CFC #1 - Bad Mr. Frosty by gagaman92 CFC #1 - Bad Mr. Frosty by gagaman92
A new year begins and I've decided to give myself a big "challenge"... drawing EVERY single ClayFighter characters!

The poster-boy himself, Bad Mr. Frosty makes his first appearance in the very first ClayFighter game and has since been the icon of the small-time series, recognized by many (if not a few).

He's always been my favourite because of his appropriate snow-filled movesets and the fact that he's a unique take on the jolly snowmen turned around to make him grouchy, intimidating and somewhat evil looking (even though he's on the good side according to the ClayFighter lore).

More to come soon!

Sweet picture. Question: Is it okay with you if I borrow this image for a special request, please? With you permission and promise to give you credit after the picture is done, okay?

The overall mediocre originality of Clafighter's cast is a testament to how hard creating memorable fighters can be.

...But Bad Mr. Frosty is one that succeeds. =)

Thanks man!
To tell you the truth, I've always wanted to do this sort of challenge since the time I started analyzing the series closer in terms of character description, plot and overall minimalist details found in the games.
Now I feel like I have the skills and motivation to do so. Doing challenges can really motivate you're dedicated all the way through the end. Let's not forget to have fun in the process (which I certainly do atm! Big Grin )

That's so cool you take the challenge to draw all the clayfighters. :D
Does it mean you do all of them? From the first one to the third one for N64? X3

Yes, indeed! I'm already having a lot of fun drawing again. ^w^
All of the games, from the first to Sculptor's Cut... AND also going to draw the unreleased characters such as Lucy and Hobo Cop.

They're pretty radical looking! ^^
It's a shame they never made it into the final cut of their respective games. Their images still lives on at least. :P

The hype is real. I can't wait to see more.

At least there's something to fill the void that is word on the game that's supposed to come out this year. Or, lack thereof. While Interplay have literally heard no word themselves, I can only hope that DDG comes around soon.

Glad you're excited! ^^
I'm actually drawing Blob right now. :3

Yeah, no word from Interplay since like... last year or something. Just hoping they didn't forget to work on the remaster of ClayFighter, otherwise that would be a real bummer.

(What does DDG stand for btw?)

Really can't wait, man.

Yeah, there's been nothing since the trailer, but even then that was just a reaffirmation of what they already announced some days prior. I guess it was a sort of "We swear to god, we're serious about it this time" tactic, despite the humorous presentation of the trailer itself.

As for DDG, it stands for Drip Drop Games, who're supposed to be the developers of the Remaster (as we all know). One theory of mine about them not giving news to Interplay for CF is that they were also hard at work with another game, Trigger Treat, and that has been delayed until Halloween this year, since they didn't have enough time to finish it for the correct holiday season of 2015.

They have a lot of extra time to polish that up now, so I can only hope it gives them more room for CF, too.

Such a quirky trailer wasn't it? =P
Hahaha that pumpkin-head character TOTALLY looks like Ickybod Clay! Don't you think? :XD:
Whatever they're doing, I'll always be excited to know that a NEW ClayFighter is in the making. :)

You're not the only one who sees the resemblance! I just hope however that it's just a coincidence. Would kinda hate it if Icky were to look anything like that.

Same, actually.
