How does one turn a scarf inside out? That confuses me. Do you just like... I don't know. Can someone explain this to me?
You sew two identical scarves. And then you sew them together by the sides.

Which side did you leave open to turn right side out? A small side or a long side?
okay, even with the false measurements of 2x2.5 it is litterally impossible to only be able to use half a yard of each, and ESPECIALLY with the revised, 4.5x5. it just doesn't work out! a yard is 36x36, and the full measurement of fabric from 18*4.5 and 18*5 = 81x90. What on earth???? I'm so confused by all of this!

Umm.. I didn't really figure it out... I use the metric system, so I'm not really familiar with yards, but how many square yards would I need?

Yes this certainly could be! If you mean hand sewing, it would take a long time, depending on how fast you sew, but this definitely could be done by hand, yes!
