[SFM Resource] AugEnh Models V1.01 by Gen-ma [SFM Resource] AugEnh Models V1.01 by Gen-ma
Removing some textures to fix memory issue. Some of the numbers will change for the $irisframe.

Changes from V1:
Reduced Textures: From 400MB~500MB to 200MB~250MB (Each model)
Skin-1: Scaling reduced texture from 0-69 to 0-14
Skin-2: Crazy and Star eyes reduced textures from 0-24 to 0-19
Skin-3: Twinkling Eyes reduced textures from 0-14 to 0-12

All 6 models loaded overall reduced textures:
Removed 920MB of unnecessary textures
All six models loaded roughly from ~3100MB (with map) to ~2180MB (with map)

MODELS - V1.01
Link 1:…

Link 2:…

I have a little bit of experience in compiling and modeling.

This is an updated version from the previous animated eyes I made back almost a year ago. I'm releasing this as a separate model from the original enhanced version because these are custom and they tailor to the element viewer in SFM for animated textures.

I had to reduced body textures from 4096KB to 2048KB, so it wouldn't be too memory taxing on SFM. (To be honest there a small difference from the orginial)
There were a lot more textures invovled about roughly 20 animated textures:
but due to SFM limits I fit in the ones that count.

There are preset scene files set up for each model, but if you have to have two of models in the scene then I would follow this tutorial

Tutorial of how animated textures works: (These are old numbers on Tutorial remember to use the new numbers)…

$irisframe (eyeball_l, eyeball_r, eyeball_l2, eyeball_r2, eyeball_l3, eyeball_r3, eyeball_l4, eyeball_r4)
Skin-0: 0-10 (0-3 Normal Eyes) (4-6 shocked eye) (7-10 Souless eyes)
Skin-1: 0-14 Scaling eyes
Skin-2: 0-19 (Crazy Eyes 0-14)(15-19 Star Eyes)
Skin-3: 0-12(Twinkling eyes) (0-2 Normal) (3-5 Medium) (6-8 Small)(9-12 Big)
Normal to Dirt
$Frame (Body, Tail, Tail straight, hair straight, Hair....)
Body:0-4 Normal to Dirt (Rainbow Dash 0-9)(Pinkie Pie 0-9)
Pinkie Straight Hair: 0-1
Pinkie Straight Tail: 0-1
++ Animated Textures
++ More eye variant
++ Body dirt texture (only on body atm) (will do hair, wings, hair, tail later on depends on SFM memory)
++ Added body group to remove horn, wings, eyes, hair, tail
++ Added sindroom horns
++ Mirrored Manes
++ Presets Work
++ Pinkie Pie has 4 manes (straight and normal, plus the mirrored)

+- Uses element viewer
+- Reduce body texture from 4096KB to 2048KB

-- 200MB~250MB per model
-- Hierarchy tab is unorganized (Can get confusing make sure to name your sliders or set up where you understand which slider is which) (organization is key)
-- Loading each model takes time set up animated eyes (4 in total)
-- Some Jiggles are a little weird on mirrored manes
-- Crazy eyes texture UV map is odd make sure to view target is front and forward.
-- Some presets break twilights wings (used a different winged model) (do not select the wings when doing a preset)
--Just realize need to fix fluttershy mirrored mane I made it slightly smaller by accident...

All the source files used:
Textures: (Rainbow Dash has a lot textures inside (I would ignore them because those were all the test I did)
Adobe Animate 2017 Eye Files: (If you have experience in Flash you will see a jumble mess but I only did for exporting reason because I could change of the color of the eyes quickly and render them out fast)
Adobe Photoshop 2017 Body Files:  (This contains all the photoshop files for the body textures, also comes with argodaemon dirty textures that he used on Littlepip)(body only)
Model source files: (Mostly from AeridicCore pack but alter a little bit) (I reduce jiggle butt because it jiggles so much DX) (I might mess around with the jiggle ears as they are fickle)

Also I am leaving the source files of the mirrored manes here with the rest of the files I used. I didn't bother changing the tri into quads, because I was only mirroring manes model, and changing joint orientation for jiggle bones. The mirrors are not a 100% accurate with jiggle orientation with orginial more like 80% to 95% accurate but they will do.

You listed Lyra as one of the models names, but I can only find her textures in the source files.  Was there no room for her?
Gen-ma Featured By Owner Edited Jun 5, 2018   General Artist
When I was working on the mane 6, Lyra was next on the list, but never started. The initial release had overload of animated textures files (textures files take up the most memory) and Lyra was going to be up there but at the time the models took too much memory (around 400-500mb per model) and SFM max limit is around 3.5GB. The six models I put up in the picture was at 3.1GB with a random map. I was going to work on Lyra next, but it was going to be later on because there are few issues I want to solve some things first before I go do the rest of the background ponies.

So far...
I already lowered the animated textures down, so now each model takes roughly 200MB.
I think have a better solution for all the animated textures, just take some time to make.

Whoops: Thank you for pointing it out! =), My bad on my part. Typo errors.

And how do I can use all these different eyes? 0, 1 and 3 skins show me absolutely normal eye, and 2 is shocked small eyeball, also broken (many of eyeballs  if you turn it to the right-left).
Anyway the number of bones is impressive, very and very nice job.

Oh, it was in description. Eh, I'm kinda stupid.
Well, that looks just amazing. Poses, emotions, animations, bones, textures - wow.
Another question. Why didn't you download this in the Steam Workshop? It seems it's harder to find something what you need in workshop than in DA. I already found here some HD models, with reworked eyeballs, and now your creation. (but still didn't find party cannon, heh)

Sounds like SFM is terrible :/

"I would recommend only using 1 or 2 at most for a scene. Anymore, you have the potential to crash Source filmmaker. (Just letting you know I did load all 6 in one file and almost maxed memory out but then reset back to 200MB after the file has been in limbo for awhile)"
Wut? O.o
seriously? is it so LIMITED? O:o
The only moment Poser is at it's limit at Poser is around 12GB RAM for me O.o
which is fully detailed scenes + 30-40 ponies or 10 HQ characters + Clothing

Thank god i picked Poser Pro instead even tho it has trillions of bugs? :p
Dreadmaster231 Featured By Owner Apr 15, 2018
I'd use Poser/Daz but I can't find any good quality ponies that are already pre-constructed(I;e the mane 6,7,8). Also, I have no idea how to compile stuff for it.
TaishoBee Featured By Owner Apr 16, 2018  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
I agree with this. I use Poser.
Naduron0 Featured By Owner Apr 15, 2018  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Yeah only found 1 Mare Pony model for Poser Q.Q
The Alicorn i'm using is a imported model from Blend, which has only basic skeleton and no weightmaps and other stuff like the "Base models" has so they are very stiff on the joints :/

also the most problem is that imported models has no morph, so i can't make any expressions on the face, i have to create them my self which is a pain the ass to make Q.Q
Dreadmaster231 Featured By Owner Apr 15, 2018
Are all the horses you have complete models? Or? Lookin through your galley you have quite a few.
Naduron0 Featured By Owner Edited Apr 15, 2018  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Nah there were only Appljack and Derpy models for Poser……
so i had to do the painstaking job of creating the pony models myself by re-texturing the models for every pony and import the tail and mane from blend pony models (Pony Model Download Center) , so i can easily put the manes and tails on and off :3

which doesn't have skeletons but i can easily add dynamic to them, but for some reason there is a big bug with it for me, i can't use "save as" or delete the dynimic feature after i created it if i try so will Poser crash
can also create my own skeleton for it but i am to  lazy xD
i rather just move it around with the polygon editor if it their position was to horriblexD
Dreadmaster231 Featured By Owner Apr 15, 2018
Hmm, I only have the Aj and Derpy files, mind sharing what you have?
Naduron0 Featured By Owner Edited Apr 16, 2018  Hobbyist Digital Artist
i have never shared models before so dunno if im missing something :p

I uploaded all of them, which contain humans, demon, Ponies, Ponies OC's and Alicorns
I don't have Stallion/Male Pony for Poser, can import it from other sources but it wouldn't have any morphes and many other Poser features, so i didn't bother.

- the "working pony folders": the textures are in the "Photo"

- the "#My Little Pony - Characters" folder are meant for the Runtime\Libraries\Character\ folders, im using it to fast and easily add the characters on the scene :)

- the "#My Little Pony" contain Poses i created for the Ponies
they are meant to be inside the Runtime\Libraries\Pose\

- Uploaded also my lights i made
"Lights" are the global lights
Place them in Runtime\Libraries\Light
"Character Lights" are spot lights for your characters, place the box INSIDE your character and then hide the box

Can’t compile em all into one big file? Or would that cause any issues?

Were still stuck on the old engine. RIP Source 1. Source limit is around 3.5 GB. If only we can utilize more RAM without crashing.
Naduron0 Featured By Owner Apr 15, 2018  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Wow that is so low O.o

Gotta love 32 bit software limits. DX
AeridicCore Featured By Owner Apr 14, 2018  Hobbyist Digital Artist
This is what you get when stuffing a model with assload of textures. Unfortunately, Source preloads all vtfs/subd instances/presets involved (don't ask me why, it's just stupid) so in the end you get that memory/cpu overload.

Idea is good tho. But too tiresome to make OCs/other canon with it. Because, you know, that's a lot of retexturing.
Gen-ma Featured By Owner Edited Apr 15, 2018   General Artist
I do agree with you, I did stuffed them assload of textures. It was mostly the animated textures that killed SFM which is probably not the most effective way.:XD: Also, not really effective in making OCs with them or making another model with them (there was crap ton textures to go through then having to animate them all in flash) DX. Source 1 RIP! I did have another idea though instead of using textures though, something similar what Sindroom did with the Orthos model, but I need to do more testing...

I also did thought about just having just single frames eyes instead of several animated textures. I think that would of been the better route. I could eliminate all the animate textures and just have one skin with one animated texture. It would get rid of the problem of the loading issue and bring the down the memory about the same as the enhanced version. I would probably only have just 20 png instead of 300 png being used.
