ah nevermind - stupid me - did you use the picture as base traced or gritted or is it fully redrawn?
I did trace on top of the photo, much like using a light box. I do this sometimes, depending on what kind of time i have to complete a piece. For instance, the Joker picture was inspired by a photo of Jackie Martling AKA Jackie the Jokeman from the howard stern show. He did an interview in a magazine and they dressed him in a jester costume. The final paint doesn't look anything like him as i was able to warp his features to look more menacing when i drew it from scratch.

I'm glad you liked the piece, I'm working on a website now actually. :)

Indeed very beautiful.
Do you have an official website? I would love to know how you work :)
Do you use references or models? The detail of realism is quite mindblowing.

Really beautiful work ! Bravo ! ++ Cyrille :)
Thanx so much, i really enjoyed your gallery as well, particularly 'Fragile'. Would you mind me asking what your brush settings generally were for that piece?

I only use the round brush varying in size (not the airbrush) with an opacity varying from 25% to 95% :) I'm really happy you like it ! ^^

And thanks for the :+fav: ! :D
