Sims3 to Sims4 Tombstone and Urn Conversion

You're not doin' it unless you're OVER doin' it!

So, I converted the Sims2 Urns and Tombstones to give myself some variety for my graveyard.  But, of course, what really would provide that was the Sims3.  And ... wow.  They sure did like their graves in the Sims 3.  

I did my best to match the colours form screenshots I took of the game.  Of course they probably don't match 100%, but I did my best.  I wish I could have done the Into the Future graves better, but there's no appropriate shaders for holograms in the Sims 4, so they wound up looking like glass.  Well ... what can you do?  If there's ever a hologram object introduced into the Sims4 I'll take another swing at this project and update this monstrosity.  Also, sadly, I couldn't get the gears on the Plumbot grave or urn to animate.  It's just not a thing for Sims4 objects, I guess.  And the extracted texture from the Sims3 also didn't animate?  I don't get it, but whatever.  Good enough is good enough.

All these graves can have epitaphs engraved.  Additionally I've included tuning for lights for the ITF tombstones and that one urn. (Why did only the one urn have a light?)  The gnome tombstone includes the tuning for the standard gnomes so you can view it and dust for prints, unlike the others.  The Horse and Unicorn tombstones and urns share the same mesh.  This set also includes the Forbidden Tomb from Grim's Ghoulish Mansion and another I modified that has no leaves for better placement inside of a catacomb.  

Someone else made the Midnight Hollow graves, but one was missing and the prices and descriptions weren't true to the Sims3, so I did them too.

So I found out that I was missing a tombstone from Sims3 just today.  From the Dragon Valley set.  I have all the rest - they've been converted.  They're easy to find online.  I COULD just rip the ONE tombstone I need.  However ... HOWEVER, that's just not the way I think.

I've added a more game-accurate swatch to the Forbidden Tomb .... but it's so dark it's hard to make out any details, so I kept my own lighter swatch as a second option.

I am now 100% certain I ripped the texture map of the forbidden tomb correctly.  Additionally I added seasons functionality to the gnome tombstone so it works with the gnome holiday.

Minor edits.  All tombstoens can now be struck by lightning and talked to by the insane.  Also I de-shined the Forbidden Tomb.   Yeah, it was pretty shiny in Sims3, but I began to think it looked out of place and finally got around to editing it.  Also the gnome tombstone no longer fully participated during Harvestfest.  After all, it's dead!  You can still kick it, though.

Equalized the distance switch for higher quality models.  So higher quality models are used closer up.

Iced Cream's Urn Binding and Summoning mod allows you to bind ghosts to tombstones and Urns.  I've updated the Into the Future tombstone to include this tuning and more, so they can now become functional!  I've made my own mod my own mod to made other deco tombstones function as well.
