As usual your artwork is in a league of it's own, these animated images are an absolute joy to sit and take in. This one isn't, I think, your best work to date but it's a different direction to your previous Asian inspired pieces and a worthy experiment.

First of all the figure. It very much depends on what you were attempting to create because the character (for me) is just a little bit too muscular to be sexy. The costume design is good, but perhaps a little less original than some of your previous works - though it does create a very comic book style to it. The face feels like it's a little oddly proportioned, but that isn't likely to be a mistake - but rather a combination of the angle the viewer takes against the lighting and hair across her face. Going to black so quickly from left to right certainly creates a dramatic look to the piece, but a small amount of bounced or secondary light on the right side of her face may help to fill in the missing eye and balance the face up. (please don't take as me suggesting you can't paint faces, in all your previous works the faces are both exotic and have hidden beauty).

As for the background and other elements, the flares on the dagger are particularly stunning, the dagger itself is unique and provides an excellect focus for the piece. It took me a long time of looking to notice the glint in her eye between blinks and the gentle breathing motion of her chest. This combined with the gentle green background lighting effect and the flame really impresses me with the subtle nature of what could easily have been overly animated and distracting. The only effect that could perhaps have done with further work is the small globes of white light that spark from the dagger's tip, they are just a little too simple and obvious.

I greatly look forwards to your next piece, these animated images are so inspiring and fantastic that at some point I hope to produce a sci-fi inspired piece of my own - which I intend to credit you for the inspiration.

If your animation doesn't become a series of full length episodes then there is no justice in the world! I'm utterly blown away!

If they ever make a cinema Warhammer 40K film I really hope you're one of the model makers who are working to produce it. The level of detail is stunning and seems to represent twice as much detail as I've ever seen in the best painted models.

Hey fediaFedia - you've created an amazing skin and I was hoping to use the google calendar feature from it with other skins but unfortunately it doesn't seem to want to work. The private XML link seems to function - as it brings up a live feed of events correctly - but when I plug it into Omnio all it seems to want to do is display my GFs birthday on four seperate dates (Fri, Sat, Sun, Tue 13th of December). I realise that rainmeter and google calendar have a long history of not being happy with each other but even after a fresh rainmeter 2.5 install it doesn't seem to want to work. Do you know how to fix this or is it just a case of waiting for rainmeter and google calendar to reach some sort of agreement?

My name is Ingram Blakelock and I'm a music video and promotional video producer from the UK. I'm very much at the beginning of my career but I have at least got a few music videos to my name. So that you understand that I'm serious I've provided links to those videos at the bottom of this thread.

I'm currently working on a music video animated project and would like to bring in an artist to assist with the production of characters, backdrops and to generally assist with the artwork for the project. Unfortunately I'm only able to offer the pathetic sum of £150 for this piece of work but the actual amount of work undertaken will be negotiated beforehand.

If this works out as a good relationship then I'll be looking to create a more permanent partnership as I am currently overworked producing both the animation and graphics for projects. I get a lot of requests for music videos and promotional videos but at the moment I'm having to turn work away as I can't keep up.

So, here is what I'm looking for:

* Someone who is starting out as an artist and wanting an opportunity to work on interesting paid projects.

* Someone with a fast internet connection who is happy to work on shared files through Dropbox or Google Drive.

* Must have a portfolio of examples of their style of art.

Anyone interested can post below or contact me at info@ingramblakelock.co.uk - whilst I recognize that the amount of actual paid work I'm offering in this post is very small I am able to command a higher fee with every project I work on and a really active partner could end up receiving a large percentage of that amount if their involvement was critical.

---------------------------

Here are the links to the music videos I have previously worked on.

A Forest of Stars - Gatherer of the Pure
My most popular music video by far - well recognized and respected as an interesting and high quality music video for the rising star band A Forest of Stars.

My Dying Bride - The Poorest Waltz
Top level doom metal band from the UK - although the video itself was poorly received the band were happy with the end result and there is a possibility of working with them on a future project.

Promotional video for Mike Cobley - Sci-fi author of the Humanity's Fire series of books. He greatly enjoyed the process of working with me and is hopefully interested in working on a more ambitious video for his next big book release.

A Forest of Stars - Raven's Eye View
My first ever music video - long and slow but done without a budget in a single day of filming.
