Yeah, currently enrolled at the RRC Institute of technology for Video game design and development, and at the time of the journal I'll be starting my 4th week.
I'm learning all sorts of things, from using applications like adobe illustrator and Photoshop to codding in HTML5,CSS, and Java, as well as modelling in 3DS Max.(the shettiest application I've ever used)
I'm in a class of 18, and we're all working together to get through this but when I hear that about 25%-15% of the students only pass!
Thought I've always wanted (well maybe not always) to make games, thought playing games and making them are two very different things, cause if that were the case if I spent as much time making a game as I did playing them well then I've have a game now. One of the things that I'll hopefully be doing now is posting some of the things I'll be making for one of my game concepts on DA, I've always loved machines, technology and glorious MECHS! you'll be seeing that primarily, as well as a few characters designs.
On another note got to fly for the first time on my way to Toronto from Alberta, it was great, and you can't beat the view.
Unfortunately those airport packers weren't too gentle with my computer and the CPU fan popped off(there were even fragile stickers slapped on too!) and that slowed my computer down so much and then I had to order some thermal paste and waited a week for that, usually I play League of legends at 100+ fps but when my rig was overheating it dropped as low as 4!
Oh! and I also got a little Huion drawing tablet and so far I'm loving it and it's what I'll be using for all my drawing needs.
