Desperation by Galaxy-Afro Desperation by Galaxy-Afro
"Desperate to not have to be told what to do or listen to any advice, Billy set out with a small express passenger train. Although it was winter, there was no snow on the ground. However, that night's temperatures made the rails quite icy making it dangerous to go fast. He was warned this by his fellow Wellsworth and Suddery engines, but of course Billy didn't listen. Needless to say, it's small wonder what happened next..." said Edward.

This is another part of the canon of mine. Billy was killed in the winter of 1912 while taking a small express passenger train. His reckless speed, and the icy rails made him crash, killing him, his crew, the guard, and a total of 60 passengers, which comprised the entire train. Billy wasn't able to be salvaged, as the impact killed him instantly.

In the spring of 1913, Charlie was purchased for the Wellsworth and Suddery Railway as a replacement for Billy, and became the railway's new #4 engine. Charlie happened to be Billy's younger brother, and the engines made sure that Charlie knew to take safety seriously after the death of his brother. ~ Afro
