My Bio
I have been drawing since I was 6 years old. I've always wanted to be an illustrator and a comic artist. But sometimes, life chooses for you ;) So I became a webdesigner and a graphic artist and I used to draw in my free time to become better and try to be a pro. I founded my own webagency where I worked for a few years.
Now, years have passed and my dream has become a reality : I'm an illustrator for several publishers in various countries :D
However, I'm still a graphic artist/webdesigner. I love these jobs. I don't want to do more things (even if I'm curious of everything). Too many hats could dilute skills ^^.
Now I would like to work in another country. A place where I can speak English (because I love speaking English) ;)

Some Publishers :
- Random House (US)
- L'atalante (France)
- Bragelonne (France)
- Opointzero (Belgium)
- Voy'el (France)
- Black Coat Press (US)
- Couleur dite/parole peinte (France)
- (More to come when books will be in stores)

What can I say ? I don't see. If you have any question, don't hesitate to contact me.

ENGLISH VERSION (It's hard to explain in english but I try :D)
This is a little "short guide" that governs my personal work. It goes without saying that when I work for clients, I follow their rules.

The design and graphic design have always fascinated me. Kid, I ruined the comics of my parents with sketches which were, to be gentle... abstracts and perfectibles.
Since then I have been exploring and working with all the techniques that I had the opportunity to try, drawing, lithography, engraving, graphic design, photography, linocut, writing, typography...
Without becoming a master in all these disciplines, I found my inspiration for the image in all its forms.
Once the "image" (whatever that is) passed through the filter of perception and imagination of everyone, it is possible to create variations, nuances and variations... Without doubt this is the best idea that we can get of infinity.

Sometimes I wonder what would have been my results if I took the Rorschach test.
Since forever I see incredible shapes in the clouds. I look at the sand and I imagine forgotten cities, what it could have been before becoming sand, that it will become in several millennia. What happens when a child builds a castle with a shovel and bucket...
Do microscopic peoples or civilizations collapse and are created like anthills imperceptible to the eye?

That's the same for all plants, wood, metal, asphalt, paint, rust, etc.. Everything is game textures, lights and colors, a myriad of languages and messages for eyes that know how to "listen".
In a sense, everything we see is like a symphony, some see more or less. This huge choir of visual effects began a long time before our appearance and will continue after all life will be gone. However, it seems to me that humans could be excellent interlocutors of this music if they bothered to listen and see... The elements are not only twisted and bent to our will for our little earthly needs. They have a soul, a personality, an expression...

In my work I try to learn this language. I currently practice but there is no Rosetta stone on which to base, just creations... A concert of works of thousands of artists, craftspeople are as many interpretations of these languages ... and they become my inspiration...

I mix various elements (sand, bread, eggs, vegetables, leaves, bark...). Then it all goes through the filter of my imagination and a variety of techniques (photography, drawing, computer graphics...) in an attempt to bring out feelings, emotions, telling stories or tales...

And when a person likes one of my pieces of work, then it is that I managed to master one of those universal languages, at least briefly. And then it's time to get back to my pencils...
