|Jarlos Kiss, Kendall-City Is Ours|
The crew arrives to the address after encountering a horde of sewer ghosts wreaking havoc around the road. Young Peter waves his hand to greet the fans, and the female fans share their affectionate smiles toward him. Deborah drags him back to his seat with a disgusted expression on her face, and Venkman shoots a glare at her as young Ray probes his ecto-eyepiece the structural composition of the building.
I see how it is with Deborah. She has gone serious as Dr. Spengler himself after sucker punching those stupid sewer ghosts. I can tell our next objective might be worth a fortune. Peter thought.
It is described as a conjoined twin building made up of crumbling plaster; its width is 1800 square feet though its length is two times its feet as its height is seven times the number square feet of its width; it is constructed by Billy Royman, an architect from Tallahassee, Florida in the 1800's. It was open to the public in 1802, for Benjamin Barlowin studied the arts and created inspiration. He created cubist paintings rendered from his own imagination although none of the people want to afford his artworks until the day he died. Taking the dismay for his creations, Benjamin felt betrayed and broke after the criticism he gained from his spectators, so he committed suicide.
"Deborah." a dirty blonde-haired boy with a childish voice called her name. He is described as an enthusiastically aspired psychic whose friendship with Deborah back in Athens has given her the mettle to make the right choices. He wears a dove white hoodie with slime green features matching his sneakers and charcoal black khaki pants.
"Austin!" Deborah shouted in astonishment as her childhood friend runs to cuddle with her.
"It's wonderful to see you again." he grinned.
"Austin, I like you to meet my friends, the young ghostbusters. Egon, Ray, Winston, Peter, this is Austin. He's my childhood friend from Athens. He moved to New York after completing his degree in business development." Deborah introduced him to the other young Ghostbusters.
"Pleasure to meet you all." Austin smiled, shaking young Egon's hand.
"The pleasure is ours, Austin." young Egon smirked, giving him a pat in the back.
"Have you ever dealt with a quantum event before?" Ray asked him.
"You mean a gash of light storming from the distance of the city; yeah, I am familiar with it. The first time it surges through its epicenter, implementing bellicose behaviors of ghosts emerged from the dark world. A manifestation has dragged something out of the exhibit, emitting its energy as in the uv rays of the sun." Austin answered.
"And the Gozerian scepter, by any chance you catch a glimpse of it when you're there?" he continued.
"The what?" Austin questioned, cocking an eyebrow.
"He was talking about the Gozerian scepter. Any knowledge of it?" Deborah inquired.
"The weapon in which was supposed to be revealed to the New York History Museum, no." Austin answered.
"So, you weren't at the museum grounds for the exhibit then." Winston pointed out.
"We were able to collect two of the missing pieces though there are eight of them to retrieve." she responded.
"Dr. Spengler revealed to me the first piece, and it emits translucent amounts of energy to channel its frequency. If we don't collect the fragments of the scepter before the night of the lunar eclipse, most of New York City will fall under the hands of Ivo Shandor, and Armageddon will reign on the entire world." Young Egon explained to him.
"The Gozerian scepter is a powerful weapon used to conduce amounts of energy during the aftermath of Ivo Shandor's plot for Armageddon. In fact, the letterings chiseled in the scepter itself indicates residual sightings of ghosts above the horizon. They are divided into ten pieces. Eight of them consists of the same structure, the ninth piece consist of a diamond-shaped top in which consist of a powerful orb, which consists of potent residual energy harnessed at the wake of the first lunar eclipse centuries ago." Ray disclosed.
"Is Margot still here? I need to talk to her." Deborah asked.
"Yes, she's in an ambulance. I told them to not send her to the hospital for evaluation until you guys come." Austin responded, and the young ghostbusters and Deborah stride to the New York City fire department's ambulance where their witness Margot was restrained in a straitjacket labeled Parkview in a mixture of horror and protest.
"You got to believe me, you got to believe me.. you got to believe me. I'm begging you!" Margot whimpered.
"Margot, it's OK. The Ghostbusters are here." Austin appeased Margot's horror.
"What do we got?" Young Egon asked.
"It appears Margot seen a manifestation that ruined most of her artworks before she took them to the New York Cultural Center for an exhibit she participated in. The ghost left a ton of damage on others' artworks as well." Austin confirmed.
"It's going to be OK. I'm here." Deborah appeased Margot.
"Deborah," she cried, "I was terrified when the ghost managed to ruin my dream of becoming an artist. I tried to redo my artworks and called my friends to stay with me, but more ghosts appear to be possessing most of my art supplies even some of unfinished artworks including paper-mâché balloons and unfinished pottery were all possessed. You got to help me, please!"
"It'll be alright, Margot. We handle paranormal stuff most of the time." Peter smirked.
"First things first, can you describe the ghost for us?" Winston asked.
"The ghost has a sturdy red beard, he is in his early thirties, he has a fair complexion, he has black eyes, he wears a tawny robe, he wears a beret covered in acrylic paint on his head, and he has stabbed marks on his chest. He is tall and slim. The way he glared at me makes me want to stop making art. I'm so scared." she mewed.
"Tell us what happened when you were there?" Deborah inquired.
"Right when I woke up this morning to ensure if my painting is ready, I discovered gauche marks on the canvas. I smell charcoal everywhere, and acrylic paint is splattered over the walls." Margot answered, taking rapid breaths to appease her fear.
"Do you realized the ghost is a class--!" Peter was interrupted by Egon.
"Venkman, she doesn't know what classification is it." Young Egon Pointed out.
You know, it sucks when I was the leader and not our Egon. Immature I am, but this is the most inept decision Dr. Spengler made. Peter thought.
"Oh, I heard your thoughts, Venkman." a voice called to him, and Venkman gawks at Dr. Spengler on broadcast of the younger Egon's smartphone.
"Dr. Spengler, we talked with the two witnesses of the incident and commence our ghost bust at the New Sussex Suite right now." his younger counterpart responded.
"Don't you fret, Margot, the boys and I will capture the ghost for you than no time." Deborah responded.
We knew she might. Winston thought, sharing a genuine smile.
"How much I will pay you guys after you catch the ghost?" Austin asked young Egon.
"Let's try $1,000 for the entrapment. Besides, we have our latest installment for our newest ghost busting equipment in the future." Young Egon responded.
"Ooh, how about, to make it easier, $800?" Austin suggested.
"$1600?" Young Egon demanded.
"Deal." he smirked, shaking his hand.
"You take Margot, the five of us will handle the ghost," young Egon responded as the four others and he hop out of the ambulance for the paramedics to rush her to the nearest hospital for further evaluation as he contacted Dr. Spengler once again, "we wrapped up our conversation with Margot; it appears she has given us the full description of our ghostly encounter."
"Excellent. The more we enclose on the Gloomy Painter by catching him, the better it is for us to clench the rest of the pieces in time." Dr. Spengler nodded.
"We'll make sure the Gloomy Painter is going to pay for his doing, big time." Young Egon asserted.
"Agreed, we must value most of the facts as possible." Dr. Spengler responded, and his younger counterpart nods and ends his transmission with him as the group sets foot to the New Sussex Suite.
The dim lights from the lamp above them black out and alter to a violet light, expanding high rise terror upon them though fear doesn't withstand the young Ghostbusters. Shelves and couches are all enshrouded in clear bags to prevent the cobwebs and mold from harnessing the furniture. They approach the main lobby as Deborah taps the silver bell to catch a response although no one is in service when the ghost raids an attack on the innocent. Young Ray extracts his PKE boomerang and tosses it around the lobby and its integrity to analyze any activity.
The New Sussex Suite consists of various ghosts besides the ghost of Benjamin Barlowin enslaved by his abilities. Indeed, Margot mentioned on paintings with gauche marks were on the other side of the room. Let's see, how much paranormal activity has come along? Ray pondered.
The analysis begins to run around the building as the PKE boomerang's frequencies confirm speculations of the supernatural as it flashes its red light to signify the first hidden ghost at the second floor, a class level 3 elusive shapeshifter. The blue light flashes to indicates an active sample at the basement, ectoplasmic residue. The green light indicates a first paranormal anomaly occurred involving an unused crystal appearing out of nowhere and a second anomaly of a person from a different dimension appearing out of nowhere at the second floor. It flashes to red to indicate another hidden ghost, a class level 3 energy wraith, on the fifth floor and a third hidden ghost, a class level 4 cataclysmic vision, at the first floor. The last reading appears to be another active sample of a video tape smudged with red paint on the fourth floor.
"Dr. Spengler, we discovered three more ghosts involved in the incident. There are also sightings of paranormal anomaly and a few active samples adjacent the building grounds." Ray reported to him.
"Hmm, this doesn't look good comparing to the previous encounter. I recommend for you five to stay on your guard as you normally do; if it were to affect, it would formidably affect upon others." Dr. Spengler answered, and Slimer appears wearing a blue apron with the Ecto-cooler drink on the tray, "Thank you." He takes a sip of the ecto-cooler and then gapes at its pungent taste that expired two years ago, and he spits it on the lens accidentally and coughs. "Oh, whoa! Sorry about that!" Dr. Spengler wipes the lens with a napkin, "I forgot, these ecto-coolers have expired June 2018."
"Are you alright, Dr. Spengler?" Deborah asked him.
"Yes, I didn't read the label completely." Dr. Spengler responded, and Deborah receives a reading from her PKE meter app as a horde of bellhop poltergeists, 12 of them, wreaks havoc on the area.
"Doc, we have to call you back because we found ourselves trouble, bigger trouble." Young Egon responded, and he presses the red phone button to put the call on hold.
The young Ghostbusters and Deborah extract their ghostbusting weapons, and the first bellhop poltergeist glides to the ground and claws Deborah with its hands. Ray classifies the bellhop ghost as class level 2 malicious poltergeist with his Ecto-eyepiece. Winston dodges the ghost's spectral breath and uses his ghost trimmer to negate its ability. Ray fires his proton arrows at the second bellhop ghost to drain its energy and jumps to perform an air proton arrow. The first bellhop ghost summons a beam from its mouth at the crew, but Deborah deflects it with proton shield. The second bellhop ghost stuns Deborah with scare, and the third bellhop ghost scratches the young Egon with its fingernails. Young Peter zaps his particle beam to entrap the first bellhop poltergeist; young Egon extracts his particle thrower and blasts his proton stream to drag the bellhop poltergeist as Deborah tosses the trap to the ground. She steps on the pedal to open its doors as the two gentlemen slam the first bellhop poltergeist into the trap. The second bellhop poltergeist traumatized Deborah with scare, but she lashes the bellhop poltergeist with her proton whip and drags it to the ghost trap. Winston shreds the rest of the shriek balls with his ghost trimmer. Young Egon beckons the ghost to enclose on him, and the third bellhop poltergeist streams to lash its attack on him until the young Egon zaps the ghost's energy from behind and slams it to a wall. He presses the pedal with his left foot to open his custom-made ghost trap and retrieves it to capture the rest, and Deborah lashes her proton whip to force the ghost into the trap although it attempts to resist its strength until the young Ray fires his proton arrow at it to scatter away its psychokinetic energy.
Ray installs the numbers to summon one of his ecto-drones into the field; it appears in white and slime green as it zaps its proton stream on the fourth bellhop poltergeist, and it captures the ghost into its trap. Winston and Peter encircle on the fifth bellhop poltergeist as they entrap it, and Deborah glowers at the fifth bellhop poltergeist and lashes her proton whips until the battery is dead. She taps the whip to function its power until the fifth bellhop poltergeist lashes her from behind.
The battery is dead. It was working a while ago. How could it? Deborah pondered, and she notices the battery drain in the handle. She has no choice but to switch to her particle thrower, so she placed the proton streams back to her proton pack to recharge. She helps Winston and Peter capture the fifth bellhop poltergeist into the ecto-drone's ghost trap.
Young Egon dodges the sixth bellhop poltergeist's spectral breath, and he switches to his particle thrower and blasts his proton streams to nab the sixth bellhop poltergeist as the others encircle the adversary. The sixth poltergeist performs psychic to inhibit peter and shoves him to a wall. He shifts to the right to evade the spectral breath of the fiend. Peter blasts his stream to help him capture the ghost into the trap; Winston shreds the spectral breath beams as Deborah blasts her proton stream to drain its energy and drags the ghost into the trap. The seventh bellhop poltergeist summons a spectral wind to strike the young Ghostbusters members; the young Egon guards himself and the others with proton shield.
If only Dr. Spengler could've told me the whips are out of juice, then I would know it needs recharging. It is worse than our first annual water balloon fight because I was the first one to be beat by Venkman. Fortunately, I have my particle thrower as a replacement to exterminate these ghosts. Deborah deliberated.
Young Winston snatches the eighth bellhop poltergeist with his proton stream and slams it to a crippled wall.
Young Egon slips from the eighth bellhop poltergeist's attack and switches to his proton fist to punch the fiend in the abdomen and in the face, whisking it into the ghost trap, and young Winston hustles to assist the others. Young Ray somersaults from the ninth bellhop poltergeist's attacks and fires his proton arrow from his quiver; in addition, the proton beam discharges to cripple the ninth bellhop poltergeist's psychokinetic energy, wearying the ghost. Young Peter, Winston, and Deborah blast their proton streams to slam and capture it and sends it into the ghost trap. Young Ray prods the tenth bellhop poltergeist with his bow's upper limb and commands his ecto-drone to zap its proton streams to decrease its psychokinetic energy. It tends to crawl away from the proton streams, and they inflict damage to the tenth bellhop poltergeist as it drags the fiend into the trap. Deborah and her cousin encircle around the tenth bellhop poltergeist and slam it to a wall. Winston switches to his particle thrower and snatches the eleventh bellhop poltergeist, assisting Peter as they drag it to the ecto-drone's ghost trap. He dodges the twelfth poltergeist's plague hands and entraps it with his proton stream. It grows in exhaustion as the young Egon steps on the pedal to activate the ghost trap to drag it to the trap though it struggles to hold on to the chandelier until the four others blast their streams to force it to release.
"Now, Egon!" Deborah shouted, and her cousin performs a mighty proton punch to bash the ghost inside the ghost trap as he lands on his feet.
Young Ray's ghost drone disappears to store the ghosts it captured into the containment grid, and young Egon blows the smoke from his proton fist.
"I have to admit, these bellhop poltergeists have given us a warm yet eerie welcome." Deborah responded.
"I see your proton whips have run out of juice." Ray pointed out.
"Yeah, just to be clear. I was a fool to forgot to charge them before we leave." Deborah replied.
"Luckily, I install a charger to the proton pack. It is called the proton restorer; comparing to a smartphone, it allows your ghost hunting weapon to restore its energy and is capable to charge the weapon otherwise lesser proton power resembled in the system." Ray explained.
"Now we're talking." Winston grinned, turning his head to the others.
"Nice." Young Egon smiled.
"A proton restorer? A tool to charge our ghost weapons? Such an inept idea." Peter frowned, but Winston elbowed his chest forcing him to change his mind, "-- I mean it's a groovy idea."
"No one says groovy anymore." Deborah replied.
"Hey a few people do --especially geeks from our school." Young Peter jested.
"Thanks Ray, we might need these in case we ran out of proton energy from our weapons." Young Egon replied.
The young Ghostbusters hear Dr. Spengler calling as the young Egon answers him, and the screen fizzles to the control room of the Hook and Ladder firehouse.
"Yes?" Young Egon asked.
"That was an unpleasant welcome from the bellhop poltergeists you've captured moments ago. I wasn't sure what drag them here? By the way, Ray, did you explain to Deborah about the proton restorer you invented?" Dr. Spengler pointed out.
"I certainly did. Its capacity restores the accumulation of proton energy drained when its battery hits a flashing red or runs out of power. Therefore, the weapons will be capable of gaining its power from the proton pack in approximately 2 hours or so." Ray answered.
"I can tell," Dr. Spengler responded, massaging his chin, "try not to overuse it. This prototype costs more than you expect."
"Thank you for the warning, Dr. Spengler." his younger counterpart responded, and he ends his transmission with him.
Voices of the ghosts reverberate across the runic halls, and Deborah's valences from her PKE app begin to expand its numbers.
"There are seven floors, and the top floor is manifested by the Gloomy Painter himself and the third piece of the Gozerian scepter." Winston responded.
"So, what do we have to solve this profound case?" Deborah inquired.
"OK, let's split up into two teams. Deborah, you, Winston, and Ray examine the first and second floors and the basement. Peter and I will examine the third through sixth floors. That way, we can do a ton of damage." Young Egon responded.
"Sounds like my kind of bust." Peter smirked, patting the younger Egon on the shoulder as they ascend the staircase, leaving the three others alone to examine the first floor.
The young Ray sidles to the hallways with his bow in hand and analyzes the room with his ecto-eyepiece to foster ghosthunting; therefore, the purview of the first floor maniests malign spirits. A possessed artwork flutters its protuberant eyes, for the team realizes three bellicose ghosts are the leading proponents to the Gloomy Painter's scheme. As a result, it's a crux for the young Ghostbusters to take notice of.
The young ghostbusters and Deborah receive a new mission from Dr. Spengler relating to the third piece after collecting the second piece of the scepter and defeating the ghost of Empyr. Its energy manipulates the structural integrity of its conjoined pieces although they must track eight more pieces to gather them together. The ghost beacon indicates its occurrence as Dr. Spengler turns his chair to face the crew.
"Alright, I detected your next mission to retrieve the third piece of the scepter, and it is in the SoHo neighborhood. I received a call from one of the witnesses who seen the manifestation of Benjamin Barlowin the Gloomy Painter ghost, a class level 4 bi-dimensional apparition. I forgot to mention the third piece of the Gozerian scepter is located upstairs of the top floor." Dr. Spengler responded, "remember, if you witness any of the ghosts following his footsteps, it's wise to report any event occurred. Since we have two pieces now, the third piece of the scepter generates amount of quantum energy which is highly dangerous even for a human or semi-deity."
"You're saying the Gloomy Painter has the third piece in his grip?" Young Egon inquired.
"Indeed, we can analyze within these locations the rest of the pieces if we enable to marshal them. Young ones, your next mission is to capture the Gloomy painter. There, you can find the third piece of the Gozerian scepter at the top of the Suite." he answered, analyzing its power with his PKE meter.
"Now we have covered the surveillance footage of the incident. Let's head to the New Sussex Suite and check out the ghost." Young Egon responded, and the others understand their objective and exit with him to the Ecto-1.
"Egon and Saya, sitting in a tree, K I S S I N G!" Slimer teased him, and the young Egon becomes ticked with Slimer's behavior and slaps him thrice, "Owey! What was that for?"
"We are not in love; we're just friends, Slimer!" Young Egon jeered.
"Expression: amorous!" Slimer quipped, and young Venkman chortles of the notion and falls off his chair as young Egon catches him.
One of these days, Slimer will owe me for what he has. Young Egon thought.
"Back to the container, Slimer." Deborah glowered the green spud.
"Yes, ma'am." Slimer sighed, floating away to the container and rests his luminescent yellow eyes.
Young Egon activates the vehicle with his remote key as the ecto-1 switches on by itself, and the other young ghostbusters and he pack their ghost equipment. The older Egon crosses his arms together and lets out a deep sigh. The young Ghostbusters and Deborah hop on the Ecto-1, and the young Ray installs the location name on the GPS before the young Winston takes the wheel, proceeding to their destination.
Kids, these days they need to control themselves. Dr. Spengler thought.
The young Winston adjusts his side mirrors and pulls the lever to drive mode as the Ecto-1 drives to its destination. Young Ray switches on the ecto-siren for the vehicle, and Winston steers the wheel to the left-hand side of the road. The older Egon crosses his arms together with a false smile and returns to the control room feeling let down. Slimer roams to meet with him and watches him.
After visiting visions from his past encounter with a possessed Caridee in the hands of Vigo, the older Egon heads to the cemetery to visit the Mysterious CariDee's grave, where she was buried next to Lori Fischer, and picks up a bouquet of flowers from the gift shop. He approaches to her grave and bends on one knee; in addition, he drops off the bouquet even Slimer feels guilty of the tragic death of the young Ghostbusters' favorite paranormal instructor before Dr. Spengler took control. He didn't even chatted with Glenwich on the phone after breaking news on her demise by the hands of Vigo, so Egon decided to neglect his calls. Indeed, he quit his job after the young Ghostbusters and Deborah graduated early with their degrees and set to go their different ways. In retrospect, he admired her dedication since she became a part of the Spectral Exterminators. As a sole ghostbuster who stands guard of the Hook and Ladder firehouse with his pet ghost Slimer by his side, Dr. Spengler understood it is difficult to teach his five students whom he knew well to follow his footsteps. He places his right hand to her gravestone and lowers his head.
"CariDee, I understand raising Deborah and the young Ghostbusters to become better and edgier is difficult for a sole ghostbuster as myself to tackle. Choosing out of the young Ghostbusters to be the most responsible, my younger counterpart is the person I culled. I understand Glenwich is still furious about the loss; promise me this, always count on me or them on what we seek after. The truth is you're my first and only friend I have from the future who care about us, and I care about you." Dr. Spengler reasoned.
Slimer roams to the back of him with sadden eyes and arms dropped, and the older Spengler eases himself to his feet and leaves the cemetery to the firehouse after a subtle visit. He exhales the oxygen to appease the anxiety and returns to monitor the action. For these reasons, Vigo has tormented the Mysterious CariDee when Jacques Heinrich, a close associate to Hawkins and Hardemeyer, asks the doctors to have her institutionalized. Indeed, he wasn't happy with the order when his fellow ghostbusters and he visited her to endure on her physical condition before evaluating her mentality. After experiencing his flashback, Egon decides to leave his past behind and keeps a watch on the crew.
The Ecto-1 drives through a block on Lafayette street to search for the building; however, a ghost rumbled from the sections of the underground, leaving citizens appalled of its malefic presence. A manifestation bursts open the lid of the sewers as a ravenous horde of sewer ghosts, class level 3 sickle manifestations, emerges to wreak havoc on the area.
The citizens evacuate from the sight and into shelter, and a sewer ghost bursts open the fire hydrant as the other sewer ghost tosses its chained hook to scratch the victim's cheek. The third sewer ghost pops out of the cart, terrifying the male riding it.
Hmm, what is going on here? Could it be another round of ghosts? Young Egon pondered.
Deborah senses a lethal horde of ghosts wreaking havoc, fifteen of them, and Winston stops the vehicle for a moment to discover sewer ghosts roaming around.
"Shoot! These ghosts are terrorizing the citizens!" Winston exclaimed.
"More ghosts?!" Deborah queried.
"Finally, more action than the last time!" Peter hollered, springing from his seat.
"Peter, follow me outside of the ecto-1, we can trap these ghosts with the super slammer's turrets. Ray, summon one of your ecto-drones into the field. We need it to detect where its ghastly appearance has possessed." Egon commanded, and Peter attaches his proton minigun to his proton pack as young Egon adjusts his proton fist.
"Affirmative." Ray nodded, and he starts installing the first set of combinations.
The young Egon and Peter turn their heads to one another and exit the vehicle. Young Ray locks in the coordinates after installing the last set of combinations to summon an ecto-drone to the field, and young Egon extracts his particle thrower from his proton piece and fires his proton stream to snatch the first sewer ghost from behind. Deborah unbuckles her seat belt and opens the passenger door. She ducks her head from possessed paper crows and closes the door to join her cousin and Peter. The second sewer ghost glides to attack young Peter, but the proton cannons attached with the super slammer trap captures it to decrease its psychokinetic energy. Deborah exits from the Ecto-1 and extracts her proton whips from her proton pack, facing the ghosts. The second sewer ghost hurls its ooze from its mouth, but young Peter dodges the ghost's attack and blasts his proton streams from his proton mini-gun to drag the ghost into the super slammer. Young Egon dodges the hook and delivers a mighty proton punch to send the first sewer ghost into the super slammer trap. Winston drives the vehicle a bit, and Ray installs the coordinates to command his ecto-drone to locate the third sewer ghost using night vision mode. The ecto-drone detects its presence underneath an empty cart and zaps its proton streams to capture the third sewer ghost. The fourth sewer ghost glides toward Deborah, but she lashes her whip to summon a proton gash and performs air proton whip to blitz the sewer ghost. Peter tosses his ghost tacks to the ground to shun the ghost's psychokinetic energy, and he blasts his particle beam to drag the ghost into the super slammer. Winston installs the coordinates to initiate its attack sequence and summon the ecto-1's inner weapons including its hidden proton streams as Ray pans the periscope. The Ecto-1's proton blasters from its headlights zap the fourth sewer ghost's psychokinetic energy and drags it into the super slammer trap.
Deborah lashes her proton whips at the fifth sewer ghost, decreasing its psychokinetic energy, and drags it into the super slammer with her strength and assist from the ecto-drone and the proton turrets. Young Ray pans the periscope to note young Egon and Peter to catch it. The sixth sewer ghost glides and strikes young Peter with its hook but missed, and Venkman zaps a tri-beam to zap the sixth sewer ghost to drain its energy. Young Egon blitzes the seventh sewer ghost with a barrage of proton bolts from his proton fist, scattering away its psychokinetic energy, and he dodges the sixth sewer ghost's grappling hook and lashes a proton bolt at it from the back, whisking it into the super slammer trap. He switches to his particle thrower and blasts a proton stream to decrease its psychokinetic energy, dragging the ghost into the trap. The sixth sewer ghost struggles to resist the proton streams and counters with its ghastly hook. Young Egon dodges the hook and clobbers the ghost with his proton fist. Young Ray monitors the ecto-drone to blast its proton streams to drain its energy and drags it into the ghost trap. Deborah and Peter drag the seventh sewer ghost with their proton streams as they slam it to the ground, wearing out its energy, and shoves it into the super slammer.
Where is the ghost hiding at this time? If I can detect where it is hiding, then I will notice their stratagem. Young Peter pondered, and he discovers one of them in the sewers and blasts its proton streams to drain its energy.
The eighth sewer ghost tosses its hook straight toward Peter but missed. Ray's ghost drone blasts its streams under its master's command and hunches it to the ground and into the debris it has left in the sewers.
Deborah snatches the eighth sewer ghost and drains its accumulation of psychokinetic energy with her proton streams, and young Venkman lends an assist to her with his proton stream to drag the eighth sewer ghost into the super slammer trap. The ninth sewer ghost hurls its ectoplasm from its mouth at the young Egon, but he deflects its malicious attack and punches its shin and extends his arm to punch the fiend in the face. He zaps the ghost with his particle thrower at the ninth sewer ghost; on the other hand, the tenth sewer ghost lashes Deborah with its hook. Young Egon delivers a proton uppercut to the jawline, sending the ghost flying from the ground as he zaps his particle thrower to shove it along with the ninth sewer ghost into the super slammer. Ray's ecto-drone assists Deborah as they drain the eleventh sewer ghost's psychokinesis, yet the fiend struggles to resist the proton streams until young Egon cross-punches the eleventh sewer ghost in the face, fracturing its jawline and plunging it to the super slammer. The twelfth sewer ghost glides with its weapon in hand and lashes Deborah from the back, but young Egon delivers a protonic uppercut and zaps his proton stream from his particle thrower. Peter blasts his proton streams to capture the thirteenth sewer ghost, preventing it from escape, and he drags it close to the ghost trap though it tends to resist the streams as the proton turrets assist him to capture it. Deborah lashes her proton whip at the thirteenth sewer ghost and drags it into the super slammer. The ghost drone zaps the last two sewer ghosts with its proton streams as Ray pans the periscope to catch a view of the battlefield after clearing the area from the ghosts. In addition, it slams them into debris and to the super slammer. After capturing the sewer ghosts that wreck havoc in Lafayette street at the SoHo neighborhood, the young Egon tends the injure and returns to the Ecto-1. Deborah feels pain in her left shoulder after being hit with the grappling hook, and Peter turns his head to fix a facial expression toward her. Ray's ghost drone disappears to store the ghosts into the containment unit for Dr. Spengler to value its number. Winston deactivates the weapon systems for the Ecto-1 and switches on the vehicle by pressing the button when compressing the gas pedal to boost the vehicle forward. He pulls the lever to drive mode so they can reach their destination in collecting the third piece of the Gozerian scepter.
"Let me see the wound real quick." Peter suggested, but Deborah pushes his head with her index finger.
"Peter, I'm fine." Deborah sighed.
"You don't seem fine to me." he frowned.
"I said, 'I'm fine.' What part of it you do not understand." Deborah repeated.
"Peter, leave Deborah alone. You know it's only a wound." Winston jeered.
"It is a size of a coconut, Winston. Unlike time being hit by one of the spectral arrows, this is a splatter over here from the tip to the bottom." Peter jested.
"Peter, the wound will be gone when the ghost was, in fact, captured into the super slammer." Deborah huffed.
"Gentrification levels are practically clear when apprehending the sewer ghosts into the super slammer and residents of Lafayette street won't have to worry on these ghosts wreaking havoc any longer. Our first actual contact via vehicle we have in a year. Technology advances in the modern world pays sufficiently." Ray asserted.
"Sufficiently, as recommended." Young Egon nodded, and he straps in his seat belt as Winston receives a call from Dr. Spengler.
"Doc, we have captured the sewer ghosts wreaking havoc in Lafayette street." Winston called him from broadcast as he appears on screen alongside Slimer.
"That's wonderful. I visited Caridee's grave at the New York cemetery a while ago. I explained to her on Glenwich and how much you have grown. If only she were here, CariDee would understand we have carried out our destiny." The older Egon replied.
"Still thinking about her?" Young Egon inquired.
"Indeed, I have." he answered.
"You missed her a lot when we departed our own ways, and we made our career choices outside of the corps for two years that we forgotten about who we stand for. It's like we are back from the dead; doc, do you realize why we come a long way? To tell you the truth, I missed these memories of us capturing ghosts together. I've missed you." Deborah sighed.
"I've missed you, too, Deborah out of the others." Older Egon expressed.
"I was waiting for this moment to--" Deborah confessed, but she glares at Venkman.
"Look at this wound she has. It is the size of a coconut waiting to be drink from a coconut tree, and it has--!" Venkman jested until Deborah clobbers him, leaving bruises and scratch marks on his face.
"One more word about my shoulder wound, and I'll throw you into the sewer pit!" Deborah declaimed with her left hand open and close simultaneously.
Some things may not change between these two. Older Egon thought.
"If we enable to retrieve the third piece of the Gozerian scepter, even if his minions attempt on their assault, the probabilities would become more transpiring depending on how much energy consumed beyond its current position." Ray reckoned.
"We are arriving at the New Sussex Suite in 2 minutes, so we're giving the information to you as possible on our adversary." Young Egon responded.
"Splendid." Dr. Spengler nodded.
Why did she do this to me? Venkman whimpered.
"Quit your clowning and buckle up!" Deborah exclaimed to Peter.
That's the Deborah I remembered. Young Egon thought.
Winston drives the Ecto-1 to the street taking a beeline to its destination where he and the kids will meet with their fate.
Young Egon attaches the second piece to the first piece as his older counterpart recommended, and they hear audio recordings of their encounters including the one young Egon face with the banshee. He places the left headphone to hear the audio as Ray presses the play button. Inwardly, the crew realizes a hidden message confirm in their case of the scepter's connection with the aftermath of Shandor's uproar.
"First off, before I get serious, why did you attack me?" The voice of the younger Egon called to the ghost on audacity.
The voice uttered the word, 'Shandor!' to the recorder, and the team notices the term they received from their encounter. Dr. Spengler pushes his round glasses up to hark clues coordinated with Shandor's plot.
"Yep, that's Shandor's doing, all right." Peter pointed out.
"Let's hear the second recording." Deborah responded, "I know we are familiar with our ghostly witness mentioned."
"Can you tell me where was Empyr when you last seen him?" They hear young Egon's voice interviewing the ghost of Miriam.
Pavilion... the ghost whispered to the speaker.
"She said she wanted us to go to the knight's pavilion where we found Peter and Ray confronting a lethal horde of ghostly archers. She confirmed Empyr has trailed to the bottom of the lobby toward the sub-basement." Deborah pointed out.
"And into the ghost world." Ray recited her response.
"Does it have a sincere connection with the scepter itself?" The older Spengler inquired.
"Negative; on the contrary, it is deemed the only source pertaining to its biblical power confirms within the neighborhood." Ray answered.
"Why Ivo Shandor wanted to subdue the Gozerian scepter's power in his hands?" Deborah inquired.
"After the last lunar eclipse, Ivo Shandor shattered the Gozerian scepter into pieces and vowed not to wield its tremendous power. Therefore, he interred the scepter in the sand. Archaeologists, today, discovered the Gozerian scepter within the tomb of Shandor, and it was transported to the same museum we confronted the custodian ghost. Zakudir was sent to seek its formidable power to plot not just the end of the world as we envisioned but the ghost world will cross to our world." Dr. Spengler answered.
"We can see it. Thank you, Dr. Spengler." Deborah responded.
Dr. Spengler nods his head and exits to the control room in pursuit of paranormal analysis. Young Winston scrolls down the webpage of the ghostbusters website.
"So far, our ghost bust since 2 years is now at its pinnacle and Venkman has created a logo for the firehouse." Winston responded.
"Perhaps we could gather more data from more paranormal events; checking on metaphysical activity lingering nearby and, oh, I noticed his artwork." Deborah scoffed.
Ray wipes away the sweat from his forehead after making a few adjustments to his own proton pack for observation; by the same token, he boosts its thrust capacity to 30% to prevent constant tissue damage.
Later, after hearing recordings from their ghostly encounters, Young Peter designs a logo with Adobe Illustrator, and he draws the no-ghost sign with sunglasses, smoking a cigarette, and wielding two proton pistols.
"Hey guys, I design this logo on Adobe Illustrator, and it is dope." Young Peter smirked, and the others seem concern of his artistic skills.
"Why is the no-ghost logo having a cigar?" Young Egon questioned him.
"I just wanted to make it more like a badass even with the heart tattoo on its left arm." Young Peter pointed out.
"Peter, the artwork you created packs with I sincerely insensitive material which affects the mentality of the minor, debauching the name of the company with obscene imagery, in which criticize the congregation of its corporation. In other words, I find this image the worst thing that would besmeared our image." Young Ray recited.
"I agreed with Ray, isn't it too violent to be our new official ghostbusters logo?" Deborah inquired.
"OK, fine. It's too much absurdity of this image, so no badass guns; no heart tattoo nor cigarette; you know the shades are for it to keep and the smirk." Young Peter frowned, making adjustments to the ghostbusters logo.
"I'm going to take a walk for a while." Young Egon responded.
"Egon, wait. I'm going with you." Deborah called.
"Deborah, I suggest you let Egon have his moment." Winston suggested and he hears the firehouse door close as the young Egon walks by himself to relieve the tension from his first mission after two years.
Young Egon sits on the bench and crosses his legs together, and he starts to reflect on the moments he experienced after their last ghost bust. He lowers his head in disappointment and closes his eyes to cogitate on his past and future.
The first time I wanted to return to reunite with my old team members has me wondering why I have forgotten about who I stand for. Is it the fact we capture Thelma, the adversary who kidnapped Juliet, into the ghost trap before she managed to destroy us? Is it the reason she attributed her work to Ivo Shandor? The person I used to be was indeed a diligent person who prospered and risked it all. Since I'm a grown man, I am taking responsibilities in my research as a paranormal investigator to note where Shandor has plotted his move with Zakudir on the rise. I came out of puberty for this? How the hell I would recommend of it? I vow not to think of this one coming to the range. Young Egon thought, lowering his head in frustration.
"Perhaps you should bethink on your career." A feminine voice called to him, and the young Egon turns his head to a golden blonde-haired Japanese girl wearing a simple white patted dress with a loose silk sweater. She sits down next to him, sharing a cunning smile, and young Egon gazes into her brown eyes.
"Saya Takimata of the Yokai busters, what are doing around the park?" Young Egon inquired the Japanese girl.
"I generally visit there, and it is definitely my favorite place to be for a hang out. You are the one who is able to speak with the dead and confront with them, and your frustration leaves you with no sense of persuasion. Egon, didn't I mentioned that I learned more of the supernatural as you do?" Saya asked him.
"That's not what you said to me." he commented.
"I understand how you feel, Egon. Now where's the noble ghost hunter expression like from back in my home in Tokyo?" Saya teased him, curling his lock of auburn hair.
"Saya, you do know how to make a paranormal expert feel better." Young Egon smirked, "you know group is back together after two years?"
"Ghostbusters?" she inquired.
"Yeah, how did you figure it out?" Egon questioned with his eyes gaped in surprise.
"It's all over social media. You guys devoted yourselves to capture these malevolent ghosts haunting the city and state of New York and drove away Gozer the Gozerian. You also freed Deborah from the hands of Shan Sax and met your older counterpart Dr. Spengler during the Crymson incident. Besides, you are still wearing your ghostbusters logo." she pointed out, and young Egon glances at it with his face florid.
"You also devoted yourself to capture every Yokai wreaking havoc in Japan; I still don't have a clue on--" young Egon responded, and Saya places her index finger to appease his conversation.
"I adored your paranormal studies and everything about you." Saya smiled, standing from the bench even an easily flustered young Egon notices his studies.
"So, you love me for what I do best and it's my devotion of the paranormal." he responded.
"It sure is. First time you tackle a ghost outside of the group is at around my home in Mie, and confronting my first ghost makes me want to learn more of the paranormal because my life and time being. I admired your work." Saya smiled, and young Egon grows fond as his cell phone buzzes knowing he needs to return to the firehouse.
"Sorry about that." Young Egon sighed.
"Are you on patrol?" Saya asked him with a sadden frown.
"We'll talk about it another time." Young Egon answered, and he leaves the New York park to return to the Hook and Ladder firehouse.
The young Egon notices a phantom robber escaping with the money, and he readies his ghost trap to capture the adversary and steps on the pedal to activate the ghost trap. The phantom robber falls into the trap and drops the bag of money, and the young Egon returns it to the police officers.
"The robber you encounter is a class level 4 elusive shade, a real one indeed." Young Egon responded.
"Thank you, young ghostbuster." one of the officers responded skeptically as the young Egon carries the ghost trap with his hand.
Saya Takimata, an aspired paranormal investigator from Japan came her way to New York to document her paranormal research. Does she has what it takes to be a part of the ghostbusters crew? Will our group associate with its sister group? I will accept her invitation if we wanted the team to expand no matter the causes. Young Egon thought.
Meanwhile, back at the firehouse, young Peter plays pool with Winston as Ray makes final adjustments to Deborah's proton pack before Dr. Spengler confirms to them their incoming assignment. Slimmer roams around the basement watching the others cherishing their break as Dr. Spengler analyzes the scepter's structure on the hologram. Deborah fixes Peter's illustration for the new ghostbusters logo. Ray lifts up his working goggles and wipes the sweat from his forehead.
"Since we have the second piece of the Gozerian scepter from the Claro Manor, it means the rest of the pieces might be in the city of New York." Ray pointed out.
"And that's the problem we are facing." Winston replied, and he hits the cue ball with his cue stick to separate the billard balls.
"So what these ghosts manage to inhibit us from putting together the scepter's pieces and prevent Ivo Shandor from Armageddon." Peter quipped, hitting the cue ball with his cue stick to hit the number 1 cue ball into the hole.
"Peter, we must do what we can to solve this case. Dr. Spengler appointed us to gather them all before Ivo Shandor realizes our every move." Deborah pointed out.
"Hey, at least I don't take orders from a woman." he added.
"Well, you shouldn't have." Deborah stated.
"Well, you shouldn't have." Slimer repeated, and he does a little dance to distract Peter.
"Slimer, can you quit distracting my focus?" Peter demanded.
"See, even Slimer agrees with my statement." Deborah grinned.
"Password and identification." the computer voice called to the person after scanning his appearance and reveals his DNA to the scanner.
"Ghost asylum." a male voice disclosed the password.
"Access approved, welcome to the basement." her voice responded as the basement's platform doors open to reveal the younger Egon returned from his walk to the park.
"So, how was your walk?" Winston asked, and Deborah's lips form a caring smile.
"I feel better after the stress I gained from our last ghostly encounter." Egon answered, and he installs the phantom robber whom he captured into the containment unit.
"And by better, you mean sentimentally better or actively motivated to tackle more of them." Peter pointed out.
"Constantly better." he answered, and he sits in the stool adjacent their personal bar.
"Wait, you were saying you spotted someone else from the classroom you knew." Peter pointed out with perspiration.
"Oh guys, why would I think of doing it in front of you? I wasn't talking about Maya, or Saya, what ever you like to prefer." Young Egon responded.
"Who is Saya?" Winston inquired him.
"I know who Saya is," Ray responded, and he lends the laptop from Deborah's hands and types her name on the search bar, "here it is, Saya Takimata. She is a member of a team known as the Yokai Busters, located in Tokyo, Japan. She has captured her first yokai, a mujina, for her studies of the paranormal connects with their alignment. A couple years ago, she met principal Glenwich at a convention in the Tokyo Dome. In addition, she experienced demonic presences from her past lurking in her home. She called a bishop to exorcise its presence from tormenting any more of her relatives, and they successfully drove it away from it. She traveled from Japan to New York, sharing her stories about her paranormal experiences."
"I met her at the park a while ago, and I was satisfied with her motivation. She understands my history and my connection with you." Young Egon replied.
"Egon got a girlfriend!" Slimer teased, "Egon and Saya, sitting in a tree. K I S S I N..." Peter grabs Slimer by the ear and drags him to his face.
"Nobody is talking to you, spud." Peter responded with a ticked expression.
"Ow, G." Slimer frowned, rubbing his greasy ear to relieve the pain.
"If Saya came to New York in pursuit of her dream of understanding and communicating with the paranormal, what is your first impression of her?" Deborah questioned her cousin.
"She gleams into my eyes and her cheeks were blushing rosy pink. I feel a light brightening away my inner darkness." Young Egon answered.
"I see." she responded.
"Young Ghostbusters, please report to the control room." the female computer's voice of the firehouse ordered the young Ghostbusters.
"It appears our second case is located in the Soho neighborhood where we discovered a dramatic house decline after the Second World War. Many artists believe their apartment building is haunted by a demonic presence in the New Sussex Suite located near Greene street. One of the students residing there has seen seen paintings destroyed, and I discovered a sample of this on the ground." Dr. Spengler responded, revealing a canvas shredded by the ghost as the young Ghostbusters gasp at the damage it made.
"Ooh, I guess someone is an art hater." Peter guessed.
"More specifically, the ghost never wanted any competition because none of the spectators afforded his work until his demise." Young Ray pointed out.
"If these scratch marks were the cause, why did it leave a ton of damage?" Young Egon inquired.
"Not only the canvases are torn when an aspired student worked on his/her masterpiece awaiting to be displayed, but the ghost splat acrylic paint to send a lethal message to the students." Winston replied.
"I'm glad I didn't go to art school, but this paranormal sighting screams ghost all over it." Deborah commented.
"Exactly, with this said, I'll play for you the footage that happened when the ghost demolished the finished pieces of one of the students on campus." Dr. Spengler responded as he clicks the play button to start the video caught on surveillance of last night.
An invisible entity scratches the canvas of a female student's work with its fingernails, leaving damage around it. Deborah recognizes the female student wearing a grey sweatshirt and denim jeans, and she wears a loose bun to keep the acrylic paint from her hair.
"It's Margot Reilly." Deborah pointed out.
"You know her?" Young Egon asked.
"Yes, she was in my music class sophomore year." Deborah answered.
"What is she doing at the suite?" Winston inquired.
"She wants to become a better artist. After she applied for Columbia University, I wished her the best on her road to receiving a degree in liberal arts." Deborah answered.
A student grows in shock when noticing her ruined work, and she contacts her friend knowing of an entity lurking at the exhibit. In addition, the footage skips to Margot discovering the rest of her artworks shredded and feels a cold hand touching her. She ambles away from the scene of the incident until voices echo through the hallways, and the canvas moves itself away from the easel. Margot gawks at a flying canvas and acrylic paint splats over the walls and screams from the manifestations, running for her life. Suddenly, a manifestation of the ghost raids on his ghostly attack on Margot as Dr. Spengler paused the surveillance footage and turns to the young Ghostbusters.
"And that's how it happened? The students from Columbia University witnessed this horrific tragedy of one of their own whose career influences others at his threshold of his own." Dr. Spengler answered.
"So, did you speak to one of them on the phone?" his younger counterpart questioned him.
"Certainly, one of her classmates whom I didn't remember her name." Dr. Spengler answered.
Destroyed paintings? Acrylic paint tubes floating themselves? Paint squirts on walls? A warning to students? A ghost of a gloomy artist whose sole purpose is to degrade others' works at his threshold. It must be a hint to the third piece Dr. Spengler will mention. As for the ghost, I will seek his persuasion through if he tries. Young Egon thought, and his lips form to a determined smile.
The Young Ghostbusters witness a runic elevator that takes them to the sub-basement where they will meet with Empyr, the ghost who is responsible for the murders of innocent people who refused his fair share. In addition, Ray gathers data of the spirits wandering in the area.
The structural integrity of this oddly shaped elevator consists of residual hauntings in every form; it is most likely to drag the five of us into the ghost world, and my prediction of this case study appears to be at its practical point. Ray thought.
It closes its rusted obsidian doors, and it descends to the sub-basement. Young Ray verifies in his ecto-eyepiece spectral analysis pertaining to its integrity, and Deborah reaches for the buttons until an elevator halts them abruptly as young Egon verifies anomaly. Sparks from the elevator burst from the exterior, for it rails downward nonstop, and their screams echo from the falling elevator.
"Ray, shut it down!" Young Egon barked.
"Endeavoring, Egon!" Young Ray shouted, and the lights power out when a spark lashes the control.
"What are we going to do now!?!" Deborah screamed.
"Venkman, you have three grappling hooks, right?" Young Egon asked him.
"Yes, I packed them just in case!" Young Peter shouted.
"Give one to Winston, another to me and one for yourself!" Young Egon exclaimed, and the young Peter quickly passes the grappling hooks to Winston and young Egon.
"Grab onto me, Ray!" Young Winston ordered, and the young Ray clenches to him.
"Hold onto me Deborah, I got you!" Young Egon replied, and his cousin grabs onto the rope as the five young Ghostbusters escape from the falling elevator as it crashes into the sub-basement floor.
Left with debris, the young Ghostbusters members clench onto the ropes, and they land on their feet to discern the architectural substance from the elevator itself, leading them to the ghost world. As they descend to the ground, they discover themselves in an abandoned tower in a cross-dimensional portal that takes them to the alternate version of the Claro Manor. The skies were darken and borders encircle everywhere. Young Ray activates his ecto-eyepiece to monitor paranormal activity within the region. The elevation of the area rises through the sediment.
"Sweet marshmallows!" Deborah gasped, discerning the integrity of the ghost world.
"It appears the elevator has flash us to the ghost world based on my ecto-eyepiece's database. Its concentration consists of formidable forces of class level 5 to 7 abnormal entities emerging from its intangible surfaces and... floating boulders." Ray stated.
"We are way down below when that elevator shot us downward." Winston responded.
"So, that's what Dr. Spengler told us of the second piece of the scepter that is here." Young Egon replied.
"Next time, we are taking the stairs." Young Peter suggested, and he brushes the dust from his white tank top and jacket.
"What a terrifying fall with the elevators." Deborah responded, "I suggest we call for help." Deborah contacts base, "doc, are you here? Come in, doc!" There's no response in her iPhone; nonetheless, the world could have supplied with better communication, "signal loss."
"Looks like it's up to us. Let's collect the second piece of the scepter and finish this." Young Egon responded.
The crew exits the spot where the elevator has taken the members; in addition, the kids experience a possible paranormal impact driving for centuries to come. Most likely, this is where they will meet with their encounter before claiming the second piece of the scepter.
"If it wasn't for these grappling hooks, then we could've been seriously hurt." Young Egon replied.
"Hey guys, get a load of this! A piece in which illuminates amount of energy." Winston pointed out, and the others and he realize the second piece of the scepter.
"Ray, what is the probability of our enemy enclosing in?" Young Egon questioned him, tightening his proton fist.
"Closer than we can expect." Ray surmised, justifying his ecto-eyepiece to confirm the fiend's appearance.
"If we are silent, then we can take the second piece of the Gozerian scepter without Empyr noticing." Peter suggested, and he sneaks to a crippled chamber of spectral light which contains its residual power.
Suddenly, a manifestation lurks from the peak of the second floor, for a male figure, described to be a greedy, arrogant, elder ghost wearing a grey striped business suit with a fur cape, holding cash in his left hand and his weapon in his right. He tilts his top hat to fix a glare on the ground and descends through the floor. The malevolent figure emerges from the wall in front of the young Ghostbusters.
"Are you the wealthy serial killer Empyr, the class level 4 or 5 full-torso apparition ghost whom Miriam mentioned?" Winston asked the male apparition.
"I am, indeed. You five are the reason you undo my work for my client, and fortunately, your road is about to end here." Empyr answered.
"Why did you killed these victims?" Young Egon accused him.
"They lack their fair share on property taxes and refuse to take their orders, so I killed everyone and leave their bodies hang. Soon, everyone in New York will suffer the same fate, and I have to watch them die." Empyr answered, and he twirls his stick to summon a wave of green spectral energy at the young Ghostbusters.
"Why you?! This is one mistake you made when it comes to your criminal record!" Young Egon boomed, dashing toward the ghost and delivers forceful blows.
Young Egon dodges the ghost wave of the fiend and throws a barrage of proton punches at Empyr in the face; in addition, the adversary duplicates himself to surround the young Ghostbusters members. Ray projects his ecto-eyepiece to confirm his spectral abilities; in addition, analysis indicates on his motives. Young Peter blasts his proton minigun at the ghost, and young Winston shreds the duplicate with his ghost trimmer. Deborah strikes the ghostly duplicate with her proton whips and eliminates the ghost. Young Ray locks in the coordinates to summon his ghost drone from the upstairs compartment as it appears in Ray's command. It targets the clones until it discovers the real Empyr confronting their friend Egon.
"Everyone, the real Empyr is the one confronting Egon." Young Ray responded.
"The real Empyr is up there with Egon?" Deborah questioned in bewilderment.
"This ghost is getting on our nerves right now! I say we get him good!" Peter raged.
"Yeah, man! We have confronted his ghosts, and now it ends." Winston agreed, and young Peter blasts the last of the duplicates with his proton minigun's firepower.
The young Egon glowers at the adversary for his schemes after delivering three forceful blows, and Empyr scrapes the blood from his bottom lip.
"You're a nuisance to my humble home, aren't you?" Empyr smirked.
"Duplication and spectral beams via weapon? I must admit, you're not like other ghosts there." Young Egon commented.
"Indeed I am, boy. I can summon exact copies of myself to corner your crew members' attempts. The clones will corner their move, and they won't figure out which of them is the real me. With these spectral powers, I can use them to hunt down any human being who entered my manor." Empyr smirked.
"Interesting, but I daresay in the first part my friends catching duplicates, you mentioned about the others on tackling them. Tell me why is Shandor pulling your strings?" Young Egon inquired.
"What do you mean?" he questioned.
"I know your critical thoughts there. Is it the fact you were tending to agree with Shandor's doing? You were incompetent to share with me your response there. Following this further, where was Shandor when you heed his order? What is his game? Where the hell is he heaving up?" Young Egon demanded.
"You want answers, I will give you then!" he roared, and he dashes to him in anger.
Empyr charges at the young Egon with his weapon, but he dodges his sweeps and extends his arm to blight his neck muscles with his proton energy from his proton fist, sending the fiend flying from his sight until he jumps back to his feet, taunting young Egon.
Grr... this guy is playing his mind games on me even the others predict his every move. Young Egon thought.
The other young Ghostbusters hustle to the spot where they find their friend although the halls begin to elongate when hustling, and young Egon glares at the adversary. He dashes toward him and throws his proton fist to the face, and Empyr shares a malicious smirk to him. Young Egon nearly loses his nerve when confronting him, and Empyr crosses his arms together.
"Is it just us or is it we cross through the same room?" Young Winston asked.
"Winston, it's not the same room. Our adversary's tricks are playing on us, and the walls appear to be increasing." Deborah answered.
"Initially, these gladitorial walls are made up of negatively affected energy, in which manifests with drastically balanced spectral power attributed to the ghost world." Ray pointed out.
I doubt this could've been worse than Terrance's fight with our pal. Young Peter thought, and Deborah answers a message from Dr. Spengler but no response still.
"Such a worthless individual who can match my power. No more mortal as yourself ever touch me beyond the limit. Once the people of New York will suffer their share fate with the powers of the scepter, you won't reverse the effects. The sound of master Shandor's awakening will reign on thousands of the innocent souls in this world will be under my grasp. Your fate will be a swift one." Empyr smirked.
"I understand your point there, but I'm not satisfied with your proposal." Young Egon acknowledged.
"My, you have understood it all. I was so anxious to catch a response from a pitiful ghost hunter." he smirked, but young Egon generates protonic energy from his proton fist to aim for the fiend as Empyr's smirk slips to a frown, "we have talked about it half dozen times."
"I may have missed six times on you, but this time, you won't be haunting these people any longer. In that case, I will erase you from this world!" Young Egon's voice snapped, adjusting his proton fist and launches its protonic wave towards Empyr, and its tremendous amount of energy scatters around him to inflict damage.
The other young Ghostbusters manage to escape from the elongated walls surrounding them to reach for their fellow ghostbuster in combat against the adversary. Young Peter points his proton minigun to aim for the adversary with accumulation of proton streams; Deborah cracks her proton whips to face against the adversary. Winston switches on the ghost trimmer, and Ray pulls the string from his bow to aim for the adversary as his ecto-drone generates its proton streams awaiting to blast the ghost.
"You can't be serious!" Empyr gasped in aghast.
Young Egon tosses the ghost trap into the ground, and Empyr shoots a glare at the trap. Deborah lashes her whip at Empyr and thrusts him to the ground and the walls, leaving debris on the walls. Empyr animates bricks with his stick and points at the young ghostbusters, and Peter blasts his proton streams to shatter the bricks. Young Ray fires his proton arrow at the animated bricks and rolls to the side. Young Winston shreds the other ghostly brick with his ghost trimmer, and a furious young Egon extracts his particle thrower from his proton pack and blasts the particle beam to capture Empyr and drain most of his psychokinetic energy. He steadies the particle thrower's energy to drag the fiend to his knees; young Egon strides to a quivering Empyr.
"You thought bringing the end of the world would beatify Ivo Shandor in his name and favor. Now you have started to get it out of hand." Young Egon snapped, "you honestly believe Shandor would condone your doing by murdering everyone including your own maid?"
"Please, spare me. I'll do anything!" Empyr begged, and he uses his red to lash a spectral wave at him.
Young Egon dodges it and lands on his feet swiftly even the other young ghostbusters were enthralled by his abilities, "you are scared, aren't you?"
The young Egon charges at the adversary and delivers a mighty proton punch to the face, fracturing his facial structure.
"Now, everyone!" Young Egon fumed.
The other young ghostbusters have no choice but to drag the adversary into the ghost trap by weakening his energy. Young Egon steps on the pedal to open the ghost trap as the others start to bring him inside to the trap. Therefore, the young Ghostbusters entrap Empyr into the ghost trap, and young Ray picks up the second piece of the Gozerian scepter to survey its mystical energy. It zaps the crew back to the lobby of the manor, and the sky became clear after releasing the thunder storm. Young Winston tilts his head to survey voices fading from the manor.
"We got him!" Peter shouted, lifting the ghost trap with his right arm.
"It's over." Winston responded.
"Yeah, it was a rough encounter indeed." Deborah nodded, and she receives a signal coming from the base as the young ghostbusters and she exit from the Claro Manor with Empyr inside the ghost trap. Deborah tilts her head to the sky as the sun rises, "look at the sun."
"I know Deborah, it's a glorious sunrise." Winston smiled.
Young Venkman covers his mouth from yawning and stretches his muscles, "looks like I going to need some shut eye when we return to the firehouse."
"Deborah, come in. Can you hear me?" a man's voice called to Deborah's iPhone.
"Dr. Spengler, we captured Empyr and claim the second piece of the Gozerian scepter." Deborah called to him, bringing fantastic news to him.
"That's great. Report back to the firehouse so I can attach the second piece with the first." Dr. Spengler ordered her and ended his transmission.
"You heard him, guys. Back to the firehouse we go." she smirked, and the boys and she approach to the ecto-1 for a long drive back.
Later, at the firehouse, the young Egon installs the ghost trap to transfer the ghosts his team and he captured during their first mission. The containment grid completes its transfer as it empties the ghost trap.
"And good riddance." Young Egon frowned, turning his back on the ghost.
Young Venkman drags the mouse to draw a line with a soft brush on Adobe illustrator; young Winston sets up the wiring to hear the audio from their case.
"Dr. Spengler would be pleased with us after our two-year hiatus that we captured our first class level 4 full-torso apparition." Deborah smiled, and Winston nods his head agreeing with his response.
"I could imagine the state of New York believing our paranormal stories. I supposed principal Glenwich if he were here would be limpid to see our paranormal experiences evolved." Winston nodded.
"Slimer, can you pass me the drill over there next to the ruler? I'm adjusting our proton packs for our incoming assignment. Thank you." Ray pointed out, and Slimer passes him the drill as Ray takes it from his greasy hand and adjusts the screws for its composition. He glances at the ectoplasmic residue in his left lab glove, "wasn't expecting this form of ectoplasmic residue on a hardware supply before."
"Tell me when we will hear these recordings?" Deborah queried.
"OK guys, the audio system for our computer is now online." Winston responded, and the four others huddle around their friend to listen to the recordings from their ghostly encounter at the Claro Manor.
At the knight's pavilion in the upper corridors of the Claro Manor after encountering ghostly knights, Ray and Peter explore the entire exhibit for any supernatural suspicions. The exhibit is embellished with medieval artifacts and manikins portrayed the historical figures who participated in the events of the war. By the same token, they will likely to face a potential phenomenon lurking within the armory. On the contrary, lesser spirits emerge at the fraction of the building, for the negative energy developed in the story comprises of lectures pertaining to Mesopotamian culture. Indeed, no mission could confound the Young Ghostbusters for a period.
"Ray, remember when we first met the past version of Dr. Spengler back in 2018?" Peter inquired.
"Certainly, you were trying to be the center of attention in which degrades knowledge of our probabilities of encounter Crymson. Above all, tackling with the case appeared to be more problematic prior to lester proof of Crymson's plot. Apparently, we found no particular evidence linked with the enemy, for Thelma managed to get away with mostly every possession including the time when we are fixing Juliet." Young Ray responded, and Venkman takes a flashback of the moment Dr. Spengler confronted a mud monster to save Deborah's life as he tackled with rebuilding Juliet.
"Come here, I'm sorry!" Dr. Spengler apologized.
A swarm of bees stung Venkman as he ran from them and slipped on the mud, and the others shared their laughter toward him.
His flashback ended as his nostrils huffed and knits his eyebrows a bit in frustration. Indeed, he vows not to remember the bee stings he suffered during his trip.
"You know being stung by bees makes me not wanting to return to the arboreal environment." Venkman frowned.
"Perhaps you were garrulous on your hunt for Crymson when Thelma was on the run, leaving barely with no forms of answer leading to our case." Ray stated.
"Me? Garrulous? As if?" he scoffed.
"Frankly, your scoffing leaves you with no common freedom." Ray insisted, and he ambles away to decipher paranormal sightings in the exhibit.
"If it was the case--" Venkman frowned, with his arms akimbo and hustles to join Ray.
"Would you mind collect any samples of residue within this hall?" he offered him, passing a portable container to him so he will analyze any residual sightings including ectoplasmic residue.
The young Peter takes the transparent container and follows him to note any forms of apparitions creeping them from behind. Young Ray and young Peter scrutinize for clues linked with its artful effect.
No sightings of the paranormal when we agreed with Egon to cover the upper corridor floors. The encounter with the ghostly knights emulates a sign of paranoia connected with the world of Gozer. I need to understand the Gozerian scepter's impact on Ivo Shandor on the night of the lunar eclipse. Could it be a fate to humanity? Does it apply to the city of New York? Arbitrary though research needs to be disclosed. Ray thought.
Young Ray ambles to verify potential threat coordinated in the gladitorial halls, and his analysis from his ecto-eyepiece substantiates the outcome of the encounter. By the same token, the two boys experience another feeling of the dread enclosing within the floors. Young Peter hears a creak at the door, and the wind blows away the flames from the candelabra. His auburn eyes gape when noticing its intense chill in the room, and intensely cacophonous voices of hidden ghosts increase to taunt the duo. Ray's ecto-eyepiece indicates a manifestation resembled at its drastic nature, and young Peter uses a ghost sniffer from his backpack to detect a hidden ghost. Indeed, its signal begins to sound in from its corner.
Young Ray hears an incoming message from Dr. Spengler and answers it, "Dr. Spengler, any luck on what our third node might be?"
"Not yet. The last node might be hiding behind either of these sets of medieval armor. I talked to Deborah moments ago, so if you see either her, my younger counterpart, or Winston, note to me." The older Egon informed them.
"Agreed, we can meet up for our encounter with the adversary himself." Ray nodded, projecting the focus knob from his ecto-eyepiece to verify its existence using interface.
Another round of ghostly knights. This is one less encounter leaving me speechless. Peter thought.
Young Ray receives a PKE reading from his ecto-eyepiece to detect for any possible ghost sighting within the perimeter. Young Peter puts away his ghost sniffer and loads his proton minigun. As he adjusts the knob to disclose further analysis of the room, a crack occurs on the wall fraught with ectoplasmic residue, revealing details leading to more ghost problems prior to its limitless numbers. In addition, it induces a feeling of supernatural in the area prior to a number of ghosts. Eyes of deceased people in impressionist paintings eye on their action; in fact, they perceive their intent. Suddenly, a headless knight in black armor blocks the sylvan door and extracts its sword from its sheath and rambles away from the hallways with its demonic steed. A malevolent horde of ghostly knights, 5 of them, rises as the ghosts animate them. Young Ray receives a reading from his ecto-eyepiece of the class level 4 bio-anthropomorphic animator, scattering its range. The first ghostly knight attempts to make the first blow, but Ray blocks its attack with proton shield and fires his proton arrow to weaken its psychokinetic energy; in contrast, the ghost contends with the proton stream's effect, but the young Peter ultilizes its protonic force to lure the ghastly fiend by eliminating the replicas of its armor.
"Venkman, it seems we are confronting a lethal horde of anthropomorphic animators, and their powers appear to be at its pinnacle." Ray stated.
"I bet these guys are setting a trap on us." Young Peter responded, extracting his proton minigun and blast one of the ghostly knights to decrease its psychokinetic energy.
Young Ray extracts another proton arrow from his quiver and aims it with his bow with a practiced ease; he releases the proton arrow to pin the first possessed knight as it scatters its proton stream. Young Peter blasts proton gunfire at the rest of the possessed knights. He drags the first possessor from the armor, and young Ray dodges the swings of the ghostly knight and stuns the ghost with his proton arrow's energy to shun the possessor. He uses the capture stream to burst through its shield.
Young Ray dodges its sword and fires his proton arrow to hit the ghostly knight, discharging its energy to eliminate its power. Young Peter tosses the ghost trap to the ground and steps on the pedal to activate it. He blasts his proton minigun's proton streams, and Ray activates the coordinates to summon two ecto-drones to the battlefield. In addition, the ecto-drones direct their firepower to aim for the second and third ghostly knights as they fire their streams. He slams the ghost to a wall and to the ceiling with his proton streams, and the two ecto-drones shove the first ghostly knights into the trap. They drag the second spectral knight to the ghost trap, and young Ray evades the sword slashes of the third ghostly knight and buffets it with his bow's upper limb, channeling its protonic energy. He shoots his proton arrow to pin the third ghostly knight. Young Venkman dodges the swings of its long sword and blasts his proton stream on its spectral shield. In addition, the ghostly knight summons its skeletal horse in front of its stance and hops on its vertebrae. The fiend extracts its lance and charges towards Venkman, and it thrusts him to a wall, leaving a gargantuan crack on its end. He dodges the spectral slashes and hunches the ghostly knight with his proton minigun; in addition, he shoves the fourth ghostly knight into the trap. Young Ray avoids the strikes the fifth ghostly knight performed, and he fires his proton arrow to discharge its proton energy, draining the ghost's psychokinetic energy. He commands his two ecto-drones to blast their proton streams to drag the final ghostly knight into the ghost trap; in addition, Peter stomps on the pedal to activate the ghost trap, and Ray switches to his particle thrower and zaps his proton stream with assistance from his two ecto-drones capture the last of the ghostly knights. In addition, Ray collects the ghost trap from the ground, and the two ecto-drones disappear from Ray's sight to transfer the apparitions they have captured under his command to the containment grid.
"Medieval periods are so last month, and thank goodness no one in the school understand the middle ages. Not even me because it makes me feel sleepy." Peter responded.
"The Middle Ages, though, has become one of the most renowned periods to co-exist after the Mesopotamian period." Ray pointed out.
"What? Mr. Barison's class has me lopsided like a Spengler-mushroom at the lab." Peter jeered.
"I heard that." a male voice called to Ray's Samsung Galaxy 10 smartphone, and it was Dr. Spengler on broadcast.
"Dr. Spengler, we founded the headless knight, and it has rambled in this direction when we confronted another horde of ghostly knights at its pavilion." Ray responded.
"Those ghostly knights you confronted have given you a rough time, I noticed. It appears the headless knight has awaken from its eternal slumber. If you were able to find him, you need to start at the near west section of the exhibit." Dr. Spengler suggested.
"What updates you have on the apparitions, doctor?" Young Ray questioned.
Dr. Spengler grabs his PKE Meter, scanning the entity before realizing its full potential to harm them. In addition, the readings detect another manifestation of the ghost behind the corridors.
Hoping I would avoid more ghostly knights on the way. Young Peter thought, and a couple of arrows float themselves as they take a beeline towards him.
The young Ray drags his friend down to avoid the spectral arrows, and the young Venkman glances at another horde of ghosts, this time ghostly archers, 7 of them. The young Ray projects his ecto-eyepiece to classify its level, and the computations substantiate it as a class level 4 cross-dimensional haunt. They are described as hooded skeletal figures wielding a femur with a string attached, and its armor comprises of tattered metal with geometric patterns carved over the top; they were tattered scarves to protect their faces. Young Peter adjusts his proton minigun by loading his ammunition. The ghosts ramble to face the two young Ghostbusters members, and one fires its spectral arrow but missed. Young Venkman blasts his proton mini-gun's proton streams to drain its energy, and young Ray avoids the spectral arrows from piercing him as he extracts his proton arrow from his quiver and fires it to discharge its proton energy, clustering away its psychokinetic energy from one of which.
These ghost archers are shooting arrows in which comprises negatively psychic energy to shun their opponents. Young Ray thought, and he releases the proton arrow from his hand hitting the second ghostly archer in the chest, scattering energy around it.
Young Egon, alongside Deborah and Winston, surveys the mandala node, leading them to the sub-basement where their final encounter awaits them. Deborah uses her PKE app to detect a hidden ghost, and she surveys a spectral analysis of its sightings. Winston scouts the hallways for any clues pertaining to the havoc caused, and young Egon activates the audio recorder and interviews with one of the victims who were held hostage by Empyr and his diabolical scheme attributing to this unfortunate incident, especially with the second piece of the Gozerian scepter. Winston monitors the ghostly voices on his portable computer. He interviews a benevolent ghost who experienced the aftermath of the slaughters and was a victim of Empyr's disturbing murders.
"Can you tell me where was Empyr when you last seen him?" Young Egon asked, and the monitor hears her voice.
"What did the woman say?" Deborah questioned, "replay that, Winston."
Winston scrolls the interview back to young Egon's question from the audio recorder.
"Can you tell me where was Empyr when you last seen him?" Young Egon asked.
Pavilion... Deborah and Winston heard the ghost murmur the word.
"She said pavilion, but what kind?" Winston queried.
"Beats me." Deborah shrugged.
"Can you tell us where to look for it?" Young Egon asked the ghost as the two others hear on the audio recorder.
Upstairs... They heard the murmur of the ghost's answer.
"She wants us to go upstairs, but for what?" Deborah inquired.
They hear gashes of proton streams coming from the far side of the corridor as they hustle to the knight's pavilion, lending the assist.
"That's Peter's proton stream. I think he's in trouble." Deborah gasped.
"I suggest we wrap this up!" Winston pointed out, closing his laptop and places it in his computer bag as the young Egon directs his attention to the others.
"Thank you so much for the answers we need, Miriam!" Young Egon smirked, and he joins the two others in the rescue attempt.
Young Peter slams the first ghostly archer to a wall with his proton stream, and he tosses the ghost trap to the ground to capture the first ghost archer. Young Ray fires his proton arrow to scatter the second ghostly archer's energy but missed. The second archer ghost fires its spectral arrow and hits Venkman in the left shoulder, and he covers the wound from his shoulder. Young Ray dodges the ghostly arrows from hitting them, tending the injured Venkman. He extracts a first aid kit from his sturdy denim backpack and rubs the wound with antibiotics. The second archer ghost shoots its arrow at the barricade where the both are hiding, and the spectral arrow shoots itself upward focusing on its two intended targets.
Those ghost archers figure out where we are hiding. Ray struck with aghast, and he rushes Venkman and himself out of its sight.
They sprint from a barrage of ghostly arrows until a proton bolt hits one of the ghost archers, inflicting much damage to its ghost form. Venkman and Ray glance at the younger Egon arriving at a nick of time with Deborah and Winston. Deborah extracts her proton whips from her belt, and Winston starts the ghost trimmer. Young Egon dashes to the second archer ghost and delivers a proton punch to the face; he cartwheels to avoid the spectral arrows and strikes the ghost. Deborah lashes the third archer ghost, disarming it from its weapon and drags it closer. Young Winston shreds the ghostly arrows with his ghost trimmer into miniature pieces; in addition, young Ray summons one of his ecto-drones into the field to capture the second archer ghost.
One less injury is one priority I will never worry on when it comes to the others. Young Peter thought.
The ecto-drone opens its ghost trap, and Deborah tosses the second archer ghost into the ghost trap. Young Egon ducks the third archer ghost's bow and buffets its face with another proton punch, and the young Venkman eases himself from the injury and lifts his proton minigun. He blasts his proton fire at the third archer ghost, for Peter vows to show no mercy against the ghost.
Young Egon tosses his ghost trap to the ground and blights the fourth archer ghost in the face, sending it flying as young Ray fires his proton arrow to weaken its psychokinetic energy as Deborah drags the ghost toward the trap. Young Egon blasts his proton stream with his particle thrower, dragging the fourth ghostly archer into the ghost trap. Young Winston ducks his head from the ghostly arrows and blasts his particle stream to capture the fifth ghostly archer. He shreds the spectral arrow and another behind him. Young Ray fires his proton arrow at the fifth ghostly archer, and Deborah drags the ghost into the trap and snatches the sixth archer ghost by the neck and hands. Young Egon punches the seventh archer ghost in the face with his proton fist, and young Winston and Peter encircle the sixth archer ghost and capture it into the ghost trap. Deborah dodges the spectral arrows and snatches the seventh archer ghost by the waist, and she tosses the ghost to her cousin as the young Egon jumps and cross-punches the ghost, sending it flying into the ghost drone's trap. After a ghastly fracas with the ghostly archers, the young Ghostbusters capture them.
"You're welcome, Venkman." Deborah smirked.
"How's your wound?" Young Egon inquired him.
"Seemingly, I'm feeling better. One day if they ever return, they'll be the ones I can bust." Young Peter huffed, and young Egon contacts his older counterpart.
"Doc, we found Peter and Ray safe." Young Egon called.
"Thank goodness, I was stressing out when Venkman was in critical condition when you tend to help them out." Dr. Spengler responded.
"It looks like Miriam, a benevolent ghost whom we interviewed was right all along. Empyr has left his trail to cause trouble in the manor itself." Young Egon replied.
"I have no clue what will the third node might be somewhere in between." Dr. Spengler commented, and Slimer gawks at the headless knight squaring at the young ghostbusters and screams in panic.
The young Ghostbusters and Deborah glance at the headless knight standing in the corner. It extracts its sword from its sheath as its demonic steed charges toward the group. Young Egon flips away from its sword and launches a barrage of proton punches to the headless knight. Young Ray's ecto-drone blasts its particle beam at the beast. It is described as a male figure with tainted black armor decorated with markings based off of Gozerian symbols. Young Ray projects his ecto-eyepiece to confirm its class level, and it appears to be a class level 5 manifestation as Dr. Spengler broached. Young Peter blasts the proton streams from his proton minigun, and Deborah lashes her proton whips to catch the knight's attention. It resists the proton streams and charges to one of whom, and Ray fires his proton arrow to scatter the ghost's energy. Young Winston switches to his particle thrower in capturing the ghost. Deborah dodges the sword swings of the headless knight and strikes the ghost with her proton whip. The steed summons its spectral wave at the crew, but Deborah deflects the attack with proton shield, protecting the others from ring hit. Young Egon somersaults from the spectral strikes and glances at the ghost.
This headless knight is resisting our proton streams, and things are deteriorating for the five of us to handle unless need to put more effort to our ghost catch. Young Egon deliberated, and he pans his head to his cousin suggesting the same strategy from before.
Young Winston shreds the spectral waves with his ghost trimmer and ducks from a barrage of them; Deborah nods with her cousin's agreement and extracts her proton whip to snatch the headless knight and its demonic steed.
"Winston, Peter, I need you to form a circle on the headless knight and use your streams to drain his energy." Young Egon commanded.
"Not a problem." Peter nodded, and the headless knight performs ghost slash beam at the crew but missed.
Young Egon launches a proton bolt from his proton fist at the headless knight and beckons to enclose him. The fiend grows in frustration and charges with his steed to bash him but missed as the young Egon leaps pass the figure and delivers a massive proton punch from behind, sending the ghost flying to a wall.
Peter and Winston notice the whip's stream inflicting damage to the fiend. The headless knight struggles to break away from the proton streams surrounding its body. In addition, they blast their proton streams to drain its ghostly energy, and the crew slams the ghost into a wall and to the ceiling. Peter and Winston shove the ghost into the ground with their capture streams, and they and Deborah toss the ghost to her cousin.
Now we are on the right track to note where our enemy Empyr has I connection to his collaboration with Ivo Shandor. After I have been put through, it comes down to this persuasion. Young Egon deliberated, and the headless knight gasps in shock as he delivers a mighty proton punch fused with amounts of proton energy enough to clobber the ghost into the trap.
Young Ray's ecto-drone absorbs it into its trap and closes its doors, and the young Egon gasps for breath after eliminating the headless knight's ghost.
"In the words of the older Ray, 'now that wasn't such a chore, was it?'" Deborah quoted.
"I give him credit for that line." Young Peter smiled.
"Now we one last ghost to catch." Ray responded with a strict tone.
"The ghost of Empyr after shutting down his mandala." Young Egon stated.
"Right." Winston nodded, and young Egon hears his Samsung Galaxy 10 smartphone beeping from his pocket.
"Dr. Spengler, we have captured the headless knight and shut down Empyr's mandala." Young Egon called to him.
"Perfect, we are enclosing on the second piece of the scepter as we anticipated. You five take a risk to capture the headless knight back there." Dr. Spengler broadcasted.
"We definitely did." Young Egon responded, and his older counterpart's PKE meter detects a reading of the ghost as he verifies the third node of the mandala disappearing from his view.
"Be on your guard, you five. Empyr is, indeed, a bit power comparing to the others." Dr. Spengler responded to the five.
"Thanks doc." Young Egon nodded, and he presses the hang up button to end his call.
"Is the wound from your shoulder gone?" Deborah asked Peter, and she gazes to his shoulder knowing the bleeding disappears.
"Deborah, the wound is temporary when the archer hit me with his spectral arrow. They're the ones who started the arsenal." Peter responded, and the floors begin to encrust, revealing a cryptic elevator embellished with hellish thorns and rusted doors.
"What is that?" Deborah inquired.
"An elevator." Young Winston answered.
"Elevator, it might be, but I feel that Empyr is entrapping us here." Young Egon rectified his response.
Young Ray analyzes the structural integrity of the elevator with his ecto-eyepiece to interface with its further description before constantly joining the others in pursuit of their encounter and collecting the second piece of the scepter.
The young Egon, alongside Winston and his cousin Deborah, realize their incoming encounter lurking from the shadows. Young Egon grips his left hand to form a fist, and Deborah feels its presence lingering from the hallways. A metaphysically feminine figure emerges from the darkness, sharing her facial expression to the three young Ghostbusters. She is described as an anaemic woman with crisped skin and messily fluffy grey hair wearing a gothic style dress with trumpet sleeves and a paneled skirt, the similar style of Heel mixed with rococo elements rendered in her dress. The bellicose elderly woman roams to encircle the young Egon, and he catches his breath and glances at her movements.
"Come in, Deborah. What's going on in there?" Dr Spengler questioned, broadcasting from the 8 Hook and Ladder Firehouse.
Deborah slowly contacts Dr. Spengler with her iPhone 10 and stutters, "Doc, we found our second node, the banshee you mentioned earlier."
"Oh, I noticed, Deborah." Dr. Spengler broadcasted with a strict expression.
"He did noticed." Winston pointed out, and all eyes are on him.
"What should we do?" she queried with her eyebrows knitted and mouth flat.
"Support him, of course." Dr. Spengler responded, fixing his round glasses.
Guess this should be simple. First off we started our investigation in this thunder storm in the forecast, and I knew we are in for something surreal. Deborah thought.
Young Egon squares against the malevolent female entity, and he cracks his knuckles to face the ghost. The ghost narrows her eyes at the ghostbusters, and she performs a massive sonic scream as Young Egon dodges aerobically and punches her bony chest with his proton fist. Young Winston and Deborah watch the encounter between their friend and an unnamed class level 5 banshee.
"I guess she wants a ghost fight." Winston responded.
"What the name of the banshee?" Deborah asked him.
Is this the ruse of the ghost himself? I take that as a maybe. Winston thought.
"OK, ghost. First off before I get serious, why did you attack me?" Young Egon questioned.
The ghost performs sonic screech at young Egon, but he activates the proton shield to negate her attack. Young Egon shifts to the left to avoid the sonic screech balls and blasts his proton streams her.
"Name: Chantal Remabu also known as Madame Screecher. She used to work for Empyr as her maid; in addition, she is the first victim whom Empyr killed, so she was unlucky to apply for this job." Dr. Spengler answered.
Man, this leaves me a bit paranoid. Winston thought.
"I'm not sure how to break this to you, but that's not how you answer my question." Young Egon stated, and he flips apart from the sonic screech, bursting a hole in the wall.
"How did she died?" she questioned.
"She was lynched by Empyr's axe." he answered, and young Egon contends to brush off the screams of the banshee as Dr. Spengler glances at the entire battle, "I suggest you help him, as in now."
Finally, he needs our assistance for once as Dr. Spengler recommended earlier. Winston thought.
Young Egon launches a proton fist to the face, but she dispels the proton bolt with sonic screech and creates a screech ball with her crippled hands before tossing it towards him. The fiend's psychic energy converts with her spiritual aura, for she develops 50% of her strength from her psychokinetic energy. He gawks at the sonic ball heading towards him and kicks it back to Madame Screecher with his left foot, and the screeches explode on her, causing the volume of the sound waves to deafen her aural levels.
Madame Screecher's sonic waves makes my encounter arduous. If I don't think of a strategy to drag her down, then I'll be finished. Young Egon deliberated.
"This battle may be worse than I anticipated." Dr. Spengler scowled.
She performs another sonic screech at him, but he dodges and launches a barrage of proton bolts from his proton fist when grabbing onto the glass chandelier. It feels its effects and streams to bolt at young Egon. Winston grows in disgust of the heinous action of the ghost and attempts to blast his proton streams, but Deborah halts him as young Egon tilts his head to fix a glance at Madame Screecher.
Deborah and Winston turn their heads to one another understanding with Dr. Spengler's suggestion and extract their particle throwers from their proton packs before aiming for Madame Screecher. They blast their proton streams to catch the adversary, lending the assist for young Egon. In addition, the banshee struggles to break loose from the proton streams, and young Egon switches to his particle thrower and tosses the ghost trap to the ground. He zaps his proton stream from the back at Madame Screecher when she negates the proton streams with her spiritual sonic waves. The ghost screeches in pain as they drag her to the ground and blitz her to the wall; young Egon stomps on the pedal to activate the ghost trap. Deborah and Winston begin to drag the banshee down, and young Egon takes a few steps back to assist the two ghostbusters. After wearing away her psychic energy, they successfully capture the class level 5 banshee into the ghost trap. They gasped for breath after capturing her into the ghost trap as young Egon retrieves it. Young Egon alleviates the pain that occurs from his upper back after multiple contact with the fiend. He brushes the dust from his leather jacket and turns to the others.
"Screeching banshees has me thinking of Coach Velma Anderson's gym class when she told us to run a lap for 10 minutes around the track. It feels my legs were definitely sore." Deborah confessed.
"Yeah, coach Hightower was the best of this school." Winston nodded.
"Feels to me it does." she continued.
"I guess that's cool." he responded.
"Ain't no doubt about it." Deborah nodded.
They hear noises rumbling from the kitchen, and young Egon places his arm to inhibit the others from action as they proceed to examine it. Deborah uses her PKE meter app from her iPhone 10 to identify a hidden ghost within the kitchen, and she discovers a trail of residue creaking inside. A vortex exposes itself to develop more ghosts wreaking havoc at the wake of the incident, unleashing various groups of dead people. Lightning scatters from the exterior of the manor, and the crew tiptoes to enclose the kitchen door. Winston opens the door gently but was sealed by a kitchen appliance. Deborah hears another live transmission from Dr. Spengler and immediately answers it.
"Dr. Spengler, the door for the kitchen appears to be locked, and we couldn't get in." Deborah whispered.
"Another diabolical work of a ghost or a horde of them." Dr. Spengler frowned, and Deborah is struck with concern, "remember, you can use your proton stream to bust it open as widely as you can. These ghosts, however, messing around in the kitchen. The only option to eliminate its negative energy is by closing the vortex, in which summons them from the hostworld. You know where it is."
"Yes, in the kitchen, right?" Deborah asked him nervously.
"Right, just go there." he urged her.
"Looks like some appliance has blocked the doors. Manifestations of ghosts, could be? If we--" Winston watches young Egon taking a few steps back to attempt to bust it open.
Young Egon bolts and busts the door down with his left leg, and Winston and Deborah proceed with him. It sends an object flying from their path, a stove covered in dust and cobwebs. He shakes the soreness and proceeds to the room. Rambling voices reverberate the corridors, and the kitchen supplies float themselves and falls to the ground. Deborah feels a tense chill in her body, and Winston points his flashlight to illuminate the surface. Fire from the ovens flicker themselves, and a frying pan flips itself. Suddenly, a fireball flickers fron the stove and aims at the young Ghostbuster. Young Egon and the two others evade the fireball with Deborah and Winston running and him somersaulting and sliding. The stove flickers more fire as it summons a spectral flame ring at the three young Ghostbusters, but Deborah blocks the flames with proton shield. Young Egon glares at the invisible entity flipping the frying pans, and the figure reveals itself to Winston, Deborah, and him. A horde of ghostly chefs, five of them, emerges from the ceiling feasting their eyes on the young Ghostbusters. The younger Egon eases to his feet and grabs his particle thrower to aim for the first ghostly chef.
These ghost chefs are playing with pots and pans. I hope to avoid the kitchen once in a while. Young Egon thought.
He blasts his particle thrower at the first ghostly chef to drain its energy. It flips another fireball with its frying pan and lashes it at young Egon; he jumps out of the way and blasts his proton stream to decrease its psychokinetic energy. The second chef ghost balances fire from its pans and lashes it at the crew, and the young Winston dodges the flames and jumps apart from the flames from downward. Deborah extracts her particle thrower and blasts her proton streams to catch the second chef ghost. The ghost breaks its contact with the proton streams, tending to ramble with the kitchen ware.
This ghost is trying to resist my proton streams. I must keep tearing its energy down; otherwise, I wouldn't stand a chance against it. Deborah deliberated, and she strides with her particle thrower in her hand.
Winston extinguishes the spectral flame with his ghost trimmer's fireproof wings; the second chef ghost extracts two cutlets and slams one of them to chase Deborah. The stove flickers fire and conducts another fireball to hit the young Ghostbusters but missed. The third chef slams the counter with a rolling pan, and Winston fires his particle stream at the chef ghost. He hops out of the counter to lure it to a trap. The second chef ghost grows in dismay and pommels the cutlet to the oven. Winston shreds bread monsters and dodges the possessed rolling pans. Kitchen utensils are thrown to Deborah but missed. Young Egon tosses his particle thrower to slam the first chef ghost into the ground and the wall adjacent the kitchen supplies. Winston shreds the bread monsters and ducks his head from the possessed kitchen knives. He tosses the ghost trap to the ground and presses the pedal with his left foot to activate it. He drags the first chef ghost into the ghost trap and dodges the pans coming toward him. Deborah drags the second chef ghost into the ghost trap with her particle thrower. She extracts to the proton whips and snatches the third ghost by the abdomen region before it slams its rolling pan to the counter, hitting Winston. She drags the ghost into the ghost trap with her full strength, and Winston glances at the possessed paper towel coiling to face him. He presses his lips to form a smile and activates the ghost trimmer to shred the possessed paper tower sheets into miniature pieces. Winston shreds the rest of the possessed paper towel sheets, and Deborah snatches the one of the kitchen knives struggling to prevent it from stabbing her. She rolls away from the knife as it hits the wall and reclaims her weapon to lash against the ghostly chefs.
Young Egon pounds the fourth chef ghost in the face with his proton fist; he blasts his proton stream with one hand and shoves the ghost close to him before sending it to the ghost trap, so he punches it straight in the face. He sends the ghost flying into the trap and dodges the fifth ghostly chef's attack with his particle thrower, and young Egon blasts his proton streams at the fifth chef with assist from Deborah and Winston. Young Egon tosses a circular ghost trap to the ground as they successfully capture the last ghost chef into the ghost trap.
"That's the last of the ghost, for now." Young Egon responded.
"This manor is packing with more demonic spirits, in which we haven't learn more about." Deborah replied.
"Hey guys, take a good look on surveillance." Winston called as all eyes are on him, and the second node for the mandala to reach Empyr.
"The second node." Young Egon responded in a mixture of bewilderment and astonishment, and the other young Ghostbusters and he turn their heads to Dr. Spengler.
"OK, with the second node out of the way, we are closing in on our enemy." Dr. Spengler stated.
"That was weird." Deborah responded, and the young ghostbusters glance at the vortex, in which summons the ghosts to their world as young Egon uses his circular ghost trap to capture it.
"And that takes care of the vortex for now." Young Egon smiled.
"Perfect, first you three need to help Ray and Peter." Dr. Spengler suggested.
"Right, I told them to investigate the upper corridors of the building, so you read our minds, Dr. Spengler." young Egon responded to him, and Dr. Spengler shares a smirk as he ends his transmission with the young ghostbusters.
The three young ghostbusters exit from the kitchen to find their friends Peter and Ray, whom the younger Egon allocated to patrol the upper corridors. They ascend the runic staircase to the hallways until it changes to the direction they are heading. The staircase inhibits at the upper door, leading them to a short cut.
"Let's head up; otherwise, the stairs will change its direction." Young Egon responded as the two others and he climb the steps to the next room in pursuit of their ghostly enemy.
Deborah contacts Ray with her iPhone and waits for a response from him although his phone was practically off when Venkman and he manage to cover the upper corridors. Young Winston creaks the door open a bit and discovers a hall treasured with priceless photographs, and eyes from a haunted painting stalk on the group members. Deborah feels more chills in her body as she witnesses a painting of a frowning woman in a static gesture. She receives a reading from her PKE meter app of an entity in it, and the valences are off the charts when indicating its presence. She is described as a vengeful manifestation that emerges from the canvas; Deborah catches a a glimpse of the entity. Suddenly, the ghost bursts to petrify Deborah, and young Egon and Winston hears her yelling as they hustle to encounter the ghost.
"Whst is that? Is it another ghost painting?" Winston inquired, and young Egon hears his Samsung Galaxy 10 phone beeping.
Young Egon answers the phone, "Dr. Spengler, have you confronted haunted paintings before?"
"Your older counterparts and I have confronted one before, so yes we did. It appears to be another class level 4 paranormal entity, this painting Empyr referred to as his mother Muriel Anos." Dr. Spengler answered.
"Muriel Anos?" Young Egon queried.
"After his mother passed away at the age of 75 from dementia, her astral form is transferred to this mural in remembrance of her son. I know she's not Gertrude Aldridge, nor she's not Vigo the Carpathian. She was loathed by everyone from her village though Empyr shared his experiences with her." he answered, and the young Ghostbusters extract their particle throwers and zaps at Muriel Anos' ghost.
She extracts a pair of spectral knives from her hands and streams to the group. Deborah blasts her proton stream to drain Muriel's psychokinetic energy. She spins clockwise to wreak havoc at the room; young Egon dodges the knives and launches a proton bolt from his proton fist to hit her chest. Deborah and Winston drag the fiend to the ceiling and to the floor repeatedly; she feels the cardiac muscles in her heart damage with blood overflowing, and young Egon shifts to the right to avoid the knives and blasts his proton stream to decrease her psychokinetic energy. Winston and Deborah dodge the knives as young Egon throws the ghost trap into the ground and steps it, entrapping the ghost. They drag her inside the trap as the painting disappears with it, and young Egon retrieves the ghost trap from the ground.
"Egon, remember when we throw a surprise for Caridee and said it was a bad idea." Winston pointed out.
"Yes, and that brought Vigo into our world, tormenting Caridee if only she knew about him." Young Egon replied.
"Main difference of these three, Muriel wields knives, and the two others don't." he stated.
"If the next time I wanted to do a report for the New York Art Museum, I would choose pop art instead of impressionism for a change. Besides, I never understand any key elements relating to the topic Mrs. Quayle covered during art history." Deborah responded.
"Now to find the others. Come on!" Young Egon responded.
The team hustles to the hallways in search for Ray and Peter before facing the fiend himself.
The young Ray examines the west corridor with Peter for any suspicions carried in the upper floors, and they noticed cracks on the concrete walls. Young Ray points his flashlight to note ghastly activity the ghost has left, and young Peter scouts the parlor and finds two apparitions toying with the equipment. They both stand against the wall awaiting for order, and Peter spies on the apparitions, noticing their schemes.
"There is a paranormal sighting at the parlor at 2 o'clock." Peter whispered, pointing out at the deranged ghosts.
"How can you tell, Peter?" Ray questioned.
"Take a wild guess." he hinted, and young Ray peers through the ghosts toying around carelessly and rambles to the next floor.
"Whenever we're ready." Young Ray whispered, extracting a proton arrow from his quiver.
"Did you pack your bow?" Young Peter queried.
"Indeed, this is the weapon Dani gave when she left the ghost business." Ray answered him.
"On my signal. Ready?" Young Peter signaled him, "zap it!"
Venkman blasts his proton streams to catch the first deranged watchtower ghost, and young Ray concentrates on his aim and releases the proton arrow to pin the deranged ground allowing the proton streams to scatter the ghost. Ray projects the knob of his ecto-eyepiece to catch an image of the watchtower ghost's physical appearance. The first ghost throws an inanimate object at Venkman, but Ray activates the proton shield to deflect it. The second ghost whacks Ray with a pipe, but he guards himself with his indium bow and presses the button to scatter a proton bolt at the second watchtower ghost. Peter blasts his proton stream to snatch the first ghost and slams it into a tattered wall; the first watchtower ghost struggles to break loose from the streams draining its psychokinetic energy. Ray fires his proto arrow to pin the second watchtower ghost in the chest, allowing the proton streams to drain its psychokinetic energy, and Peter drags the second watchtower ghost into the ghost trap.
"Perfect, and that's how we kick these ghosts into the trap and faster than a speeding bullet." Peter replied.
Young Ray hears his Samsung Galaxy 10 sounding, and it's a message from Dr. Spengler, broadcasting from the 8 Hook and Ladder firehouse's control room to confirm on their condition.
"Hello?" Young Ray inquired.
"Fantastic work on catching those ghosts, you two. I hope the ghosts you've captured will figure out where Empyr has roaming to next depicted by this node in front of you." Dr. Spengler pointed out, and the two gentlemen catch a glimpse of a trail Empyr left.
A node? What is so special about it? Whatever it wants us to go, the fiend will know our attempt. Peter wondered.
Young Ray extracts the PKE boomerang and tosses it to the air, analyzing the integrity of the manor for sightings of ghosts involved in the rampage. The boomerang collects one sighting of a ghost besides Empyr, and it's a class level 4 moaning banshee. Another ghost sighting appears to be a class level 5 bi-dimensional phenomenon, and the last sighting appears to be from the great hall, a class level 5 childishly psychic specter. More importantly, these ghosts have plot a sinister attack by expanding inanimate objects and wreaking more havoc. Relatively, they contend that the paranormal revolution is at a potential risk when another psychokinetic pulse has permeated the New York area.
"Dr. Spengler, we have discovered a few more paranormal sightings in the Claro Manor and analyzed a few active samples." Ray responded.
"Splendid," Dr. Spengler nodded, "I was talking to Deborah and Winston moments ago. They discovered a manifestation occurring in the first bathroom of its second story."
"They did. They found themselves lucky to drag themselves into the curve fit for a tornado." Peter quipped, but Ray places his hand to quiet him.
Reports of gigantic holes in fractured white walls; powdered cobwebs surrounding the furniture; echoes from anonymous victims especially followers; winds howling in our direction? I'm receiving sightings of paranormal incidents indicated from my ecto-eyepiece. Ray debilitated.
His PKE boomerang complements its analysis of paranormal sightings occur in the area as it returns to his grasp. The antennas in each boomerang blade detects a. In addition, the gentlemen proceed further to the upper corridors for at occurring manifestations and residual hauntings of ghosts. Peter hears soft voices of ghosts taunting around the cryptic halls, and Ray collects analysis from his ecto-eyepiece indicating paranormal anomaly occurring as interface discloses a class level 5 bi-dimensional phenomenon from downstairs. Young Peter attaches the proton mini-gun to his proton pack for more specific damage before facing the phenomenon.
The latest edition proton mini-gun consists of rapid proton fire ten times as the particle thrower occurred and allows me to target any intended identity at its range. Perhaps this bad boy could grab more ghosts in seconds superior to the particle thrower. Although its weigh in 65 pounds, it has unique fire power when compressing its plane. Peter thought.
As the two gentlemen descend the runic staircase, the sinuous winds blow the fire from the torch out, leaving the gothic tower in sheer darkness. The possessed knight armor on the right lashes an axe to block Peter and Ray from inching the wooden door, frightening Venkman. Ray catches his slender arms in time, preventing panic in him.
"Be careful, the knight armors are frankly possessed when it notices our single attempt. More importantly, we are confronting a series of paranormal anomalies, in which contends our probabilities of catching Empyr's ghost at its perimeter." Ray stated.
"You don't have to tell me, Ray." Peter frowned.
"If we enable to pass these possessed knight armors by sprinting to that door, we can reach to the bottom levels prior to haunted stairways." he suggested.
"If I can trust your idea, then it would be." Peter shrugged, and the two ghostbusters hustle to the edge of the stairwell with the possessed medieval knight armors striking them with indium long swords but missed.
Ray shifts forward and somersaults to avoid the lances from striking him; in addition, he zaps his specter taser gun to discharge protonic energy into the medieval armors, unveiling more ghosts underneath. Peter flips to pass the sword and lands on the entrance as Ray cartwheels to avoid their lethal blows. Ray accommodates the number coordinates to summon an ecto-drone to capture four possessors. The ecto-drone blasts its proton stream to catch the first possessor into its containment unit; the possessor contends to resist the proton stream, but Peter aims and fires his proton minigun at the first possessor and drags it into the trap. The second possessor screeches its crippled mouth to dispel the drone's proton streams, and Ray shifts to avoid the wisps from enclosing him. He extracts another of the proton arrows from his quiver and fires it at the second possessor in the chest, discharging particles to inflict damage to it. The ecto-drone drags the ghost into its ghost trap, and Peter directs his protonic gunfire at the third possessor and drags it in. The fourth possessor extends its fingernails and strikes young Ray; he blocks the scratches with his bow and fires his proton arrow to scatter the ghost's psychokinetic energy. It shoves Ray to a pile of rusted armor, and plates begin falling from the cabinets. Young Peter glares at the fourth possessor and blasts the proton stream with assist from Ray's ecto-drone; thus, he captures the last possessor ghost into the ecto-drone's ghost trap. The ecto-drone disappears to base in transferring the ghost it captured into the containment grid for Dr. Spengler to determine its classification. Peter lifts a semi-conscious Ray to his feet.
"First time these anthropomorphic knights in medieval armor tend to attack us is when we were at Arthur's castle, and it's also the last from point of view." Peter huffed.
"Don't be intimidated by its motives, Venkman." Ray nodded, and the wooden door creaks by itself as the two gentlemen amble to catch a glimpse of their incoming ghostly encounter.
Deborah and Winston stalk on three mischievous ghosts of children toying with a tub with contaminated water; in addition, Deborah signals him to engage the attack by counting down with her fingers from 3 to 1. Moreover, the two ghostbusters must enact on a plan to capture these ghosts before they tend to engage their spectral attack. The ghostly children exit from the tub to plot their mischievous tricks on the duo, and the first mischievous child, appearing to be a female at the age of three in a polka dotted dress splashes the wall.
"Now!" Deborah shouted, and Winston blasts the particle at the mischievous children but missed.
The first mischievous child tosses blocks from his hand at Deborah, and they animate themselves. Splashes of protonic charged water wash both Deborah and Winston, transferring them into a gigantic play room. The third mischievous child uses the bear to bring inanimate objects in the bathroom to life. The first animated building block slams to the ground as Deborah and Winston slips from the animated building blocks. One of which hits Deborah in the face, and the second mischievous child ghost removes her bow and catches Winston by the feet.
What could be worse? Accepting garbage duty from environmental science or compelling children to go to nap time? Deborah thought.
He struggles to break free from the ghost's grip and points his particle thrower; Winston zaps a proton bolt at the female child ghost, forcing her to release him.
Tending to quarrel with elderly ghosts are what we are astute at, but busting child ghost differentiates the term. Winston thought.
"Incoming!" Deborah exclaimed, and the animated building blocks form together as they stand against the wall, avoiding them.
"Man, ghosts of children are even deadlier than adult ones. Any ideas?" Winston questioned Deborah, and they dodge the building blocks quickly.
"The first child ghost threw a gigantic block on me, and that thing hurts a lot. What is their weak point?" Deborah pondered, and she flash backs to the first encounter with the first mischievous child ghost holding a teddy bear, which possesses psychokinetic energy, "the teddy bear, of course! Winston, I need you to aim for the bear and the children with your streams while I set up the ghost traps."
"That's a good idea!" Winston nodded.
"Operation: Time Out is a go!" Deborah exclaimed, and she extracts a set of ghost traps for each of them.
Winston blasts his proton stream to snatch the first child ghost with the bear in its hand; it struggles to resist the streams, but he drags it to a wall and into the floor until it grows weary from crashing into walls. Deborah steps on the pedal to open its doors to absorb the ghost into the trap. The blocks inch closer as they trade places as Winston shreds the ghostly building blocks with his ghost trimmer. Deborah lashes her proton whip to snatch the female child ghost. It augments its red prehensile bow to snatch her until Winston shreds it. Deborah pulls the child ghost with her strength and tosses her into the ghost trap. The last child, who appears to be a male with platinum blonde hair wearing a flower onesie at age 2, and he throws another set of building blocks at the two ghostbusters. Winston shreds the blocks from inching him or Deborah, and he switches to his particle thrower and blasts his proton streams at the last child ghost. Deborah assists him with her proton whip without crossing it and shoves the ghost into the ghost trap.
"Oh boy, I'll never going to have kids." Deborah frowned.
"I don't recall what is the worse objective we have from early child development. I prefer baby sitting for a better profit than taking the class." Winston replied.
The scene returns to its normal state, and Deborah soothes her drenched light brown hair. Winston picks up the ghost traps and hands one of them to Deborah. They exit from the aperture which connects to the first bathroom, and Deborah contacts Dr. Spengler with her iPhone 10 as the screen fizzles to the control room of the firehouse.
"Dr. Spengler, we have captured the ghosts of the Mischievous Children." Deborah responded.
"Good, hopefully, they will be playing with new ghosts their age." Dr. Spengler nodded, "I suggest you search for a path leading to the sub-basement, leading to our common foe."
"Yes?" Deborah inquired.
"I received word from Ray's PKE boomerang on maintenance." Dr. Spengler responded on broadcast.
"How many disturbances were there?" Deborah questioned him.
"Based on what Ray analyzed, apparently, we have three manifestations of ghosts in this very manor. The node I mentioned to them signifies where we corner our enemy." Dr. Spengler reported to them.
"Wait, were the ghostly children part of the node?" Deborah inquired.
"Let's see." Winston responded, and it depicts a mandala of the gateway to reach the fiend Empyr as the first node disappears in front of them, "it is the first node. We actually shut it down ourselves."
"I couldn't believe it. I'm lost in sweet ecstasy here, but this is unimaginable. Most of the paranormal researchers whom we worked with couldn't feast their eyes on this moment." Deborah responded in wonderment.
"I'm glad you have done it, but there are plenty more wreaking havoc according to surveillance. Now that you're on the right track, can you return to my younger counterpart?" Dr. Spengler offered them.
"You want us to go to the great hall?" Winston queried.
"Though my cousin wants to tackle it himself, we can go for support." Deborah replied.
"Good, go to him as possible." Dr. Spengler responded, and Deborah ends her transmission with him after receiving the objective.
"Let's go, Winston." she ordered.
"Roger!" he nodded, and the two exit from the scene of the ghost hunt to find their friend.
Young Egon enters the great hall to discover an isolated banquet with a wooden table comprise of cobwebs covering silverware. Silver knives and forks begin to float by themselves, and young Egon glances at the floating utensils as they dart towards him. Young Egon dodges the utensils from attacking him. He leaps to avoid the forks. He extracts his proton fist to launch a proton punch at the possessed silverware; animated tablecloths glide toward him, but he zaps another bolt to discharge particle energy, crippling its fabric. Young Egon shifts to the right and eliminates the utensils in one blow, and he lets out a sigh in relief before managing to transition out of a round table. Another ghost possesses a rotted lobster at the center of a rectangular table embellished with feast preparations, and its spectral energy manipulates around its corpse.
Something informs me I must skip thanksgiving. Young Egon thought, and a monstrous lobster senses his presence and raids on the attack with hammer arm.
Young Egon evades the lobster arms and fires a bolt from his particle thrower. He whacks its head with it and pounds its face with his proton fist; in addition, he performs a barrage of proton punches at it, and the creature hides underneath its shell. It snaps its claws to strike him, but he flips away from its claws and extends his left arm to launch a proton punch. He extends his left foot to kick the beast in the face; young Egon whacks the beast in the face and launches a proton bolt from his proton fist, castigating the creature and evades its claws. It snaps its claws to fracture the table and punches him in the face. It barbarically hammers him four times in the back, and it snatches him from the waist and tosses Egon to the next table, shattering the glassware. It dashes toward him and clobbers him to the ground with its barbaric strength. Young Egon covers his bruised back and glares at the fiend; he brushes off the miniature broken glasses from his face and eases to his feet.
The ghost streams toward him until he performs a barrage of rapid proton punches, and the bolt shatters the glassware from the back. It hisses at him, and he beckons the lobster ghost to enclose on with his finesse. It charges toward him until he jumps and tosses a circular ghost trap and blights the lobster ghost in the face with a massive proton bolt, sending it flying to the trap as it closes its door. He catches his breath to rid the stress from his mind, and he turns his head to Deborah and Winston who came after capturing their first encounter.
"Are you OK, Egon?" Deborah asked her cousin.
"I actually persuade that lobster that hard." Young Egon nodded, rubbing his neck with a pleasant smile.
"For a man with a great reputation," Winston replied, "Dr. Spengler called, we figure you can use some help."
"Thank you, but no thank you. I already mapped out my strategy against the ghosts in terms of their unprecedented arrival." Young Egon replied.
"Looks like someone has transformed his own body into a dangerous weapon." Deborah whispered to Winston.
"I can see that." Winston agreed.
"I heard that." Young Egon responded, cocking an eyebrow at the two of them.
"Eventually." Winston smiled, and they hear a harsh voice echoing the pavement.
The three Ghostbusters sense a malodorous stench of ghost cologne, and young Egon approaches with his left arm raised confronting the manifestation. Deborah readies her particle thrower as her eyes fix the hallways and Winston's eyes dilate to glance at the ghost's rambling occurrence.
Not sure what will might happen, but persuading is the option I have on my sleeve. Young Egon thought, biting his lip skeptically.
A manifestation occurs from the shadows glancing at the two others, and young Egon grips his left hand to form a fist.
Deborah and the boys head to Kylie's apartment to pick up the gadgets they need to start their ghost bust after two years. Young Winston switches on the siren to give the vibe to the old days, and young Egon presses his lips to form a subtle smile as everybody in New York realizes the sound of the ecto-siren wailing. They chant the group's name as various newspaper companies in New York City reported their return even social media tweets of the unforgettable experience.
"Everybody knows our return, and I can hear the crowd cheering. This is the best night of or lives!" Deborah squealed.
"It sure has when we meet her." Young Egon smiled.
"I remembered when you and doc were in trouble by these thugs, and we beat the living day lights out of them." Young Peter smirked.
"Wait, you and Kylie battled thugs?" Winston inquired, turning his head to Peter in bewilderment.
"Seems decent when I encounter bad guys, but it is bloody good." Peter replied, crossing his arms together with a subtle smirk.
"Not the wise decision to make an appearance, Peter." Ray stated.
The young ghostbusters arrive at the apartment where they meet a gothic female in football armor underneath her dark grey Ghostbusters jumpsuit with blue and grey hair, her skin appears to be pale, and she stands there with her proton shotgun and turns her head to the crew.
"Hey Kylie!" Young Peter hollered.
"Dr. Spengler send you here? I knew he was alive and well, and he also told me about your reunion." Kylie responded.
"Yes, its been two years since we have our last ghost bust." Peter nodded.
"Yes, he did. So, can you share with us the gadgets?" Young Egon inquired.
"You came for the gadgets as Dr. Spengler told you." Kylie replied, "OK, your first gadget is the proton fist. Crafted by Jillian Holtzmann and first tested by Abby Yates. This will allow you to fight more ghosts. Next we have the proton whips. The latest mark version invented by Jillian Holtzmann again allows you to strike these ghosts in a second." she passes them to Deborah, "and they're cordless. Then we have the mix of PKE meter and ecto-goggles known as the ecto-eyepiece. Gadget number 4 is the mark two version of the proton mini gun. Be careful when using this new version. The fifth gadget is the proton shield: it is a synthetic prototype which propels counterattacks of the ghosts. Next we have the ghost trimmer. The seventh gadget we have is the proton drones consisted with the ghost traps we wielded prior to the previous versions, the latest version of the ghost drones. Gadget number eight are the proton arrows, and you might need a bow for it. The ninth gadget is the PKE boomerang; it allows you to sense any ghost activity. And it is accessible to your ecto-eyepieces. And lastly we have the proton taser. Any questions or concerns of the weapons, do speak now."
The PKE boomerang consists of the readings Dr. Spengler shared with us before we embark our mission, and most of the data within it appears to be more mobile and faster than the PKE and ecto-goggles combined. If I put the boomerang to the test, I will determine its whereabouts occur. Ray thought.
"I have a question about the proton shield. How do we use the proton shield to inhibit these ghosts?" Deborah questioned Kylie.
"When the spirit inches closer to either one of you, the proton shield will prevent any form of apparition from raiding his/her attacks in the translation of the prototype." she answered.
That's one gadget I will like to use when heading there. Winston thought.
"Question for the ghost trimmer; will it shred away smaller ghosts?" Winston inquired.
"It depends, Winston." Kylie answered.
"About the proton fist, I'm much of a ghost fighter myself after stepping out of my nerd image, what consistencies it has against the supernatural?" Young Egon inquired.
"That I'm not familiar with entirely; I'm going to research on this in detail." Kylie answered.
"Anyway, it's off to the Claro Manor now. Thank you, Kylie." Young Egon smiled, and the crew exits the apartment with the assigned gadgets and their proton packs require to capture more ghosts tormenting New York.
"Tell Dr. Spengler I said 'hi!'" Kylie responded.
"We will." Young Egon smiled, and the four others and he enter the Ecto-1 together. Young Winston decides to drive the Ecto-1 as Egon III lends the keys to him.
Young Peter stored the equipment to the trunk as he straps himself into his seat. Deborah sits in the passenger seat next to Winston, and they receive a broadcast call from Dr. Spengler as he presses the button to answer the call.
"Busters, it's doc. I have found where our adversary has appeared. It appears we have a bigger problem within it." Dr. Spengler responded.
"More ghosts." Young Egon conjectured.
"You've guessed it." Dr. Spengler replied.
Great! Now we have more trouble than we realized unless they want the pleasure. It's like facing someone's demon such as Hawkins' office. Peter thought.
"Point it out." Young Egon asked.
"I'm getting to it." Dr. Spengler responded, accessing the system to indicate sightings of the ghosts on the computer.
If this guy is bringing more creeps, then we're in deep trouble. Peter thought.
"There it is, he's hidden in the center of the sub-basement. You can take the central elevator downward." Dr. Spengler answered, revealing details of their first enemy.
The young ghostbusters agree with his suggestion, and Winston drives the ecto-1 to the Tribeca neighborhood. The clouds merge and darken around as a winds blow 32 miles per hour southbound, and a horde of of airborne ghosts with umbrellas in their hands descend from the gloomily verdant sky.
"Specters with umbrellas approaching at two o'clock!" Deborah exclaimed.
"Oh yeah, it's ghostbusting time!" Young Peter exclaimed, extracting his proton thrower and blasts his particle stream at the first umbrella ghost to decrease its psychokinetic energy.
He slams it to the ground with its kinetic force and shoves it into the enhanced version of the super slammer. Young Egon opens the window and blasts his proton stream at the second umbrella ghost; on the other hand, it resists its proton stream, so he hunches it into the proton stream and drags the ghost into the super slammer trap without colliding the streams. Another wave of umbrella ghosts emerges from the building, viciously raiding on the Ecto-1 as the young Egon glowers at the ghost. The third umbrella ghost oscillates its umbrella and pops it open to lash its ghastly wind; the young Egon evades the ghostly attack and blasts his proton stream to drag the third umbrella ghost into the super slammer.
"They're gaining on us!" Deborah exclaimed, turning her head to the other Ghostbusters.
"Hold on tight! This is going to be a bumpy ride!" Winston exclaimed.
Ray shakes his head in shock when Winston points at the red flashing button, "Wait, you're not going to use the..." Whoosh! The Ecto-1 streams in hyper speed as Peter and Egon hold on as the young Egon aims for the last umbrella ghost after Venkman III castigated the two others. The ghost lashes its ghastly wisps from its umbrella at the Ecto-1.
If I can aim for the last ghost, we would reach the Claro Manor in time. Young Egon deliberated, and he blasts the proton stream at the last ghost to decrease its psychokinetic energy.
He drags the umbrella ghost into the super slammer trap, and Venkman and he successfully captured the ghosts in time. Young Egon blows the smoke from his particle thrower, and the two gentlemen raise the car windows after tackling the ghosts. Winston deactivates the hyper speed of the ecto-1 as it refrains its velocity from increasing, and Deborah catches her breath and pans her head to Winston.
"Great job, you two. Hopefully, this will go toward your performance." Young Ray sighed in relief, "those ghosts as I verified from the eyepiece are class level 4 parasol umbrage specters as pictured from its physical appearance. In this case, we are able to track these ghosts if we can signify their countermeasures."
"Thanks Ray." Young Egon responded.
"Yeah, we have nailed it big time." Young Peter smirked, and he gives young Egon a high five.
"Warning, more ghosts incoming." the female computer voice called to the members.
"We found ourselves more company." Young Egon responded, and a round of ghosts in 70's fashion emerge from the flag pole, "disco ghosts!"
"Reminds me of my battle against Mr. LeDisko, and that disco beat really pisses me off!" Young Peter frowned.
"Class level 5 fiberglass entity, I will summon the an ecto-drone to clear away the surface." Young Ray responded.
"Well splendid, Venkman. I suppose I would agree with you on your criticism toward LeDisko." Deborah nodded.
"There are six of them! Let's take them down!" Young Egon exclaimed, and Ray locks in the coordinates to summon an ecto-drone to clean up the ghostly mess.
"Fire at will!" Ray commanded the ghost drone to blast its proton stream to capture the first disco ghost. It flashes its proton stream to catch the first disco ghost; it is resisting the proton streams as the second disco ghost lashes ghastly wind on the Ecto-1 until Deborah activates the ghost turrets annexed with the super slammer.
It's best not to cross the streams because it would cause damage to the neighborhood. Deborah deliberated, and the ecto-drone drags the first disco ghost into the trap.
The ecto-drone drags the second disco ghost into the super slammer, and the turrets blast its multiple streams to snatch the final four disco ghosts that are resisting the proton streams. The third disco ghost struggles to break the bond from the proton stream until it drags it to the ground, causing dizziness to the apparition. The drone captures the fourth disco ghost and drags it to the trap, and the fifth disco ghost streams toward the Ecto-1 until the turret blasts its streams to decrease its psychokinetic energy. The drone assists the proton turret to drag the sixth disco ghost into the super slammer trap. Thus, the crew members survive another ghostly encounter. Ray's ecto-drone disappears back to headquarters, and young Peter grows in disgust on his music tastes.
"I must admit guys, disco will never and ever will be my favorite genre of music." Peter uttered.
"I'll be sticking with pop music more often." Deborah nodded.
"Me too and rap music as well." Winston agreed.
Deborah contacts Dr. Spengler as he appears on screen, "Dr. Spengler, we have capture twelve ghosts into the Super Slammer trap."
"That's fantastic." Dr. Spengler smiled.
"We are arriving at the Claro Manor in four minutes." Young Egon responded to him.
The Young Ghostbusters and Deborah arrive at the Claro Manor in the Tribeca neighborhood, the same neighborhood as their firehouse, and they exit the Ecto-1 to find manifestations of ghosts encircling the building.
Young Egon catches a glimpse of the gothic architecture of the manor, and he straps his proton pack on him. It isn't typically built in the image of the ghost world, but it is fortified, in which requires a livestock. His eyebrows knit to survey the number of ghosts roaming around the roof, and young Venkman extracts the proton packs from the trunk as the crew members strap them on their backs. They amble to the front door of the Claro Manor and approach the staircase. A malevolent horde of spirits roams around the manor roof, and the young Ghostbusters glance at the interior of the manor. Young Egon packs his audio recorder in case of recording conversations with minor ghosts who were held as victims of Empyr. Deborah widens her grey umbrella to prevent the rain from pouring down. Young Egon extracts his umbrella with the no ghost sign logo with sunglasses, and he helps young Peter keep out of the rain. Young Ray opens his umbrella and exits the vehicle to join the others. He closes the left rear door and hustles to join the others in inclement weather. His lips press to a subtle smile and tilts his head a bit to the sky as most of the data appeared to be candid.
76% chance of a possible thunderstorm. Perfect weather for our ghost hunt. Young Egon thought, gazing at the gloomy sky.
The crew examines the first floor of the Claro Manor, and the young Egon switches on his flashlight to illuminate the blacken surfaces. A streak of lightning strikes from the back window, and the sylvan doors snap shut themselves. The wind howls blowing the flames from the candelabra; the furniture is embellished with dusty cobwebs and walls are smeared with victim's blood. The knight's armor is covered in spots, and haunting voices reverberate across the hallways. Footsteps echo around the tattered staircase, and a manifestation flickers at the direction of their sight. Young Egon lowers his flashlight to discover the eeriness of the manor; young Ray projects his ecto-eyepiece to determine their foe's whereabouts. Deborah blinks her eyes at the ripped portraits, for it was perceived the adversary has lived in solitude and died a wealthy person. Therefore, the house was burned for years. Young Peter senses the rancid smell of marijuana roaming the hallways, and young Winston tilts his head to catch a glimpse of the upstairs window, feeling a chill in the atmosphere. Therefore, this is where the ghost hunt begins.
"Alright, this is where we can track Empyr," Young Egon responded to the other young Ghostbusters, "Peter, you and Ray examine the upper corridors in case Empyr has rambled in one of these rooms that connects to the gatehouse. Deborah, you and Winston will investigate the bathrooms, which linked with the guest solars. As for me, I'll take the great hall."
The team is divided into two as the young Egon handles the great hall solo, and Deborah leans the door gently open to discover with Winston to examine the bathrooms. Winston points his flashlight to detect a potential paranormal anomaly crawling the halls, and Deborah surveys handprints covered in blood and hears a child's giggle echoing across the solars.
She turns her head to Winston immediately and asks, "Do you hear it?"
"Hear what?" Winston queried in a serene tone.
"Sounded like childish laughter. This could be something for our next season of Paranormal Diaries." Deborah mumbled.
"I noticed it, but right now, we need to find the second piece of the scepter and end Empyr's games." he recommended.
"Right. Hopefully, we can collect the rest when we are done with this place." Deborah nodded, and the child's laughter begins to increase as Deborah checks her audio recorder linked with her belt. She uses her iPhone and presses the PKE meter app to verify a hidden ghost wandering the hallways.
The ghost reveals its full form, and Deborah catches a glimpse of the child, who appears to be a 5-year male wearing a sailor outfit holding a teddy bear, and extracts her particle thrower from her proton pack.
This ghost seems harmless, but why is its hands covered in blood? I'm not sure how I should explicate this to Dr. Spengler when we realize a ghostly child appearing in our sight. Deborah thought, and her eyes narrow and blasts the proton stream to catch the ghost's attention as it avoids the proton stream.
The mischievious child's ghost roams to a wall, leaving its ectoplasmic residue over it. Deborah and Winston gawk at the leftover residue it left, and Deborah hears her new ring tone, No Tears Left To Cry by her favorite singer Ariana Grande playing, and she notices a message from Dr. Spengler and answers her phone.
"Hello?" Deborah queried.
"That's strange! I never seen a ghost of a child before! I supposed this class level 3 psychic entity would be a thing for you two. If you see it again, whatever you do, do not be fooled by his facial expressions. Just easily capture it into the trap." Dr. Spengler advised them, and he vanishes from transmission.
"Dr. Spengler told us to capture the ghost. He could running around everywhere." Winston responded, and Deborah and he harks the sound of a horde of ghosts merging the pavement.
The ghosts of Empyr's henchmen, five of them, emerge from the paintings to raid their attack on the team of Deborah and Winston. The two ghostbusters extract their particle throwers and blast their proton streams at the two of them. The first Empyr henchman dives toward Deborah, but she blasts her proton stream to snatch the ghost. On the other hand, it disarms her from her weapon and attempts to strike until she blocks it with a silver handle, and she snaps a proton whip at its face. Deborah throws her proton whip to catch the first henchman, and Winston tosses the ghost trap to the ground and steps on the pedal. She slams the first henchman into the ghost trap, and Winston blasts his particle thrower to snatch the second Empyr henchman and pushes him to a wall. He bolts it to the floor until the ghost grows weary. Deborah tosses the ghost trap to the ground and compresses the pedal with her left foot; in addition, she returns to her particle thrower and slams the ghost into the ghost trap. On the other hand, a half chunk of the ghost merges from behind Deborah until Winston dashes to battle the fiend. He extracts the ghost trimmer and razes miniature duplicates. Deborah blasts her proton stream at the shredded pieces of the third Empyr henchman and slams it to the ghost trap. Deborah tosses her proton whip to clutch the fourth Empyr henchman by the neck and pulls it with force, dragging it to the ghost trap. The fifth ghost holds a bronze base and tosses it at the two ghostbusters.
"Watch out!" Winston exclaimed, and Deborah cracks the vase from hitting either of them.
Winston dodges the ghost's fists and uses the ghost trimmer to shred its fists, and Deborah blasts her proton stream to catch the last of the Empyr henchmen as Winston and she drags it into the ghost trap.
"Deborah, you're right. We knew busting ghosts can be so much fun than doing online documentaries about the paranormal." Winston responded.
"It comes within nostalgia." Deborah smiled, and she bustles to the mischievous child's trail, " come on, the child has rambled in this direction."
Winston nods his head and joins her to follow the trail, and it appears to the first bathroom door. The two young Ghostbusters, in addition, refrain noticing wood covering the door and the rusted chains locking it.
"Now what? Is there another way in since we could go through it?" Deborah queried, and the two gaze at an aperture on the wall. Deborah hears another message from Dr. Spengler and answers it, "yes?"
"Deborah, Winston. See that aperture in front of you? It's the only path to reach the child. When you head to the first bathroom, note to me or the others." Dr. Spengler pointed out, and the two Ghostbusters gaze at the aperture and tiptoe to it.
They lean against the left wall to espy on the Mischievious Child playing with two more child ghosts in the bathtub and conceal from being seen.
After being slammed into a pile of debris by the Grumpy Custodian's poltergeist form, the young Egon suffers multiple bruises and contusions in his upper back, so he removed his shirt for the older Spengler to rub pharmaceuticals to his upper and lower sides of his back. His older counterpart pours extremely warm water into the bowl with a baby blue tea pot and rolls up the dove white towel. Slimer roams to watch Dr. Spengler in his younger counterpart's aid and wipes away drips of blood.
"OK, I know persuading the grumpy custodian ghost is the worst idea since encountering the ghosts back in Argentina when traveling worldwide. Wow, this ghost is intensely feisty." Young Egon assumed, and he cringes from the sting in his upper back and pans his head to his older counterpart, "doc, take it easy with the rubbing. I'm still sore from the sonic screech of the ghost."
"If you didn't attempt to persuade the ghost, you could have talked to me first though I didn't pack my ghost traps." Dr. Spengler responded.
"I was about to until his sonic screech brushed me off from my battle stance. Ugh!" Young Egon moaned in pain.
"Just attempt not to think about the pain; otherwise, it isn't likely to go away." Dr. Spengler sighed with a slight chuckle.
"Thanks for the heads up, doc." Young Egon sighed.
"'I'll persuade you!' Is that all you can say to the grump hag ghost with just fists? That was the most inane thing you ever done." Young Peter sneered.
"Shut up!" Young Egon grumbled, slamming his head to the floor.
Slimer approaches to Venkman with a big grin, and the young Venkman glares at the green spud.
"Don't!" Peter exclaimed, and Slimer drops his head disappointed as he changes his mind, "OK, just one kiss."
Slimer chortles and smooches his vaucous lips to Peter's clean face, and he dances joyously and returns to the container, leaving ectoplasmic residue around his face. He abrades some of the residue from his eyes to catch a glimpse of the two Egons.
"I thought you were going to refuse a kiss from Slimer, and the last second, you allowed him." Young Egon remarked.
"It's the only option for him to not have myself slimed by him again after our two-year hiatus." Young Venkman stated, wiping off the residue from his face.
"By the way, there's residue in your staff shirt." Young Egon pointed out.
Peter grows in disgust of drips of residue over his polo shirt and removes it, leaving only his white tank top on.
"Please, don't ever do this stunt in front of me ever again." Dr. Spengler encouraged him.
An ebullient Deborah, dressed in a dove white tank top with a built-in padded bra and denim jeans, and Winston, in a white t-shirt and jeans, appear to the front door of the firehouse after receiving more than 3,000,000 views. Peter pans his head to his former girlfriend and fellow Ghostbuster, cocking an eyebrow.
"Good news guys, thanks to our reunion, we have 250,000,000 views." Deborah squealed, and young Egon gapes in astonishment even Dr. Spengler is satisfied with the announcement.
"That's wonderful, Deborah!" Dr. Spengler smiled.
"We have 45,762 likes, and -ooh- 12 dislikes." Young Winston stated.
"I bet one of the dislikes would be from crazy ass Vice Principal Hawkins." Peter chortled.
"You guess this one, Venkman." Deborah nodded, placing her hand to her hip.
"We were going strong after our first rendezvous in two years." Young Winston commented.
No really, I bet the ghost is trying to tear him apart. Peter thought.
An upset Ray enters the firehouse with a set of files in his hand, "he fired me. I can't believe Mr. Jameson fired me."
"For what?" Young Peter inquired.
"I explained the events of the incident at the New York History Museum, and I dropped the camera when fleeing from the apparition itself. He believed my story is nothing but a mixed up hoax driven under the balcony of despair, so he fired me." Young Ray frowned.
"Bummer, man!" Young Winston groaned.
"Hey, you have us. We are your friends, and we help out each other a lot." Deborah added.
"I agreed with Deborah's response; we are like family. You have us, you have Dr. Spengler and Slimer." Winston responded, and the younger Egon eases back to his feet and brushes the dust from his upper body. He dons back his white v-neck t-shirt.
"Don't worry, Ray. One day you can find success from all the wrongs." Dr. Spengler replied, lifting his chin with his index finger to study his face.
"Thank you, Dr. Spengler." Ray replied, and Winston and Deborah turn to one another and consent with their agreement.
Dr. Spengler grins until he receives a reading from his PKE meter, analyzing data to indicate paranormal anomaly outside of the firehouse, and heads to the control room for further analysis of the Gozerian scepter pieces. He discovers on interface the second piece of the scepter located in an abandoned apartment in the New York neighborhoods manifested with demonic spirits. He drags the interface consisted of the sightings of ghosts.
"Deborah, gentlemen, it appears I discovered the second piece of the Gozerian scepter located in the basement of the Claro Manor in the Tribeca neighborhood. It appears to be a class level 5 bi-dimensional shifter. When the full moon occurs, the ghost of Empyr, a wealthy man and serial killer who has no fair share with the people, rose to raid his ghostly attack on the visitors. He asked them for money. Empyr was a resident of the Claro Mano in 1836, and the local townspeople urge him to leave. However, he refused to leave his home and denied allegations against the men and women whom he murdered in cold blood including his own wife and unborn child. As a result, the townspeople couldn't take it anymore, so they came with pitchforks and torches to engulf the manor. The police has apprehended him, and the judge sentenced him to 244 years in prison for 50 counts of murder and sexual assault on his female victims. In addition, the officers gave him a death penalty." Dr. Spengler explained the story to the young ghostbusters.
"They hung him!" Deborah gaped.
"Yes." Dr. Spengler answered.
"A wealthy serial killer who tended to give no share. That's convenient even I read his article a year ago." Ray replied.
"That's what he gets for harming the citizens of New York." Peter sneered.
"I doubt it could've been easier to forget the adversary. Could it?" Winston inquired.
"What happens next?" Young Egon queried.
"His malignant spirit rose from the deceased at the night of the lunar eclipse as an apparition to claim his revenge on the townspeople by plotting his onslaught as he made his return to his manor. He lynched dozens of people, collecting their corpses and leaving their blood over the interior. And so, since he has the second piece of the scepter, we would gather all the pieces to prevent Zakudir from summoning Ivo Shandor back to our world." Dr. Spengler answered.
"That is the most decent story I heard, a wealthy serial killer lynching people for his enjoyment. I couldn't believe it." Peter snarled.
"According to the readings Dr. Spengler assigned on interface, we might have the chance to preclude the adversary before he entails the encounter." Ray pointed out.
"And that's where we need to be." Young Egon responded.
"Shall we?" Deborah inquired, and the young ghostbusters gear up in their old uniforms until they each experience their wardrobe malfunctions.
Deborah has a gash in the back of her navy jumpsuit; young Egon's dressed shirt's buttons pop out and rips in his light white coat; young Ray's ghostbusters' t-shirt has a gigantic hole and a gash in his grey jumpsuit; young Peter experiences a huge tear in his lower part of his jumpsuit; young Winston notices gashes in his camoflague jumpsuit and rips in his leather vest even his boots are tattered. The young ghostbusters and Deborah, back in their normal clothes, groan in disappointment even Slimer's hands drop of the embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.
"None of our old uniforms fit us anymore. What do we do?" Peter questioned, and Deborah ruffles her hair pondering of a solution.
"Boys, let's go clothes shopping!" Deborah smiled, and the others agree with her idea.
"I'm taking the Ecto-1." Young Egon called to his older counterpart.
"OK, be back here in 1 hour." Dr. Spengler recommended, and the young Ghostbusters take their ecto-1 to the nearest clothing store in the city of New York.
Deborah and the young Ghostbusters enter the Fashionista clothing line and monitors the outfits from trendy to casual for women and men. They explore the store to pick out the outfits they need.
"Which outfits you would like in busting ghosts after two years?" Deborah inquired.
"Something trendy." Young Peter answered.
"Something simple." Young Ray added.
"Something unique." Young Winston pointed out.
"Something modern that represents us." Young Egon added.
"This store has everything from shoes to bags and to gloves." Deborah smiled.
"Indeed, Deborah it is the only store packed with full garments and accessories." A modulated feminine voice called to the young ghostbusters crew, and the members pan their heads to a curvy woman of medium stature with golden blonde curly hair and tanned skin wearing a sun dress and couldroy jacket standing in front of them with a pleasing smile.
"Look who it is?" Young Winston pointed out.
I knew Trish was running the store after accepting the job. I must rely on her. Young Egon thought.
"Trish? What are you doing at the store?" Young Peter questioned with his mouth dropped.
"I'm an employee, so Venkmoron, what is a man doing around here?" The woman called Trish smirked.
"Don't play dumb with me, sister! I know your -" Venkman was interrupted by young Egon's right arm and turns to Trish.
"Listen, we got back together after two years, and our uniforms don't fit us anymore. Can you share with us the latest trends?" Young Egon inquired.
Someone needs to recommend how Venkman's reputation impacts him especially after two years inactive of the ghost hunt. Ray thought.
"Sure, you know you are just the type of guy who has taste in fashion as I do." she smirked.
"Somebody hit me upside the head!" Young Peter huffed, and Winston smacks him in the head, "thank you, Winston!"
At least Venkman has no problem telling someone to do something as recommended. Ray thought.
"I got the one for you, follow me." Trish smirked.
The crew follows their former classmate to check out the prices of the outfits. Trish reveals the classy outfits of the ghostbuster experience consisting of a leather jacket; dark grey cargo pants (and a tube skirt if one member is a female); a leather boots with grey linings; leather fingerless gloves and white elbow pads. Deborah turns her head to the others with a satisfying grin, and young Egon nods his head as the others agree with their decision.
"We'll take it." Young Egon responded.
"Fantastic." Trish smiled.
"Let's try them on and see how they feel." Deborah suggested, and the boys smirk with her idea.
They each don their gear the first time. Young Egon tightens the fingerless glove and grips his hand to form a fist. Deborah dons the tube skirt appends with the cargo pants; Ray dons the leather jacket with the no-ghost logo annexed to the right side of his chest; Winston straps on the white elbow pads; Peter laces his leather boots and tilts his head.
"How does it feel on you?" Trish queried.
"It feels comfortable." Deborah smiled.
"Trendy." Ray nodded.
"I look fantastic. I should be in a boy band!" Peter smirked.
"Before you guys can bust ghosts, mind if I photograph you?" Trish inquired.
"Sure." Young Egon smiled.
"Absolutely." Winston nodded.
"You're a photographer as well, huh?" Peter pointed out.
"Correction: fashion photographer." Trish rectified his response.
"Here's the deal, we must have one of us go first." Young Peter responded.
"With a game of Janken Pon?" Ray queried.
"You bet. I got a trick on my sleeve." he smirked.
"No, you don't." Deborah replied.
"Whoever gets beat with either rock, paper scissors, loses." Winston responded.
A game of rock, paper, scissors might be childish if I could think of it myself. Young Egon thought.
"We'll see," young Egon smirked, extending his left arm with his fist closed, "let the best buster win!"
"One, two, three!" The five young ghostbusters exclaimed in unison.
Venkman drew scissors as the four others drew rock, and his eyes squint in disgust after losing the game.
"You're first." Young Egon responded, pointing at the photoshoot with his hitchhiker's thumb.
"Let's get this over with." Peter sighed in disbelief.
Meanwhile, back at the firehouse, Dr. Spengler and Slimer investigate the cause of the psychokinetic pulse at the wake of the lunar eclipse, in which comes two weeks from their current date.
"I wonder what is happening when it hits New York?" Dr. Spengler pondered as he inputs the data module of the impact of the pulse.
He drags the interface to the monitor and discovers Ivo Shandor has granted Zakudir the rank of Gozerian Duke; in addition, the scepter power has divided into ten parts located within the areas. His eyes dilate as the significance of the pulse has taken its toll on the population. In fact, he discerns the fate affecting generations to come. Initially, the essence of it quadruples the amount of psychokinetically concussive energy permeating the horizon. Apparently, there are 10,000 witnesses who experience the tremendous activity cluster the region.
"Well? Dr. Spengler inquired.
"That looks bad." Slimer answered in aghast.
"Reprehensible, you should say. Speaking of which, I hope Deborah and the boys would be back after an hour so I can inform them on the scepter." The older Spengler responded.
The crew appears after their photoshoot with their former classmate and close friend Trish. The young Egon finishes posing for the camera and exits the set with the other young Ghostbusters and his cousin. Young Ray receives a message from Dr. Spengler in his Samsung Galaxy 10 smartphone, noting when they are returning. Deborah presses the gas pedal and pushes the button to activate the motor engine. The boys and she strap in their seat belts, and Deborah pulls the lever to drive the vehicle. The team returns to the firehouse after an hour, and young Egon presses the button to open its garage door as Deborah carefully parks the Ecto-1. She pulls the lever up to park, and the crew members exit the vehicle together as Egon locks its doors with its remote key.
"Dr. Spengler, we're back!" Young Egon called.
"This place is a graveyard when we returned." Young Peter stated with a frown.
"Maybe he's in the laboratory practically busy crafting new ghost weapons." Deborah suggested, and Dr. Spengler enters from downstairs talking on the phone.
"Janine, I will have to call you back because I have my students standing there absentmindedly, so please leave a message while you can. Bye." Dr. Spengler responded to the young Janine on the phone and turns to the team, "Welcome back."
"So, are you going to discuss about the Gozerian Scepter?" Young Egon inquired him.
"The Gozerian what?" Deborah queried.
"Dr. Spengler told me about it when I returned from my vacation." Young Egon replied.
"We have new gear, we have a new ghost to encounter later on, and we are renewing history once again." Winston smirked.
The interface reveals the scepter's model on the right-hand side of the database system, and the other young ghostbusters gaze at the screen in awe.
"As I discussed to my younger counterpart, I will share it with you as well. This scepter possesses runic magic. Now we have the first piece of the ten, it might be possible to retrieve the rest before these ghosts realize our plan. Our mission is to gather the pieces of the scepter. Here, we can prevent Zakudir from entering our world to expel his ghastly forces. Are you guys up to the task?" The older Egon questioned them.
"Yes, we can do it." Young Egon nodded.
"Good. Now you're up to the challenge; can you go to Kylie? She has your gadgets waiting for you." The older Spengler suggested.
"Sure, we can go there." Young Egon replied, and the four others and he exit the room heading to the ecto-1.
Young Egon extracts the remote key from his pocket and presses the button to activate the engine for the Ecto-1, and its headlights flash low beam. The young Ghostbusters climb into the vehicle after the older Spengler assigned them their first mission. His younger counterpart and the four others strap in their seat belts, and young Egon pulls the lever to drive mode and adjusts the mirrors. Slimer tends to join the crew, but Dr. Spengler stops him with a smirk, knowing he is staying with him. Slimer, in addition, presses his mouth down and lowers his greasy arms. Thus, the young ghostbusters understood the objective he has given. Young Egon drives the vehicle forward to the route to Kylie's apartment before heading to the Claro Manor to catch the ghost of Empyr.
The year is 2020, the city of New York appears to be normal after confronting the ghost of the infamous Thelma. The firehouse has stand there silent without the young ghostbusters and Deborah around to save New York after two years inactive, and Dr. Spengler watches the clear night sky to catch sight of the waning moon. Slimer lets out a sigh of sadness, and Dr. Spengler crosses his arms together and sits at a stool. He closes his eyes to reflect the moments he cherished when entering New York in 2018 when he accidentally activated the time machine that shifted him into the future.
"I know Slimer; it feels empty since the last time I seen Deborah and the boys together after desisting Thelma together." Dr. Spengler responded, "since I'm the only ghostbuster here, alone, it would take limit time to sort out this whole situation. It's all accessible to us."
Dr. Spengler receives an incoming transmission from the New York history museum in havoc, and his eyes gape when sensing a full-torso apparition lurking the museum floors. He drags the chart with his index finger and drags another to the virtual monitor.
"Looks like I must called in the team." Dr. Spengler responded, accessing the coordinates to contact the crew members until he hears a knock, "Slimer, can you answer the door?"
"Okie-dokie." The goop sack nodded, and he roams to the firehouse door and answers.
He discovers a youthful slender man covered in loose black cloth to cover himself; in addition, Slimer's eyes gape at his physical appearance the moment he fixes a glance at him. The figure wears a pair of navy polarized sunglasses, and his fluffy mahogany hair is covered up in a hood.
"Slimer?" A familiar low voice called, and the green goop gawks at the hooded male and slams the door, hiding from the person in the trash can, "great." he opens the firehouse door and closes gently.
He harks the computing sound of computer digits installing as he descends the basement and discovers the containment unit stable, and the scanner identifies the male figure's appearance to the surveillance camera.
"Password and identification required for the headquarters interior." A female computer voice inquired the male figure.
"Ghost adventures." his voice responded.
"Access approved, welcome to the basement." the computer voice responded.
"That was easy if I do say so myself." he smirked, and a jittery slimer pans his greasy head at the figure, "Dr. Spengler?"
He hears printers printing sufficient sources of data consisted in the investigation Dr. Spengler analyzed at the wake of the pulse. He descends the staircase to monitor the area.
"Dr. Spengler, is that you?" his voice called, and Dr. Spengler approaches to the male figure from far distance.
"Can I help you?" Dr. Spengler questioned the figure.
"I'm here to discuss about the ghost hunt." the stranger responded.
"Sorry, but the sign says it's closed. I'd suggest you come tomorrow." Dr. Spengler responded, attempting to close the door at the figure, but he places his left foot to refrain it from closing.
"Look! I'm here because I came back from my vacation in Puerto Rico and examined paranormal sights along the way." he demanded.
"What are you talking about?" Dr. Spengler inquired, with his left eyebrow raised in confusion.
"Doc, it's me!" The male unveils himself from the jet black cloth, revealing an athletic body, a light grey loose tank top and the rest of his mahogany quaffed hair. He tilts his sunglasses upward to reveal his auburn eyes, "your younger counterpart!"
"Wait!" Dr. Spengler gasped in shock, and his head tilts to check his physical appearance.
"Jeez, you haven't even called me and know what I'm doing lately." his younger counterpart replied.
"Well, if it isn't my younger counterpart. I'm sorry that I mistaken you for someone else." Dr. Spengler responded.
"Neither do I." His younger counterpart replied, scratching his head, "what do we have?"
"First off, I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't noticed you're underneath the scarf and shades, and welcome back by the way. It appears we have an incident at the New York History museum, involving a class level six full-torso apparition that traumatized one of the security guards at the Gozerian exhibit, and I'm going to investigate the cause of this incident unless you would like to discuss it." Dr. Spengler suggested, and he takes the lead as Slimer watches him leave.
"Alright, doc." The younger Egon smiled, and Dr. Spengler takes steps back with a serious expression.
"By the way, you need to change your shirt." he responded, young Egon nods.
After waiting for his younger counterpart, Dr. Egon Spengler arrives at the address of the museum in the 2021 Cadillac Hearse. Police activity is surrounding the entrance of the museum, and witnesses react to the ghostly scene especially one of the guards who was at the clemency of the ghosts. Dr. Spengler opens the driver door of the vehicle to catch a view of the museum, and his younger counterpart, in a plain white v-neck t-shirt and jet black vest, joins him to investigate the cause of the incident encircling the horizon.
"I have learned a new ghost under the name Zakudir, the God of Evil and Destruction, wanted to expand the levels of horror in Ivo Shandor's name." Dr. Spengler explained.
"Zakudir?" Young Egon inquired.
"Yes, Zakudir. He's one of Ivo Shandor's top henchmen, and his sole purpose is to plot Armageddon, bringing the ghost world to its highest and our world at its lowest. The only key source to rid its potential impact is with the Gozerian scepter." Dr. Spengler answered.
"Gozerian scepter? What is that?" he asked.
"The Gozerian scepter is a renowned weapon which possessed hidden powers attributed to Sumerian lecture. After the Sumerians inter the scepter, because of its formidable power, Ivo Shandor claimed it in his possession and scattered half the Earth. For centuries, the people of Mesopotamia start to wonder how the manifestation permeated the Earth at its unfortunate wake occurred when the Moon passes behind the Earth." Dr. Spengler answered.
"The lunar eclipse, so tonight is the night Ivo Shandor allowed him to scatter pandemonium around us. Oh my goodness, with the scepter in the wrong hands, it would be the Earth would be in danger with a myriad of ghosts around." he gasped.
"Right now, I was fortunate to find the first piece of the scepter, and there are nine more pieces we need to retrieve." Dr. Spengler replied, lifting the caution tape to allow his younger counterpart to examine the interior of the museum that was vandalized.
"Hey, you can't be in here!" One of the officers shouted at the two, but Dr. Spengler reveals his Ghostbusters ID to him.
"Not to worry! He's part of the ghost busting crew." Young Egon appeased the police officers, allowing his older counterpart to investigate the damage.
"Ghostbusters, hmm? I'll let you two in." he replied.
"Thank you." Young Egon nodded, and he leads his older counterpart to the interior and enters the Gozerian exhibit, "so, this is where the Gozerian exhibit has left its sudden trail. I supposed we could perceive the wonders of the exhibit along the way."
The duo gawks at a newspaper photographer taking snapshots of one of its exhibit attractions, and the younger counterpart strides and approaches to him.
"Excuse me, sir. This exhibit is closed for ghost investigation. You are required outside." Young Egon responded, and the cameraman with fluffy ginger hair takes a snapshot of the ceiling, "hey sir!" He touches his shoulder, and the person wearing a white dressed shirt and jet black dressed pants matching his business jacket yelps and almost drops his digital camera as his crystal blue eyes fixes at his, "Ray?"
"Egon?" the ginger-haired boy inquired, "are you examining the exhibit as well?"
"Yes, I am. I have waited my life for this investigation after I visited the firehouse once more." The younger Egon replied.
"I see you visited Dr. Spengler," he nodded, "how have you been?"
"I've been fantastic. I have traveled over the world from New York to Japan and to Australia, interviewing class level 1-4 full-bodied apparitions and wrestled with class level 5-7 vicious wraiths manifesting in every corner, and I also published a new book, paranormal phenomenon 102 featuring Egon Spengler the third." Young Egon smiled, revealing his latest book to him.
"Wow, that's impressive." Ray replied.
"How about you?" he asked.
"I've been working at the Daily Bugle; I'm working as an investigational correspondent for crimes linked to the incident. That's why Mr. Jameson appointed me to cover this story as part of page one to supplant the photos of Spider-Man." Young Ray answered.
"Deborah's favorite superhero." Young Egon responded, and young Ray nods his head and wipes the lens of his 3000 digital SLR camera.
"I see you found Ray." The older Egon responded, approaching to his younger counterpart.
"Splendid to see your face again, Dr. Spengler." the younger Ray replied.
"I see you became a photographer for a newspaper company." Dr. Spengler nodded.
"Indeed, I devoted my life to investigate events prior to fascinating objectives." Young Ray nodded.
"Listen, we are here to investigate what is going on in the corridors of the museum. There's another God, class level six who caused Armageddon with all the pieces fit. We come across a class level four full-bodied apparition haunting the Gozerian exhibit; luckily, Dr. Spengler discovered the first piece at the firehouse." Young Egon responded, showing a piece of the scepter to him.
"What's this?" Young Ray inquired, surveying the composition of the weapon.
"It's the first piece of the Gozerian scepter." Dr. Spengler answered Ray.
"The Gozerian scepter? I need to know more of the scepter for the next page of the newspaper." Young Ray responded, and Dr. Spengler provides him the information he needs on the scepter in his device. The holographic data pops up to disclose relevant facts of the scepter and the schematic model of the scepter.
Meanwhile, a young woman with messy, layered light brown hair wearing cat eye glasses, in her formal business wear, interviews their witness, a female guard who confronted the ghost creeping the Gozerian exhibit as another guy in casual wear, African American, pans the video camera to catch a glimpse of the hallways for any suspicious activity and turns back to the woman.
"Can you describe for us the ghost's appearance when you confronted it?" the female's honeyed voice asked the female guard.
"I noticed the ghost doesn't have a body, but its voice is croaky, dragging me to this room during my night shift." the traumatized guard answered, describing the ghost to the woman.
"A voice with a croaky voice? Sounds like a scathing do-hooker dragging her." the African American male replied, turning his head apart from the camera to the woman.
"Were you alone at the dead of night?" the male asked the guard.
"Yes." she nodded.
"Is there someone else at the museum with you?" the ginger-haired female queried.
"No, not really." she answered in weariness.
"I agree with the segment we have, Winston. There's a lot of ghosts manifesting in New York that we are uncertainty of besides the fact we busted Thelma." the woman replied.
"Of course, Deborah. We can see clearly catching ghosts and filming documentaries about it makes us feel connected, and catching ghosts makes it more fun than documenting the paranormal." he responded.
"I'll be honest, I wish we just go back to the old days in catching various ghosts and understanding where we are heading to." she sighed.
"We each risked our lives to protect the city and state of New York from these entities." Winston nodded.
"You could say that, again." Deborah replied.
"Are we too late for the documentary, Deborah, Winston?" a masculine voice called to them from the back, and it was the younger Egon alongside his older counterpart and the younger Ray.
"Cousin Egon, doc, Ray." Deborah responded, and she cuddles with her cousin and Dr. Spengler.
Winston approaches to Ray and shakes his hand, "boy, am I glad to see you?"
"I see you're a camera man for a documentary series, and Deborah is the hostess of it." Ray smiled.
"Yes we are. We are filming a documentary series called paranormal diaries, a web series that people are explaining their paranormal experiences, and we are currently filming season 3, episode 7 here." Winston commented.
"This should be front page news." Young Ray smiled, and he flashes his digital camera.
"I'm talking a reunion of the group." Young Egon smirked, and an animated tiki sneaks behind the Older Egon.
"I see the four of you have met once more. Hopefully, we could clear these objectives." The older Egon stated, and its ghastly hand touches his left shoulder as he yells in shock even Deborah notices its fragile appearance.
From behind the tiki, a brunette haired male with ivory skin in his elementary school staff gear unveils himself and chuckles, "did I scare you or what?"
"Peter?!" Deborah exclaimed.
"You do know how to make an entrance." Young Egon replied.
"Fascinating." Young Ray smiled, jotting information in his iPad.
"Nice to see you too, Debs." Young Peter smirked, hopping out of the manikin.
"So, what brought you here?" Young Egon queried.
"I was a chaperone for a kids' field trip, and I heard at the news on sightings of paranoia in the New York History Museum. I snook up inside without getting caught, disguised as a tiki of a different exhibit, and -ack- I scared the hell out of doc. So, what's going on with you guys lately?" Peter chuckled, and Dr. Spengler sweeps him though he evade it.
"Winston and I are filming our paranormal web series called paranormal diaries, and we are currently on our seventh episode of our third season." Deborah replied.
"Our show has 3,000,000 views." Winston added.
"I became an investigational correspondent for the top news paper company called the Daily Bugle. I was appointed to cover this incident for our front page news." Ray answered.
"I traveled around the world to seek for various ghosts and battle demons; oh, and I also published a new book and became the most renowned American paranormal investigator to travel to different countries." Young Egon smirked.
"So, you're the superstar now. I'm jealous of your work." Young Peter replied.
"For me, I'm still at the firehouse with Slimer, so I'm the only person here." the older Egon answered.
"Since the five of us are back together, with thanks to Dr. Spengler, we are here to encounter a ghost haunting this very museum." Young Egon replied.
The five newly reunited young ghostbusters and Dr. Spengler exit the lobby to investigate paranormal sightings of the museum. Dr. Egon Spengler follows a cold trail the ghost left and receives a set of readings from his PKE meter, and he refrains his students from engaging in the attempt to strike and monitor the appearance of the ghost.
Deborah turns to Winston and asks, "are we still rolling?"
"It's here." Dr. Spengler replied, and the ghost is described as a translucent, slick male in his late 60's working as a grumpy custodian. His body is like a gash of freezing sprinkles, and his eyes dimly white.
"A class level 4 full-bodied apparition. Looks intense." Deborah whispered.
"Although Mr. Jameson doesn't believe in superstition nor the fact people don't believed in ghosts, especially in paranormal sightings, it should be the main scoop for this week's page." Young Ray replied, and he photographs the debris it has left on the ground.
"Camera is rolling in three, two, ..." Winston pointed out and rolls the footage.
"We are entering the Gozerian exhibit where most of the Gozer stuff is kept. Gozer the Gozerian is the semi-deity who caused trouble for us in the past, so I'm not going to give much of the details away. I'll leave it to my cousin Egon Spengler the third. Is this your first time?" Deborah asked her cousin.
"Actually yes, I traveled from here to Japan and to Australia to communicate with the dead and talked with witnesses on the events pertaining to the paranormal." Young Egon answered.
"The viewers would like you to communicate with the spirit for us." Deborah replied.
"Sure, I can do that." Young Egon nodded, and he approaches to the ghost from far distance and activates the portable audio recorder from his belt, "hello there," he extends his left hand to communicate with the ghost, "my name is Egon Spengler III, and this is the New York History Museum. Can you tell me where are you from and why did you terrified the guests?"
The custodian disregards his questions and continues mopping the floor in peace. Young Egon knits his eyebrows and ambles to the ghost with his left hand still extended.
"I'm going to repeat the question, 'can you tell me where are you from and why did you terrified the guests?'" Young Egon repeated.
"Egon, I don't think the ghost is communicating with you nor us." Winston pointed out.
"This ghost is ignorant by its looks." Peter quipped.
"Not now, Peter." Deborah whispered to him with a glare.
"So what? It's not when the ghost wants to share his feelings, or maybe they don't." he cracked.
"So, you want to play hard ball, hmm." Young Egon insisted.
"I don't think you should persuade the ghost to answer your question..." Dr. Spengler advised him, and his younger counterpart extends his right hand to refrain him from warning.
"Doc, sometimes the impossible desires its outcome until the person conquers it." he stated.
I knew our Egon's incentive changed when we disbanded two years ago, and the only thing matters now is his attempt. Is going to risk my career? Young Ray pondered.
"If you won't answer my question, then I'll persuade you." Young Egon convinced, and he dashes to the ghost until it transforms to its grotesque form and performs sonic screech to drift him away, slamming him to a concrete wall.
I doubt he attempted to persuade the ghost in a biblical fashion. Young Ray thought.
"I wasn't expecting this one." Young Winston replied with his left eyebrow raised.
Dr. Spengler, in addition, rushes to aid his injured younger counterpart and hustles back to the others.
"Winston, new plan." Deborah pointed out, and the others gawk at her, "Retreat!"
The group, except Winston and a subconscious young Egon, screams in horror, perceiving its horrendous form. The members flee the ghastly scene with an injured young Egon failing to impress Deborah's viewers for her hit paranormal documentary; the younger Ray accidentally flashes his camera when fleeing from the scene, and the crew sprints down the staircase and rushes to the officers. Nonetheless, Dr. Spengler could have warned his younger counterpart in detail of the ghost's atypical manifestation before his form of persuasion.
"We have to flee, class-level 4 full bodied apparition gone berserk!" the older Egon exclaimed.
"Well, what's going on? Did you find anything? What does it appear to be?" the superintendent of the New York police department queried.
"We'll have you the results later on." Dr. Spengler answered, and the crew hustles to the vehicle and retreats from the museum and back to the firehouse after an unpleasant encounter with the ghost.
