Darkness Strikes

In her investigation, Darkness was able to locate the Heretic's mentor: Dr. Richard Hayashi.

Darkness knew that the good doctor wasn't going to be an obstacle, it would be wiser to use him to lure the Heretic into a trap. Something happened that Darkness was not expecting, however. As she transformed back into her dangerous form, Hayashi was able to catch a glimpse of her, "Maria... ?"

Darkness hesitated for a moment, but the parasite that granted her powers pushed her to capture him without question. This was the first time that Darkness... Maria... did not agree on a course of action. Never the less, Darkness trusted her 'partner's' judgement.
