It was supposed to be a little 'tongue and cheek' because the Issue was a SUPER SIZE First issue (54 pages). But I got comments like "You are objectifying women!" and "Your just pandering to the lowest blah blah" and a straight up "You want an OPINION!!! THIS COVER *^#&ing SUCKS!!! I would NEVER buy a book with a cover like this!!!!" and a "People like you are the reason why women don't by comic books!"
However, interesting point to note... I own a comic shop and I (of course) have my book on the shelf. I have women walk up and buy it fairly often and when I ask why they chose it (without reveling its my book until after the purchase) they all respond with similar statements like "Its funny" or "I wish I had boobs like her!"

Hola, i love/like/fascinates/as characters/people of women of white skin/brunette/dark, dark medium (and other types of skin shades) and clear your legs, hip, your physique, your hair, your eyes, your lips, your clothes, your breasts, postures Very sexy/daring and clear to know who it really is, plus I like the characters/people gay/lesbian, bisexual, transgender to know/as and make friends or something else.
Well I like all its content, because you have a good eye/gift/skill in creating/performing in the characters of women, because you give something different/special and therefore is an excellent job.
Which of course is a bullshit statement & always has been. Its kind of like me demanding "this romance novel cover is exactly why i will never ever read any novel ever."
Its just such a bullshit hyperbolic statement.
But covers don't tell the whole story, and Garanmad had put together a very interesting and rather unique (if a bit implausible) sci-fi setting with real characters... I mean, Jessie's chest is only the second largest thing about her next to her personality. I was impressed and even a bit inspired by it.
The lesson to be learned is that there is a plethora of things to learn and discover when you get past the knee-jerk reaction and take time to notice.
Really? they wouldn't print this as a cover? you actually got that 2nd to last comment?? o_0 not to complain, but i think he's lying.
I wouldn't buy a comic book with that on the cover, but only because i'm unemployed, without a 6-digit-plus safety net.
