Interesting, the main energy reactor (?) on the 1st panel resembles a lot the warp core reactor
of the Star Trek spaceships. :) Since I never really watched Doctor Who, what is that "reactor"?

BTW, your comic is great. ;)

nothing. that "reactor" means nothing serious. Doctor Who is not a show who cares a lot about technicality like that. Quite the opposite of Star trek.

And that blue tube here was never truly explained. it's just cool.

If you want some Doctor Who lore:
The Tardis is an INCREDIBLE spaceship, way way beyond the Enterprise (or whatever)
The Tardis, at its core contain a "time vortex", it's basically under the console to control the Tardis.
The Tardis itself is mostly infinite and is a living creature. So there is many others control room and it can change.
The Tardis has a whole giant star falling on itself to power it and many others wonders (and whatever a writer want, I would say).

In the show it means if the producers want to change the scene and props, they just do that :)
But the "tube" was always more or less preserved and some basic ideas what a Tardis control room is :  round, with a circular console in the middle, and a tube more or less moving up and down.  Everything else was changed often.

Doctor Who may be called a "science-fiction" show, but it's more about the idea of space exploration, adventures, wonders and horrors, new species, others cultures and crazy inventions and above all of that : The Doctor itself. Not the kind of "hard sf" which cares about technological sound details or consistency.

You should watch it, it's a whole new kind of fun and sights to behold.

ho yeah also... how I could say it ? hm...   The world seems way bigger when you're outside of the Tardis when in fact it is not :)

The TARDIS stands for Time and Relative Dimensions in Space. it's not simply a Time Machine and it is not simply a ship. It warps both time and reality around it, essentially staying still and bringing everything else to it. "Making Time move forward to you" The true shape of the TARDIS is unknown because it can look like whatever it wants and itis stated to be so heavy that if The Doctor didn't make it lighter then it could crush Earth with its overwhelming weight. The TARDIS can think like he said and has felt jeleousy towards some of Doctors companions to the point it refused to work properly. The only time it got to speak is when it had its computer transferred into a woman body (it didn't last long) but TARDIS might also be an omniscient machine because it has on multiple occasions brought Doctor to a specific time period with the sole purpose of having Doctor fix the problem. It has actually happened so many time The Doctor has actually acknowledged that if TARDIS is doing something without him it must be important.
