It's been a while since I do a colour piece, so today I was inspired to do one, and might as well insert useful message. I spend almost an hour searching meaningful quote to fit the picture, but in the end, this is perhaps the most simple yet inspiring quote from the Quran regarding the rewards of helping other (as a doctor, or any other profession).
Feel free to share this as you see fit! Spread the message!
#The inner clothes are green scrubs in case you don't know, its a doctor's uniform commonly used in emergency department or operation theater.
The Quran contains at least 109 verses that speak of war with nonbelievers, usually on the basis of their status as non-Muslims. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called 'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.
Oh, but look at the drawing I did of the happy little muslim doctor lady.
Muslim scholars teach that Muslims should generally be truthful to each other, unless the purpose of lying is to "smooth over differences" or "gain the upper-hand over an enemy."
There are several forms of lying to non-believers that are permitted under certain circumstances, the best known being taqiyya (the Shia name). These circumstances are typically those that advance the cause of Islam - in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them.
