Character design da me realizzato nel 2015 per la protagonista di amazzoni, Dynah Turncliff, esploratrice e corrispondente per la Royal Society of London. La sua volontà di emanciparsi dal modello di donna del suo tempo, agli albori del 900, la porta ad imbarcarsi in un'avventura ben più grande di lei, col desiderio segreto di completare l'opera del defunto padre: la conferma dell'esistenza del popolo delle Amazzoni e del loro metallo vivente. La sua impresa riesce ma la cattura e la cattività tra le mitiche guerriere la segnerà per sempre. O magari non era altro che il suo destino esser presente in quel determinato momento e diventare la scintilla del cambiamento nella società delle Amazzoni. Vechernjaja, la Veterna e precedente regina delle amazzoni (qui il suo character design) Amazzoni Character Designs: Vechernjaja (Veterana) by GaetanoMatruglio nota subito qualcosa in lei e la prende sotto la sua protezione, accompagnandola in un cammino che porterà alla luce la guerriera da tempo sopita in lei, prima bloccata dalle catene della società ma ora libera di ruggire.

Sceneggiatura della storia principale di Alessandro Cremonesi, realizzazione grafica di quest'ultima ad opera mia e di Marianna Pescosta, insieme alla quale abbiamo realizzato i character design dei personaggi principali. Realizzata dai membri già citati per la storia principale e da una moltitudine di disegnatori e sceneggiatori per i frammenti di storia legati a differenti personaggi ed addirittura Carmine di Giandomenico per la copertina! "Amazzoni" è una rielaborazione del mito del fantomatico popolo tramite l'utilizzo di elementi originali, come il metallo vivente presente nel corpo delle guerriere, che permette loro di manifestare un'armatura ed armi fuse con la pelle ed i muscoli. Character design made in 2015 for the main character of Amazzoni, Dynah Turncliff, explorer and news correspondent for the Royal Society of London. Her drive in emancipating herself from the model of woman who was the norm during her time, just before the 1900, make her embark in a journey much bigger than herself, housing in her heart the secret desire of completing the life work of her father: getting proof of the existence of the legendary Amazons and of their living metal. She is succesful but her capture and captivity in the warriors city will mark her forever. Or maybe it was her destiny to be there at that precise moment to become the spark of the big change in the society of the Amazons. Vechernjaja, the veteran and previous Queen of the Amazons (you can see her character design here Amazzoni Character Designs: Vechernjaja (Veterana) by GaetanoMatruglio ), is instanbtly able to see something different in her and get her under her wing, leading her ina journey that will awake the warrior sleeping inside Dynah, shackled by the society but now finally able to howl with all her might.

Alessandro Cremonesi as the main story writer and graphic realization of it by me and Marianna Pescosta, not to mention the faction we also provided the character design for the main characters. The book is realized by the already mentioned members and also by a moltitude of writers and artists for the various story fragments tied to different characters and it even have a front cover made by Carmine di Giandomenico! "Amazzoni" is a reimagining of the myth of such an elusive population using original elements , like the living metal that dwells inside their bodies and that allow them to use it as an armor and weapons that are fused to their skin and muscles.
