Weimar People I

My next novel is definitely going to be set in the Weimar Republic, but for now, I'm just reading and drawing.  The Weimar Republic (Germany 1919-1933) was home to a burgeoning gay-rights movement and these ladies are taking full advantage of it.  Trudi, on the right, is a boot girl, a domme who advertises her specialty by the color of her boots; Liselotte, on the left, is based on Annemarie Schwarzenbach.  So happy with how this came out!

Such an interesting and confusing time. It´s my history topic in class right now. I thought that the girl on the right was a boy at first... I like the shading and the proportions of the characters ^^
