I'm back! It has been MONTHS since I've logged into DeviantArt. When I came back, I had over 10,000 Watcher Notifications (or whatever you call them). After clearing those out and pruning my Watch list, I'm ready to participate, again. I have come to the realization that the only art I'm any good at deals is writing. Getting Better

0 min read
Very recently, I've begun playing around with some of the more "difficult" parts of 3d modeling with Daz Studio. I've been creating transparency maps and using primitives to create props for the characters. Nothing too complex, mind you, but now that I know how to work with it, my mind is churning with ideas of props and scenes I want to make. This still does not enter the realm of pure modeling. I'm not creating poseable models in Blender or anything like that. But, if I keep going in the direction I am, I may graduate to that in the future. It all depends on whether I get what I need out of the tools I'm currently using.
