Jubilee is reimagined as Hanabi.

Hanako was raised by her grandfather, a great fireworks designer based in the city of Edo. She grew up in his shop, alongside the guild artisans, learning the trade and techniques of fireworks manufacturing. She showed such natural promise that her grandfather recognized her as his official apprentice. She learned the secret mixtures of chemical compounds that produced the unique fireworks their guild was famous for.

Sadly, Hanako lost her grandfather in a catastrophic explosion during a summer festival. Though the misfiring was actually the result of sabotage by a rival firework guild, her guild lost face and was forced to close down. Hanako has since stubbornly attempted to keep her grandfather's guild alive by continuing to create new fireworks- sometimes even stealing necessary materials.

Seeing her incredible talent and need for a place to belong, Master Zenji brought her to his school. Hanako is still a child, and a constant source of mischief, but her knowledge of fireworks has perhaps surpassed her mentor. She is a valuable ally and member of the Master's adopted family.
