Strikers Charged Mega by General-RADIX Strikers Charged Mega by General-RADIX
Megaman Light

Character Type: Playmaker
Mega Strike: Megaman kicks the ball into the air, jumps up to meet it, and shoots it into the net with a Charge Shot.
Super Ability: VWS! (Mega will steal the SA of the opposing captain.)
Deke: Megaman makes a small hop forward.
Team Emblem: The Dr. Light symbol.
Away Entrance: Megaman hops onto the field and waves to the opposing team.
Home Entrance: As Megaman runs into the field, he takes his helmet off an tosses it into the air, catching it some moments later.
Theme: Light Rock

And this looks like the last piece of art submitted to dA for 2009! Couldn\'t quite emulate the Mario Strikers Charged style, but I\'m still happy with the result.

Now someone get him a towel or something to hide his midriff. >.>

As a charge shot comes out of megaman's arm, wouldn't the Super count as touching the ball and thus a foul?

I dunno; technically, Megaman isn't physically touching the ball.

The action pose is nicely done. I like the fiery effect, too.

You should draw MegaMan in Strikers Charged style into Ruby Spears cartoon style what do you think? ;)

You know I swear i read somewhere that soccer is Rock's favourite sport. If I'm remebering correctly than it would add a link between dimensions as Lan's favourite sport is also soccer. And Lan is related to that dimension's first Mega Man, and his operator.

Don't you just love parallel dimensions?

You are absolutely correct.

In the Mega Man: Powered Up! manual, it states his favorite sport is soccer and he likes animals, dogs especially.

It makes sense with those enormous feet, fast reflexes, and overall toughness.

If only someone would hurry up and build real androids. Then I might actually tolerate spectacles of athletics. XD

He doesn't have enormous feet, just big boots. Yeah I know he's never really been shown NOT wearing the boot things, but meh, most of us are pretty sure Rock has actual feet. Roll has them, so the rest of the RM's have them too I would imagine. And those feet would be normally proportioned.

But the rest is right, plus he's designed as an athletic kid, and the most basic sport is soccer (just need a ball).

So I wonder if Rock also likes rollerblading. Hehehe.

Yeah, actually his calves and feet are huge by default, if the official artwork is correct. I just picked up the Udon books and when he's in his little robot underwear and nothing else, he still has legs shaped like his boots. Now, it could be that's some weird plating, but it's flesh colored.

Of course, in other art, he's drawn without the joint-lines, so it could just be who was drawing on what day.

In the "summer" art, it's evident their bodies are pretty much human, with no joint-lines. But they said "Roll" drew it, so maybe she humanized them.

I have no idea what the official "deal" is. His hair color changes too. Mostly it's drawn black, but sometimes it's brown. The style is fairly consistent. Blues is the one who changes a LOT. He goes from having hair like Rock's to having a ridiculous pompadour.

I mean, in some art, he clearly has musculature and in the older stuff, he's almost chubby. Sometimes he looks five, sometimes he looks fifteen. Roll definitely aged as the games went on.

The Mega androids (and gynoids) don't seem to have any consistencies other than a general look that seems to become sleeker and more adult as time goes on. :)

Because it doesn't really matter what's under the armour as long as their armoured sprites are there. In Powered Up it looks like some kind of mix between sneakers and boots.

I don't care, I say he has normal, human-like legs.

Blues... he's physically similar to Rock in height and build, though his AI is slightly older. But still, I tend to get annoyed with all these deep, mysterious, late twenties voices they give Blues. At most he'd sound like a young teenager. And Rock like a young boy considering that's basically what he is.

As for musculature it's become pretty staple that all the Robot Masters have builds ranging from athletic to muscular (like Guts Man). All the chubbiness is gone.

Now I think Capcom should make a semi-remake of Mega Man Soccer (SNES), but for the Wii, and use this design for Mega Man. Maybe it could be "Capcom Superstar Strikers"? I dunno. Anyway, great art. Keep it up.

Stop being epic, damnit. *non obvious joke detected*

I've never played any of the strikers games, really. I need to. But I'm liking the overall statics you gave him.

Home entrance ftw. Someone made an animation of that.

Awesome. XD Whenever I think of Megaman and soccer, I think of Charged Kick, but this works better.

Why are your ideas so epic?!
