This kinda reminds me to one scene in the game Kingdom Come Deliverance. There was a similar situation where you were in the middle of some girls experimenting with "devils paste" to get high during midnight ^^ And of course our poor poor protagonist got entangled into this and had to be their "master"... xD
Well I played it through and I had some good moments. But in most cases it was pretty frustrating due to certain things one can either like or hate ^^. I was mostly annoyed by the save system (you can only save when you sleep in a tavern or when you have special items in your inventory) the fighting system which is pretty different from normal RPGs and gamecrashing bugs. If you are tolerant against those things I would say, give it a try because the story is great and the visuals are stunning. Also you can learn a few things about swordfighting which I think was a unique experience ^^. But its a tough game and yea the pace is slow. You will learn that you cant just jump into a fight without any experience or equipment. Therefore swordtraining and tutorials at the beginning take a while before you will be able to just wander around xD
Thanks for the great insights and BG! That save system does sound frustrating! It sounds very lore friendly. The slow pace may be a deal breaker for me But who knows, I may get tempted to try it
Sure thing. Got it a few days ago and played a little. Even basic fights are tough! I got a lot to practice lol. Had to go back home and have Mother bandage me up. I was relieved this CPU heavy game worked on my rig which is quite outdated.
Haha yea. I mananged to die within the first chapter of the game. And even right after that it took me a while to realise... Oh I have a badass sword but I suck at using it. Better hide or run when I see an enemy xD
