Description
I finally came up with a re-design that I was happy with for my Captain America re-design theme this month. The question is, how do you keep him looking patriotic, but different at the same time?! I wanted to incorporate the red and white stripes like the original Cap's uniform, but they never really worked until this version. It's weird, you never really understand how iconic a superhero costume can be until you sit down and try to reinvent it!

It's an excellent costume for a patriotic superhero, but somehow it just doesn't say "Captain America" to me. It would work for the superhero American Crusader. :)
