Saying Goodbye With A Members Feature
First, a quick update.
For those of you who did not know, in August 2011, our original founder, corvus-sky (https://www.deviantart.com/corvus-sky), left a few of us in charge of Gallery42 (https://www.deviantart.com/gallery42) while she spent time trying to get her personal life back on track. As co-founders began to disappear, three of us stayed true, keeping the group going for corvus-sky (https://www.deviantart.com/corvus-sky). She has never been able to return. She had been in contact with me by email off and on for a while, still struggling, hoping her life would change and she would once again be a regular at dA, but it wasn't happening. Then in July of 2012, she asked me to take the group; but, she left without giving me Founder co
Premades, Giving Credit, Drawing From A Resource
Sorry that I haven't written that I was back from my little break, but I am.
:)
I want to write a little about Premade stock, giving credit, and using photographs as resources.
1. First, about Premade Backgrounds and giving credit.
There have been a lot of talk around dA lately about premades for backgrounds or for stock. and it comes down to this: When you use any premade, rather it be a premade background or a premade stock, you MUST give credit to each stock provider that was used to create that premade. If the deviant did not include credit for their stock, DO NOT USE. Simple as that.
Here's a good example with a comment about her st

Taking Some Time Off
Since it's the first of July, I'll be taking a little break from the group. I will still be around, and so will :devmaxine4you:, and Elle-Arden (https://www.deviantart.com/elle-arden), but you may find that your deviations are taking a little bit longer to be accepted. Please understand and continue submitting.
Another thing, I'm trying to get enough points to use as prizes for upcoming contests and for turning this into a Super Group. So if you have some points that you can donate or extra money that can be turned into points to donate, I would greatly appreciate it. It will for a towards a worthy cause.
You can use my the donation widget at my Home page ( :devthefan
