Hi, I’m Amy, and I've been on dA for a good number of years. I first started becoming really active on this site right after graduating from high school, as I had originally planned to begin creating a manga series right then after having practiced drawing for 5 years straight, but, uh...I still didn't have any concrete ideas for an actual story to tell; only knowing I wanted it to be cute and sci fi-themed. So instead, I started drawing pictures of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers games with my own characters since it had the best story I had ever seen up to that point and submitted them to as many groups as possible. Soon enough, I discovered one called PMD-E, and...well, let's just say I spent the next 3 years stuck making comics for that group. And when that group was disbanded, I continued on for 1 more year in Pokemon-of-Avalon. It wasn't until I was 23 that I *finally* came up with the most brilliant idea for a story that I had a burning desire to tell, and from it, Intergalactic Fusion was made!
Unfortunately, since I started working a full time job in 2017, I didn't have nearly as much time as I used to in terms of being able to make significant progress on my comic except on weekends. Intergalactic Fusion was supposed to be 6 books, but I'd only managed to make it halfway through Book 3 before my motivation ran out. Sadly, I had to cancel the project, but fear not! I've started working on a single book called Children of Astra, and I hope that this quality of this story will finally allow me to get published!
That being said, I don't know how much I'll post on this site anymore, so even if you follow me, you won't see a whole lot. Thank you very much in advance if you choose to do so, anyway!
Commissions are currently closed! Totally swamped with work. At least I'm making enough money at the moment!
Oh, and one more thing... 日本語を分かりますよ。日本語もタイプすれば、自由に話しましょう!(I can understand Japanese, so if you can type it too, feel free to do so with me!)
Still haven't posted them to my website yet! Probably will only get around to it once I completely finish all 345. I'll let you know when I do!
Oh, you recognized his donuts! I figured I'd give his tutorials a try; they really do help you learn a lot about the program.
It is indeed a learning process!
I'm trying to work on being more honest and upfront with these sorts of updates. As much as I would love to report nothing but good news, I feel as though my audience and aspiring writers and creators would benefit more from seeing just how difficult the process can be.
Me? I like to compare this to rolling on a gacha game with only 80 or so pulls, a 1% 5* success rate, and a 0.5% (or less) chance of actually rolling the character you want. And this gacha has no pity system whatsoever, hahaha.
Thanks for cheering me on!
Thank you so much!
(...Although now I'm starting to wonder if it's my computer that's part of the problem, since I just found out that I can play games like Genshin Impact on my iPad with almost no issues. Guess that's a sign I should upgrade my hard drive before trying more 3D modelling, hahaha.)
