Played some Star Wars Battlefront 2 at one of my friend's house a few hours ago. Twas fun!
I honestly don't get why people got SO upset about the loot box system. I get that it's a form of gambling, but at least it doesn't force you to pay them (just like in Overwatch and any of the recent modern FPS shooters like Bo1 and the recent CoDs).
Anyway, the game was really fun from what I've played. We played some co-op modes together and we were having a blast shooting enemies with guns and slashing with the good ol' lightsabers. There's a ton of different modes, including on-foot battles, jet fights, arcade modes, etc.
Isn't it the point to have fun while playing video games?? I know they've evolved a lot over the years, but I don't get why people exaggerate on things that, in reality, doesn't even matter that much. Almost like it was a "nitpick" or something. The only downside I could find was that the loading screens took forever to boot us into games... but that's about it, I was having a lot of fun otherwise.
Alright, I'm done ranting for now.
