In the 1930s, flying clubs sprang up all over the Soviet Union and many boys and girls as young as 14 got their pilot's licenses.

Hmmm looks like Stinson or Piper, but it's unlikely that they could be in the Soviet Union... So, perhaps, this is Yak-10 or Yak-12, but their production started in late 40s.
