So, this year I started writing a character driven fantasy adventure comic book set aboard a worlds traveling train. It's been very fun and I'm pleased with my nearly-final drafts for issues #1-7. Now if those beta readers would just get back to me. ;) I've been a tabletop gamer since the '90s, and GMing for just as long. I've discovered that writing fantasy adventure is like running a game, only you're the players as well.

Oh me oh my! Looks like the SDCC schedule has been updated with colorist portfolio review events. I don't remember ever seeing that on the schedule for Con ever. Sure, they're always doing artist reviews. But colorists? And Oni's one of them? And I've got how long to update and tweak my portfolio? And only two days off before Con? Right, woman, time to focus! Which will be hard given the big pile I just picked up from ComicKaze; Dial H #3, Dorothy of Oz: Prequel #3 (some interesting coloring in that one), and Batwoman #s 6 to 10. Oh, and Marcelina and the Scream Queens #1 comes out this coming Wednesday? (Why didn't I put that on my pull list
