Kill of The Night

    Sleeping in doesn’t always go according to plan when an unexpected visitor drops by to have breakfast. 

This was a really fun writing exercise and challenge presented by mightytinygiant over on twitter. The goal of the challenge is to write one or more stories of at least 500 words each within the month of September. The story was to be written quickly. Given minimal edits. Then shared with the world within 24 hours. 

    This story is roughly 9 pages, 3,600 words long. It took me somewhere between 3 or 4 hours to write, and only received a quick skim as an edit pass.

    It’s been so long since I’ve just allowed myself to get lost in the flow of writing and become fully immersed in the story at hand.
