Song link: GAWNE x Crypt x CHVSE - RISE (Official Video)

This wallpaper is inspired from the song “RISE” by rappers Luke Gawne, CHVSE & Crypt. It marks my first music inspired pony wallpaper for a song that isn’t actually about ponies. The reason is because this track has a theme of competitive spirit that feels very relevant to Rainbow Dash, so I thought it would be fun to ponify. The lyrics talk about “rising” to the top of the rap game, “touching the sky”, “being up so high”, etc.  Kinda feels like one of those motivating songs that Rainbow Dash would have in her playlist while she’s flying, so that’s the correlation I had in mind. It’s full of passionate and aggressive fast rhyming, which really gets me hyped and energized to go do something great!

With that being said, let’s talk about the design. The fractal centerpiece was rendered with Mandelbulber, which I haven’t utilized in quite a while. For the lyrics I picked the same Sonic-esque font as my “DASH DASH RAINBOW” wallpaper, because it looks cool. I also snapped a few new cloud photos outside and layered them into the image for more realism. Anyway, hopefully you enjoy this rap inspired ponypaper!
