 UPDATE: i made her height a little more proportionate to her body! also i wasn't proud of her casual/civilian outfit so i changed it up!! :> ALSO SHE DIDN'T HAVE THE INTERDIMENSIONAL WATCH WHICH WAS A HUGE MISTAKE ON MY PART... MY BAD, GANG...

yeah, uh! Spidersona is FINALLY here!! i really don't know what came over me when making her (yes i do, i really wanted to make one for a long, long time lol) and i somehow did it!!! :'D

geez, making superhero outfits/suits are HARD... especially Spiderman-esque suits since ya know... they have to resemble and personalize said Spider-person: the webbing patterns, the mask & eyes, and just... everything. LMFAOOOO

anyways!! SHE'S HERE 🎉🎉🎉

her name is Water Strider, the aquatic Spider-woman of Earth-2024!

a semi-short summary of her & her abilities!!

    • she's 25 & is a graduate student in Sub-Hattan, a portmanteau of "Submerged" and "Manhattan"! half of Earth-2024 was completely engulfed by rising water levels and climate change, and half of the planet's population was wiped out. however, some had survived and adapted to the new, drastic change. the change of Earth also gave rise to a cavalcade of dangerous, mutated creatures that lurk in the mysterious expanse of the water

    • she was bitten by a mutated sub-spider while she was doing an underwater research project of bioluminescent plants and animals. the sub-spider had blended in with the plants with its bioluminescence, and it completely altered her body & DNA to match its appearance and "abilities"

    • Gavi starts her Spider-woman adventures two months after she receives her powers, stopping petty crime and super-villains across Sub-Hattan! she even comes up with the hero alias of Water Strider, named after the water-insect for being able to walk and run on water!! her abilities are modeled after the real-life Diving Bell Spider!!! 

            ▹ her abilities are:

                ➢ Spider-like abilities: she gain superhuman strength, durability, stamina, healing, agility & reflexes and can stick to walls/buildings! however, she lacks a "spider-sense," since her abilities are permanently linked to her DNA.
               ➢ Web/silk creation: the DNA alteration allows her to create & unleash a particular type of webbing from her wrists and make webs to sling around in and can create "diving bell" webs to entrap her enemies in.
                ➢ Skilled Martial Artist: trains heavily in Capoeira, which combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music; mainly known for its acrobatic and complex maneuvers, often involving hands on the ground and inverted kicks & emphasizes using the lower body to kick, sweep and take down.

                ➢ Enhanced Flexibility: able to bend and twist her body beyond the normal limits of physiology to propel her spider-like abilities; although still only from the joints.

                ➢ Bioluminescence and Fangs: the DNA alteration permanently sharpened her canines to small fangs & allows her to glow completely in the dark.
               ➢ Water walking/running: the DNA alteration made her palms & soles have a special type of tissue that can adhere to water surfaces.
