics activated. Pen pressure enabled.

-Why digital? 'cos is faster (you don't have to wait until paint dries) and cheaper than traditional :)

-Resolution size: 300dpi, letter size or bigger.

Q: Do you do requests or trades?:

-Sadly I not take request or trades, 'cos a matter of time :(

Q: Do you take Commissions?:

-yes I do, please send me a note to send you my full price list. and we will agree the next step :D

Q: Paypal?:

- Not at this moment. Sadly paypal is very dificult to change here on Chile, so maybe we can use Western union or Moneygram :) Is easy, you can do it online or in the agency.

Q: I want you to draw my character/s as a commission, what do  you need to start?

-Send me a very direct description of the character and image divided in this way:
Character: Gender, Age, hair and eye color, physical complexion, kind of personality and description for cloth too or references.
Background: Short Description of the place, Weather/ambient and references if is needed.

Q: What do you draw and what you don´t?

-Depends of what you have in mind, but I avoid yaoi or hardcore stuff

Q: What I will get for the Commission?

-A full image in high res, 300 dpi. You can print it on the size you want (even bigger as 2 to 3 mts/10 feet) plus you will have the previous steps as sketches or lineart if you ask for it and the rights to use the image of course. :)

Q: I have some doubts about the final image, can you do some corrections/edits?

-yes, I offer you 3 edits over the final image. so try to have a clear image before start the color. After the 3 edits I will ask for an extra payment. :(

Q: Can you teach me how to draw? my apologies, it's too long to explain but you can check a couple of tutorials I have in my gallery and check my livestream or ask me specific questions :)

-Tip to draw: first learn how to draw and paint by hand (olis, inks etc) and the pass to digital, is always easier to dominate the system and then change format. Another tip: skecthes everyday, its like kung fu, more your train, your body learns how to move and the information remains in your head. see how your favorite artists create solutions for graphic problems and learn from it, draw people of the street, etc, until your hand gets used to draw and then pass to lineart, color. (many many sketches do develop a own style too).

Q: Do you do payed classes?:

- no I don't, but you can see the process when I so streams, and it's for free :)
Livestream: sometimes late at night, I advice to my watchers at my journal.

Q: Can I use your artwork for my commercial project?

-all the images I upload in my gallery are for commissions and company works, so I can't allow the use 'cos a copyright thing.

Q: Can I use an image for my signature, tattoo, blog, avatar, training/sketch, custom cards, etc?

-Sure, you can use it! :) for non commercial use is Ok. just drop me a link and put the credits :)

Q: Can you send me a high res of your images?

-I can't  due the copyright issue. :(

Q: What should I study to work on this?

Most of the people I know are self taught, maybe you want study something related as designer or arts, but in my experience nobody ask you what did you studied in this media, your portfolio is the important thing, in the same way of the play is an athlete, to offer many options for clients, and to like what you do makes you try to improve on it.

The nonprofit group I am apart of is interested in using your "Red Barron" art work in an upcoming airshow poster. Can you please tell me if it is for sale by yourself or the owner.

Thanks in advance, Michael

I've seen your amazing-beyond-all-belief Charizard speedpaint and I wondered--how did you use the smudge tool for blending? Do you have a specific brush or pattern for it?

You should really consider/trying to get Paypal to work, it has changed since 2011, maybe for your country too? I'd die for a comish from you ;//o//; :iconlazycryplz:

No pay pal? Awww. I don't know how to do any other payment and/or have little means to pay otherwise.
You're that artist from the WoW screenshots. I always liked those pictures.
If Paypal ever works properly in your country, depending on pricing, I may commission one of my World of Warcraft characters.

I see you made an artbook a while back. I still plan on buying it when I finally get money.

Thing is, I'm also planning on selling an artbook. I think I know how, but I'm not entirely sure... I was wondering how you are doing it, and would like to ask some questions about it. :)

I am interested in commissioning some art from you. I really enjoy your work I have sent a note, but since I am a new user I don't know if it went through. Or if it is the correct method of contacting you) Could you please reply to know the next step?

Thank you very much!

I have a doubt, do you make your backgrounds from scratch, or do you do photomanipulations as well?

GENZOMAN Featured By Owner Mar 18, 2012
I use a lot of textures in stock I have and mix it with paint when I need a realistic texture or a more detailed environment.
DrWafu Featured By Owner Mar 18, 2012  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Ah, I see. Thanks a lot for letting me know. ^^
I find it very difficult to make detailed backgrounds from scratch >.<"
willow-wishes Featured By Owner Mar 8, 2012
Uhm.. What is the canvas size you usually start with? not the dpi, just the inches or pixels (because some artists get confused when asked this)

Thank you for being so amazing :D
GENZOMAN Featured By Owner Mar 18, 2012
I usually use a letter/tabloid size at 300 dpi.

Genzoman I really enjoy your artwork, especially the ones as seen in the World of Warcraft loading screen. I would like to think about a commission but unfortunately I have deviantART points, and I don't think you accept those. It would be cool though.

GENZOMAN Featured By Owner Mar 18, 2012

Glad I read this. I was going to ask you some questions that were already answered here. I love your stuff! I would like to 'paint' my sketches using some type of computer graphics program that you and just about every other person on here has, but don't really have the means to get such a program yet. I can't believe you just sketch right on the computer...I guess a tablet would work better than a mouse, but that's pretty impressive (for me). Haha. Me and my mouse are not on the same page. Anywho, thanks for uploading your tutorials and work.

WoW! I have been Impressed with your Work from the first Time I saw it! (Don't worry about your English, I'm American!)
You obviously do your Research on the Characters you Draw (lots of the 'Mythology' stuff you do is Great!) I can't Draw
stuff, and the Digital/Computer work I have no Connection to, but YOU ROCK with what you Do!

I am glad to know that there are awesome artists like you who use the Bamboos more than the Intuos that most experienced artists go for. Even if the Intuos has better specs, your art skills with the Bamboo is excellent. :)

Hi Genzo, buenas respuestas! :)

What do you mean sometimes Intuos? You have both? Which situations do you use use Intuos instead of Bamboo.
GENZOMAN Featured By Owner Aug 12, 2011
Hi. I have both, but to be honest i didnt use the Intuous for a long time. I just use it to ink sometimes for the pen tilt option :)
