Post Election Words

Every person I know (except one), online and IRL, is upset, stunned, ashamed, worried, etc. about the results of yesterday's election.
I imagine the mood here on DA mirrors that.
This is what is what I wrote on Facebook this morning to a loved one who exclaimed, "Don't say to me to relax, take a deep breath, everyone's gonna be alright...":
Relax, yes. Breathe, yes. But be complacent, no. We must tip the scales back toward love and compassion. Treat all humanity with respect and honor. All life is precious.
As artists we can do this. A difficult challenge has been set before us, and we will "up our game" to meet and exceed this challenge. Be positive. Be a beacon of light and hope. Only then will everything be alright.

Still focused on work and family. Also, I've gotten off a medication that was barely working and making me extremely lethargic. Slowly getting back into a groove & hoping it's not a rut.
