Humans of Sodor #8 ~ Mr. Ringo GuardThe eldest of the Guard Family, a family of butlers and protectors for the Norramby family for many generations. Although he seems a bit gruff at first, Ringo is actually a very friendly man, and has often been seen as a "big brother" figure to children of Sodor. He's a talented storyteller, and often tells the engines stories he knows involving Sudrian legends and mythology.It's said that he bears a striking resemblance to a certain member of the Beatles, but this is very much denied by him AND Sir Robert Norramby! Ironically he also has been known to be talented with a pair of drumsticks, furthering the mysterious coincidence!Much like many of his family, Ringo is quite fond of a good fish and chip, and has often been spotted around Tidmouth sampling another bit of fare from a certain woman who's caught his eye! No evidence has shown up to prove this currently!

Although he's bad tempered, and has been known to hatch schemes to put the Star Fleet out of business, all is not as it seems. Zero was previously a decent man, trying to make a living with his fleet, but the incident involving the San Marcos in 1917 ended up putting almost everything within the New York Harbor at a disadvantage due to a mistake involving the Navy. With no other business options, Zero turned to the various crime families of New York City to aid him in his deeds.Zero's actions were unnoticed for the most part, and despite the scheming actions of him and his fleet, there were several times that the two fleets would work together. Despite his connections, he had a falling out with an Australian tramp steamer named Johnny Cuba. Born in 1880, her life was considered by many to be quite unremarkable despite being part of a prominent family. This all changed when she married a dashing young man known as Mr. Topham Hatt in 1910!In 1911, she gave birth to their first child, being Barbra Jane, and Charles Topham three years later. She kept herself specifically towards raising the children, and helping her busy husband in any way possible. She ended up taking over for her husband's position at A.W. Dry and Co. in 1912 when Topham left to become a Colonel in the Great War.When the North Western Railway was formed in 1923, Jane took on a secondary role in the railway's operations, often filling in for Topham when he was busy or away, and even becoming the "mother" towards the engines, much like her husband's "father" role to the engines.She lived in Wellsworth for many years alongside Topham, until his death in 1956. Humans of Sodor #5 ~ Captain Patrick StarA veteran sailor who was the owner of the Star Fleet during the 1920's, having taken over from his father after his retirement. He deeply cared for his fleet during his time with them, and was always known for being strict with them if things didn't go shipshape with them.Star had previously served in the United States Navy during the Great War, where he had run into Sir Topham Hatt I, who served as a colonel under the United Kingdom during this time. Both would become life-long friends for many years to come. While serving, Captain Star was on the U.S.S. San Marcos in 1917 when it was mistakenly allowed clearance to pass through a firing zone. The damage became apparent as Captain Star did his beset efforts to save his fellow sailors. This led to a horrible leg injury, but in the end saved at least 100 sailors form their deaths. Other weren't so lucky, and as a result over 600 souls were lost at sea that day.Star was honorably discharged from the Navy due to his leg, and ended up ta

Arriving on Sodor after the death of his father, Kit harbored a lot of resentment towards the world, believing that it was the world that took his father away from him.Every attempt at trying to talk to Kit would result in no answers, and it was only after a series of events involving trouble, and a false accusation that ended up with a heart-to-heart talk from Billy about how proud he was of him, and how much he loved his nephew. During the heart-to-heart, it was revealed that Kit was in love with another boy.Proudly accepting him as a person, Kit felt his confidence shoot up, and with the approval of the Hatt family, trained to be an engineer on the North Western Railway. Humans of Sodor #3 ~ Furgus DuncanBorn in 1936, Mr. Fergus Duncan lived a rather quiet existence. In 1965, an agreement was reached by the managements of the various Sudrian Railway companies. The agreement was to build a new railway over the remains of the defunct Mid Sodor Railway to gain access to the ballast. Wanting a purpose in life, Duncan applied to the position of Foreman.After overseeing its construction, which was rapid and successful, Duncan was offered the position of General Manager of the newly built railway in 1967. Duncan took up the offer, and during that time had to deal with the engines he had become the boss of. Notably, Mike!Two years later, Duncan joined both the Thin Clergyman, and the Fat Clergyman on a journey to find the whereabouts of Duke the Lost Engine. After the accidental discovery, Duke was reunited with the Norramby family.Duncan retired in 2007, nearing 70 years old. He is still around as of 2018, and is often giving advice to the much younger manager, whose identity has yet
