Here at Gemstone Estate we have some rules regarding breeding our horses to other horses. These are the general rules and breed specific rules will say BREED ONLY before the rule. However, we do have the right to change or add to these at any time. We will inform you of any changes if you have signed already to make sure you still agree to these.

Rules

1. Mares or stallions with group inbreeding rules must be approved by us first! Even then we prefer that the breeding partners be approved by us. we prefer to not inbreed as those tend to cause defects in horses
2. We require a breeding picture for all breedings including one of our horses. We prefer full body images for these however, headshots are okay unless we ask otherwise. If the other owner of the horse of the pair you are breeding does not require a breeding picture, you may draw our horse in a full body image. Horses must be colored and recognizable as said horse.
- This can be waived at our discretion. Affiliates do not need to do breeding pictures
3. With all breedings, we require a sire/dam slot to the foal. If we own both parents, only one slot is needed. If we have no need for the slot, we will inform you.
4. FOR NATURAL BREEDS with these breedings i will design you a foal once the breeding picture is complete.
Crossbreeding is only allowed for natural horses. All other breeds must be purebred breedings.
5. If you have been inactive for more than a year without a hiatus warning on your page and do not have an icon, i may remove your slot I prefer not to have slots sitting in wait for years on end for the buyer to use them if they show no signs of showing activity on their page.
