The Golem of Prague by GarthHaslam The Golem of Prague by GarthHaslam
Here's an illustration of the famous Golem of Prague, that, unfortunately, won't be in my upcoming Monsters Here and There book (it was the wrong size for the space in the book). Golems are animated figures created by Jewish rabbis as servants; in this case, the golem was created to protect the residents of Prague, but eventually it went out of control. That's not a tattoo on it's forehead; part of how golems are given life is a magic inscription placed on their foreheads.
