Hey everyone, Galaxy-Afro here. Normally I don't do this, but it has to be done. As I'm sitting here waiting for a check to kick in from a temp job I did at Denver Pride, and as I wait for my new job's background check to finish. (VERY annoying!), I realize that I'm roughly $33-38 short for my internet bill due this weekend.
In order to make sure that my internet doesn't get cut off (I need it for school, work, etc.), I'm opening up DIRT CHEAP commissions. Yup.
For $5, I will write up a short story for YOU. In order to get these, you MUST have a PayPal account, and if so, please send it AFTER we talk and I decide that I can confidentaly wri
Location ~ Norramby Cliffs
The defenders of the Rainbow Railway have gathered together for the first time, waiting for orders out of Holly, a U.S. Army soldier, and one of the defenders. She is Rosie and Cinder's sister. Due to her experience in Army Combat, she has been assigned to lead the defenders on the outskirts of Norramby.
The sun is rising, but each and every defender is prepared with their weapons, giving a stare down to a currently unknown opponent. Holly is pointing out her gold dust pistol.
Holly: When I give out the orders, you take down every one of them! No mercy! Like we trained!
The other defenders continue their stare d
It was an overcast, and slightly cold day. I was on my way to something, that something being a date. Who was the date? It was someone that I had matched with on Tinder. Although we had been communicating frequently during the last few weeks, it was the first time that I was going to meet the date in person.
I wasn’t getting paid until that Friday, so I ran to a Walmart and sold my old broken phone in a machine, as well as using a Coinstar machine to turn my random change into dollar bills.
This made me late, with me frequently texting the date, “Hey, I’m gonna be running a bit late. My errands took a bit longer than expec
Even on Sunday nights, a bus going around on Colfax can be an interesting one indeed.
Union Station is where the #15 bus that runs all the way down Colfax is anchored. The time reads 10:42, and the bus had arrived, naturally leads to the passengers attempting to board the bus.
The driver is sitting on the bus but refuses to open the door. The passengers grill him on it. He points at the clock to emphasize that he’s not leaving yet. The passengers ignore this. The driver loses patience and opens the doors of the bus to inform the passengers what time he is leaving.
Two much older passengers in the terminal grow frustrated, and crack a
My Twitter, my Devientart, and other social media that I use has been flooded with people writing their thoughts on Notre Dame. I've ignored it, mainly because there are several factors that I've considered, and several others that I've gained from those who are of other religions.
Although I understand the sadness from some people, the burning of Notre Dame doesn't exactly affect me in any way. Being African-American, I recently found out that SEVERAL historical Black Churches in the South were being burned down.
My thing is that I haven't seen ANYONE here talk about the atrocities that those burning were. Keep in mind that I myself am not
I'm finished being silent, and I don't care if everyone ignores what I have to say because this NEEDS to be said!
Before we start, understand that I am NOT being Anti-Semitic, in fact I will ONLY call out people that are doing wrong, no matter WHAT THEIR group is!
What Israel is doing Palestine is GENOCIDE, and a MODERN-DAY APARTHEID!
What was happening in the yesteryear's of South Africa, India, Australia, and towards the many, many Indigenous tribes of the world in the Americas, and beyond, is LITERALLY happening right now in Palestine!
I've said it before, people won't listen, but I'm finished being silent, and I don't care if everyone
As many have known, Sudrian Chronicles has been gaining popularity slowly but surely. With a mature and dark take on the series, rebooting and reviving EVERY single character from 1945-Present, and even going through all of the trouble to incorporate Shining Time Station, TUGS, and Theodore Tugboat into the mix, there's been nothing quite like it!
But sometimes, there are some cut concepts that I've wanted to revive, and one of them is the Magic Railroad.
Personally, I will NEVER bring the Magic Railroad into focus in the Sudrian Chronicles. It doesn't fit, and I've gone through ENOUGH trouble to bring the series back to its roots while bri

A long time ago, there was a small island called Sodor, located in the Irish sea. It was a small island, but it was also very populated with many, many people. Farmers, fishermen, and sailors made up many of the jobs in the cities, towns, and villages that helped the economy for the Island. Of course, due to its rugged scenery, there was small wonder how many of the communities became isolated. Heavy rain storms resulted in muddy pathways, which in turn resulted in communities not being able to leave during these hard times. Eventually, the people of Sodor became fed up, and lobbied the government to build a railway to connect them around Sod
