New Year Switch-ups
Switched: Warriors and Vixen eat meatIt happened in an instant, too quick for even the most seasoned of veterans to react to. A strange wave of distorted magic had spread out and took effect on specific individuals, which was something of a blessing. But for those affected, it was a jarring experience at first. Even stranger was that the Kafra and Zonda Corporations were affected, but still opted to try to keep the event plans going. It was noble of them to press on, yet the circumstances were certainly different. The corporations made certain to note they were joint researching a means to revert everyone to normal. It would take some time, so it was suggested to work with the event details and try to fulfill requests to pass the time, preferably in character so no problems would arise.
Back to School
Rosalia Basic Fighting Course"Honestly Ma-kun... There's really no need to worry about my safety. It's just Geffen." Rosalia chirped as she was preparing for her trip to Geffen.
Rosalia Zeny Course"So how do you usually make money? I'm pretty certain you need to buy some potions for mana and maybe even armor and weapons." Alan commented as he was following after Rosalia and holding a notebook to write everything down.
Rosalia's Guide to Free Candy"Alright! Now we get to learn how to act around other people~! Always be kind and courteous!" Rosalia stated as she brought Alan to Prontera, the place where all of the beginner adventurers would be.
Rosalia's Guide to Party FunRosalia appeared within the Payon Dungeon with Alan as the mage was looking around the dungeon wearily. "You do realize that there's only so much I can do here right? Especially if you decid-" The mage was cut off as she took his wrist and took off running through the dungeon, heading deeper and deeper into the dungeon until they were at the very last floor.
Kafra-Zonda for a Month
Kafra Temp Subject - ScholarVivian didn't expect to pull a Kafra Uniform out of her closet for the month, yet there she stood in front of a mirror. She grumbled at the standards needed to wear the thing, motivated by the prospect of something different to explore. Recently, the Kafra Corporation sent notices for temporary employees that could end up sending anyone almost anywhere. Being a veteran adventurer, it was exciting to try out and see how she'd fare. She hoped her secretarial experience would be a factor, even with the irritating dress requirement and not getting assigned to Comodo.
GTRO Event: Temporary Kafra Masato 2Scratch Glast Heim, he hated Geffen the most. It had too many bad memories for him. Mainly of the orphanage that his daughter used to live in. He would rather watch the town burn down then ever watch his daughter step foot on this place again. He never wanted her to remember the time in the orphanage, and the constant bullying from both orphans and caretakers alike. He wondered if the Kafra's had something against him, first he had to wear the Comodo female uniform, now he was being sent to Geffen to provide save service for others. He could already feel the migraine coming, and he hoped that this would be over soon.
Kafra Temp Subject - BiochemistAfter dealing with a scammer's attempt to deceive her, Vivian resumed her duties as a temporary Kafra for more funding. It was great to get out and do something familiar, but she absolutely detested the uniform and wondered how the traditional employees could deal with it for hours. As she mulled over the cons, a Biochemist approached her with ginger steps. Vivian noticed movement and noticed an uncomfortable spring in the Biochemist's step, turning to help out.
Kafra-Zonda Dates and Pranks
GtRO - Pranking HubbyA devious, simple plan had manifest into the head of a sleeping Wife, overnight. A rather easy thing to do against her worrywart Husband, she decided to give it a shot and see the result. It was later than intended, since they were both busy parents that also wanted time to themselves, but she wanted to do it to celebrate the anniversary of their confessions to each other. Sivard and Vivian's parenting was certainly put to the test, as their Twins had indeed reached the 'terrible twos' stage. While Vivian had experience with such youth, Sivard had little preparation and was the subject of many "bonding" scenarios. With Sivard cutting his hair again, in response to his grabby Sons, Vivian saw an opportunity to prank him.

Goat to go on an Adventure
Goat to go on an adventureKeal was gasping, his lungs hurt from the running, or maybe was it his ribs? The goat in his arms obviously didn't like the treatment and made sure to kick his side at each step while they were escaping from the sea of furious goats. He grit his teeth. Luckily, he was trained to endure the pain, and he knew soon they can finally stop and catch their breath.
GtRO Event - Please, Teacher! - BashAutumn was finally en route to the continent of Midgard, signalling the close of Summer. With the rather haphazard, yet successful, Summer Festival completed, the focus was now getting set for cold, holiday plans, seasonal food, and, considered most important to some, education! Autumn was a major symbol of returning back to studies for children and higher-end students, fervor and groaning echoing throughout the three nations like a chorus. Amid the scent of fresh fruit and season appropriate sales among the merchants, the Izlude Orphanage was as busy as ever to prepare their youths for the coming changes.
Valentine's Day Events
Staying StrongIt was another quiet day for Vivian to ponder important details. She finally got some peace from holding and feeding her newborn babies in the infirmary, but a smile had yet to grace her face. Nowhere was the grin of the confident Super Novice that people had grown accustomed to. Instead, she stared at the ceiling to mull over any details she could have missed in regards to her missing Husband. Someone had it out for Ryouhei, and Vivian spent her time considering every single detail that could incriminate anyone. Even using the idea of translating Reiru the Alpaca, not many details could emerge. All she got was a scarf, a swift foe that could throw blades and use of warp magic. She wanted to believe a Ninja or Assassin could have tried something, but the warp magic didn't make sense to her. Neither of them have that ability, something only Acolytes and Super Novices could perform. Who could have planned such a thing on her Husband? Whoever, or whatever, it could have been, she knew her
Home Sweet New Home Event
GtRO - New Sweet Home Event - Poor FamilyOnce again, the continent of Midgard was on its way toward the beginning of Fall. Toward the end of Summer, it would be time to wind down and prepare for new work, fortifying established businesses and relationships and bracing for a wave of new beginnings. It was time to put in some work, which is what the Prontera Cathedral had in droves. There were many families looking into moving for various reasons, ranging from health to business. For someone like Ayra Kazunari, this was work she initially didn't mind. For all she knew, it was just making recommendations to new dwelling places. She decided to volunteer for the task, but later found that she would have to actually showcase the suggestions, as if she were a guide. Taking advantage of her work ethic, the Church once again got the socially averse Royal Guard to try interacting with people again...
GtRO MVPs Unlocked! - Bapho PlansSome time after the unpredictable Scavenger Hunt ended, another exciting prospect emerged to entice adventurers. Throughout the Three Nations, flyers of special challenges were displayed that focused on strong monsters. Anyone could just track down and tackle these so-called ‘MVPs’, though the results of such hunts were varied, but what if there were extra string attached? There were some monsters that required summoning, but were fewer in number and only tackled by the most devoted hunters or guilds. Thus, this was a great way to challenge even the most seasoned of monster hunters, while granting those who weren’t so focused on them to experience something different.
GtRO Event - It's in the Stars - AyraConstellations and planets, birthdays and symbols that range from animals to things you'd find in a living room or study, with a dash of supernatural. These seemingly uncommon themes are brought up to describe and to match up traits for possible relationships and fortune. When this happens, it means that the zodiac fad has returned to sweep across Midgard once again. Many have gone through great lengths to study and ensure complete knowledge of their own 'sign' and its compatibility with others. Some even live and die by these details, the fervor equivalent to a religious zealot. To others, its an interesting piece of lore to think about when dealing with other types of people. For all they know, it could pave the way for new friendships, romances or just more humor. In this instance, a person within Midgard will be compared and contrasted from the typical results of the symbol they fall under.

GtRO - What Are Friends For?
Another strike, another pop of a Poring. Raelyn could feel her eyes glazing over. How much time had passed? She had no way of being able to tell in this place, and the tedious task of trying to find the artifact was starting take its toll on her. At this point, she would almost welcome fighting the mobs of Injustices earlier, if only because it provided more challenge and excitement than just destroying an indeterminate number of Porings one-by-one. If the white-robed man's intention was to drive them insane, then he had picked an effective method to do so.
Shaking her head to clear herself of the distracting thoughts, Raelyn struck out at yet another Poring with her staff. Even with her meager strength, the Porings didn’t last long under a direct hit from a weapon, and it was faster to just reserve her spells for those outside of her reach anyway. But no matter what she tried, it was just so… inefficient. Under ordinary circumstances, she could clear out this
GtRO - Back to Work
Raelyn eventually tore her gaze away from Syncertus, though the pit of her stomach still felt queasy. How did he know where she was? He wasn’t following her, was he? No, that couldn’t be it. He already had Jian checking up on her occasionally, anyway. So it was just a coincidence, then?
No matter. She’d just steer clear of him, and it appeared as if the Royal Guard was of similar opinion, for he was preoccupied with casually popping Porings with his spear.
Raelyn returned her attention to the matter at hand. Deciding that she would rather not have a repeat of the earlier incident, she flicked her wrist. A faint ball of flame was conjured above one hand. With a toss, she sent the Sight Blaster circling lazily around her head. It wasn’t much of a defense compared to Safety Wall, perhaps, but at least she could retain her mobility.
A quick spark jumped from the crown of her staff, zigzagging through the air before zapping the closest Poring. In honesty, she had to
GtRO - No Lifer
Alabaster’s expression was simply priceless. It was almost worth the trek to this place.
Syncertus readied his spear, facing the horde of Porings he had gathered from the girl. In truth, when he had been scouting this place as a potential training ground for Kymina and Hyro, he hadn’t expected to run into her and Alabaster. She hadn’t expected him, either; even now, as he drove his Imperial Spear through several Porings in a series of quick jabs, he could feel the intensity of his gaze boring into the back of his head.
Jian hadn’t been joking when he mentioned that the girl seemed to hold some resentment towards him.
His shield slammed down upon a Poring, splattering bits of the hapless monster in all directions. By this point, the Porings that had been taunted by his earlier Provoke littered the ground in heaps of featureless goops. The others had learned to steer clear of him, but their large numbers kept them from having anywhere to run. With a swift

Luckily, Raelyn still had her dagger for close combat. But before she could reach for it a spear stabbed into a Poring and the ground right in front of her, just barely missing her. Even as the Poring giblets splattered everywhere, Raelyn froze. Slowly, her gaze trailed up the blue spear to the narrowed amber eyes of it's wielder. Instantly, her throat felt dry.
Syncertus didn’t say anything, but directed his attention elsewhere and made a gesture with his free hand. Raelyn couldn’t see what exactly he was doing, but one by one, several of the Porings stopped throwing themselves at her to hop over to the Royal Guard instead. Wordlessly, he turned to stride off, a train of Porings following closely behind him. With no more Porings around her, Raelyn was able to push herself up into a sitting position, still staring after the man.
What was he doing here?
“Well met, Alabaster,” she heard Syncertus call out. There was a slight pause as he dropped his gaze.
GtRO - Downed
So from what she gathered, the white-robed Poring summoner’s magic was only blocking area of effect spells for whatever reason. That was… inconvenient, to say the least.
Raelyn frowned, flicking her staff upwards; in the same motion, earth and stone burst upward into a pointed spike, striking an unfortunate Poring from beneath. Behind her, she could hear a few splats, presumably from the deaths of Porings at her guildmate's hands. Some distance away, she could see a familiar Scholar from Morning Glory methodically zapping Porings while her Arch Bishop companion… sat by an ate cake?
...Disregarding that last part.
As far as Raelyn could see, no one was using any area of effect skills, either, and with so few of them, it would take a long time to get through all of these Porings.
Maybe this was supposed to be a punishment somehow.
Exhaling slowly, the High Wizard raised her staff to prepare another spell. To her unease, several of the nearest Porings turne

This was… not working as well as Raelyn had hoped. The Porings were easy to kill, true, but there were so many of them that she literally couldn’t move without stepping on one. The sea of Porings was just endless.
“Sir Monodon!” Monodon, who was busy watching the scene in utter bafflement, gave a start. “What happened? Where did all these Porings come from?”
"Err…” For a moment, the Rune Knight seemed at lost at how to answer, but recovered soon enough. “A strange white-robed man appeared while those two-” here, he gestured at the two guild leaders, “-were arguing over the artifact. Mentioned something called woe...? And then knocked the artifact out of the Paladin's hand.” He stopped to nudge a Poring that had been trying to chew his cape away with his spear. “....And now there's Porings everywhere and the man is gone, so I assume he had something to do with it.” Another pause. “I don't li
GtRO - Mobbed Again...?
"Waugh!" One moment, Raelyn had been trying to coax Elden in just taking a break from the earlier excursion. The next, she found herself face-down on the ground, a sudden moving mass on her back. A flash of panic shot through her - at least until she heard... squeaks?
Confused, Raelyn tried to flip over, but she was pinned down by the combined weight of what felt like jelly. The High Wizard mentally groaned. This certainly wasn't the first time she had been swarmed by Porings, but she hoped it would be the last. Where did they even come from? Last she saw of the others, they were just arguing over something - probably the artifact that were supposed to be looking for. There hadn’t been any Porings around at the time, let alone this many.
Raelyn tried to shake off the Porings, but to no avail; each time some were dislodged from her back, others replaced them. There was just too little room for her and the Porings to move. Desperately, she cast a glance around. Through the n

“Um… Excuse me…!” Raelyn hesitated again, wondering how to address the stranger who was in her path. Was he even with either of the guilds? “Mister, uh, Guillotine Cross… person?” Smooth. “Would you mind, erm… moving away?” She finished her request rather lamely, even to her own ears, but she could already feel the old anxiety of talking to someone unfamiliar constricting her throat. Worse, he didn’t seem to hear her at all -- no, wait.
Raelyn studied the Guillotine Cross more closely. The man had made a very slight turn of his head that was difficult for an untrained eye to catch, but she quickly recognized it as a sign of acknowledgement. So at least he had heard her; problem was, would he listen? To her relief, he shifted his weight a bit, as if about to move away-

GtRO Raid - DDs Adjust
No sooner had Raelyn freed herself from the Champion and stood did something else whiz past her. She glanced over in the direction of the source, then hurriedly threw herself down. It was in nick of time, too; another stray bullet flew through the open air where her head had been a split second ago. The High Wizard gritted her teeth, feeling a rare surge of irritation. It didn’t take much to guess who the culprit was. That boy will kill someone he doesn’t intend to one of these days.
And it wasn’t the first time he had pulled such a reckless stunt, either. Just the memory of the last time, when his grenade had nearly blown up a trapped Galinthias, renewed the fury she had felt back then. Once the Scholar -- thank goodness for her quick thinking -- encased the bullets in ice so that they no longer phased through Gloom Under Night, Raelyn was back on her feet again. She held her staff out, feeling it draw upon her mana. The mana swirled around her weapon before b
GtRO - Gloom Under Night: Frost Weapon
Honestly, Shion felt gratified when the high wizard's Jupitel Thunder launched the Gloom Under Night toward the “singing” duo in the far back. Well, she wasn’t sure it could still be called singing when the sounds they were making were so ear-splitting that they even debuffed the boss monster, to say nothing of the humans in the vicinity. After the crackle and pop of an electrical explosion, the noise finally ceased. Shion mentally released a sigh of relief – when outraged screaming promptly replaced the original racket. The scholar could feel a headache coming on. How could they still be this loud without amplifiers?
All of a sudden, one of the so-called singers blasted through the Gloom Under Night and – Shion grimaced – punched the wizard right smack in the face. Before long, a hail of bullets also burst through, prompting the scholar to erect a safety wall to protect herself and any allies nearby. What kind of idiot was shooting normal bullets at
GtRO Raid - She Deserves It, Honestly
The Gunslinger didn’t seem too happy about the damage to his music equipment. Well, no matter. Raelyn would deal with the instruments later, or perhaps maybe even avoid the issue entirely; the boy’s anger was directed towards the Gloom Under Night, so maybe he didn’t notice that she was the actual one responsible. Besides, Gloom Under Night was a far greater concern at the moment. She darted to one side to avoid a Fireball that had been haphazardly flung in her general direction, then whirled around to face the behemoth. Despite the monster’s impassive face, the High Wizard could sense the unbridling fury towards the humans that stood in its way. Unfortunately for it, none of them seemed likely to run off at this stage of the fight, especially with the attacks bombarding it from various angles visibly wearing it down.
With her feet planted shoulder-width apart, Raelyn tapped the end of the staff on the ground in front of her. A thick miasma emerged from thin air
