W40K - WRAITHGUARD TACTICA CHAPTER

And here we are, folks!

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war!

It's finally time to show you the pieces of the Warhammer 40,000 redesign I've been working on recently!

Outside the hive city, the battlefield is now a desolate wasteland where the Astartes of the WRAITHGUARD TACTICA CHAPTER have held out against countless xenos hordes. From the thick dust of battle, three Astartes emerge. The Pragmatists Team moves forward, ready to take up position and repel the invaders once again...

Obviously, I'm better at drawing than writing, but I think this is a good introduction to a piece where I show you these guys!

Like all my redesigns, this one was designed to give the Astartes a more practical and believable look for their armor, streamlining and simplifying some shapes while also introducing more sci-fi details.
This led me to reimagine all the symbolism and heraldry the Space Marines carry on their armor, along with a more tactical look. They'll always be bipedal tanks, and I imagine them fighting a bit more tactically while still retaining their brutality and efficiency.
We'll take a closer look at these big guys in future articles, along with a few more details about their chapter.
