Hi there! I'm doing good so far in my butchery course. Only started a few weeks ago, but I'm keeping the pace up much more easily compared to kitchen classes.

A new drawing is coming up... whenever. I try to work on it every day after I come back from school.

Hint: it's a revisit of a character that Samthelily created. ;)

Butchery class? :noes: Wow, you're pretty brave for taking such class... :fear: I couldn't bear having to deal with... actual visible animal parts and stuff like that. ^^;

Some body parts are pretty disgusting to stare at indeed, but I've grown to get used to look at fleshy things and the squishy sounds they make. Perhaps Horror/Gory movies helped me with that. This is basically the 'only' way I can get a fair chance at getting a job and thankfully, I love being in that course. I'd rather enjoy what I'm doing then enduring a course that bores or irritates me to death y'know.

In that case I hope you don't have to deal with animal heads too often. ^^;
My mom told me back when she was a young girl, people used everything in an animal as food. Their ears, brain, hooves, etc. XP Whenever I think of it, I'm getting sick sometimes, but well, back in her young years the people didn't have much money or luxury to go around with. ^^;

Thankfully, the heads don't come with the rest of the body parts. The animals have to be inspected from the farms straight to the slaughterhouses before they can be bought in separate pieces over here.
I understand what you mean. Beef, calf and pork quarters don't come cheap either. You can get a lot of meat from them, but you'd have to make all the money back by chopping all the pieces correctly and nicely to be able to sell them in packages. There's just so many varieties of meat, which I never thought it would. .3.

Nice to hear that, man! Heh. I've lost almost all motivation to draw since I started my programming classes. Good luck with that. :P

Can't be that bad, right? You'll get your mojo back someday... can't draw all the time y'know (I'm sure you got plenty of other things to do). Heck, I'm pretty much coming up with a drawing every month at this point. Not that I'm lazy or anything, but mainly because I want quality over quantity.

School can be a hassle sometimes. It sucks now, because I have to do this one exam that is exactly the same as last year for the third frickin' time, even though I passed it the second time (but the school minister as to certify that we understand the principles of hygiene and stuff). So here I am having to study for the same exam... again. :/ Thankfully, once it's done, I don't have to deal with this crap ever again. I want to cut meat already! lol
