A new company is acquiring the DVD licenses for Beuna Vista TV shows. Shout! Factory www.shoutfactory.com which already has the licenses for classic Transformers, M.A.S.K., Jem, MST3K and other shows we remember from our youths.. and from looking at their catalog, the youths of deviants  in their 50s and 60s as well, may be our best bet to get the rest of Gargoyles released on DVD.

Send them an email at tchen@shoutfactory.com to add your voice to others already calling for a new DVD release of our beloved show. Heck, send them several emails, if you have several accounts. Bother your spouses, S.O.'s, sisters, brothers, and parents, even random strangers to email them. This is our chance to make it happen!

hate to burst the bubble but this was posted by one of their Producers on their forums :

"We are NOT in talks to acquire Gargoyles. Furthermore, I don't understand how someone "immediately thinking" of a series leads to widespread speculation and a flood of emails to our publicity department, who--by the way--has NO say in what we do and don't acquire.

Again. We are NOT in talks to acquire Gargoyles at this time. Please spread that word."

He seems a bit um.. offended and defensive about all this? Or is that just me?

Aw dang! I got the news off @Demona_Gorlois on Twitter, as well as @GargoylesNews

It's too bad it wasn't a true thing. :(

Still, if they got that many responses from a mere rumor in less than a day, it might be a clue to START talks to acquire Gargoyles and make buckets of money. considering that after the rights are bought, the materials to make a single DVD cost less than a dime. The entire series would probably fit on 4 or 5 discs, less if double-sided, and sell for at least 60 bucks. There's definitely a market, if Disney doesn't ask the equivalent of the national debt for the rights.
