HALO - H2 MARINE REDESIGN

And here we are Folks!

New Halo redesign! Time to bring justice to Halo 2's marines!

Among the most underrated from the fans' point of view, the Halo 2 marines in the original concept art were something truly fantastic. And here I tried to take back some little things from that distant 2004 and modernize them a little in my own way.

Starting from their helmet, the 2004 original was a slight evolution of the CE one, still with the elongated shell. I tried to maintain its essence but integrating the cheek guards and elements that connect it to the H3 concepts.
The chest piece was the element where I was most indecisive, I have never been a big fan of the original piece so I decided to combine old and new halo elements, inserting the chest piece of the reach/infinite halo armor but adapting it to fit the ammo harness from the Halo 2 concepts.
The large pockets on the thigh together with the secondary weapon could not be missing. And the return of reinforced knee pads and shin guards.

The characteristic weapons of Halo 2 return in more customizable versions, in fact the BR mounts an AN/PEQ and vertical front grip and the SMG mounts its holographic sight... I really hope to see a real customization of the weapons in Halo sooner or later.
