Another recovery from my Jarredspekter account. This one I found on Derpibooru.

Yes, I was a real fan for a long time of the Generation Three adaptation of My Little Pony called Friendship is Magic. I really liked the characterization, the real attempt at world building, and an interesting combination of fairy tale adventure, humor, and at least in the original seasons some degree of peril and overcoming adversity. 
I also still really like the iconography with each character quickly identifiable by their silhouette and color scheme.

Yeah, as much as I still like the show as it is, I’ll admit that I too miss the “high fantasy” aspects the original seasons had. It was very reminiscent of G1 in that way but with a fully-realized world and characters that had definitive personalities and goals, not to mention some self-aware humor that was there, but wasn’t too overly-used as to be obnoxious.

It’s probably a good thing that it’s ending now, before it becomes too worn-out or tired. :/
