Torso with waist scarf

made from Sneezewood, Ptaeroxylon obliquum, from South Africa

It has been an old fence post in South Africa

As the rough piece had still a nail in it and had this incredible weathered surface I decided to preserve parts of it,

So I decided for a Torso with waist scarf

The carved parts are polished and oiled.

I love the contrast between the rough and the finished surface with its incredible vein.

Size 40 x 17 x 15 cm
