Amazing - excellent job capturing the features and such detail!

Thank you very much! :)
You've captured his pensive expression so well. The lighting around his hair and the three-dimensional effect of the locks is exquisite. Fantastic shading of the oh-so-expressive furrows on his face; even his subtle chin scar is visible. This is one of the best Rumplestiltskin portraits I've seen. Perhaps you might send the image to Robert Carlyle for his birthday on April 14? He seems to appreciate art based on his characters. Congratulations on achieving an insightful representation of that marvelous face.

Thank you so much for your very nice feedback! I truly appreciate it  :aww: :)

Also thank you for the idea ;) i didn't know, he has birthday on April 14, I woud be so happy, if he could see this drawing.. Did you mean to send it like a message through internet? Because i know only his Twitter account, i think he is only very rare online there..
Or really to send it (f.e. like a quality scanned picture) to him like a letter/package? Who knows the right address :| (Blank Stare)

I really love your artistic mark. How do you get nice highlights like that? Around Rumple's hair and throughout his skin...I'm really bad at blending with colored pencil.

Thank you for your feedback :) I don't know, i think i used overlapping of the colours and letting/leaving some places of paper more white, without colours..

Very cool!  He looks kinda creepy (in an intentional, villainous way).  Good job.

Did you really DRAW this, out of nowhere?!! I can't believe it!! O.o Maybe donkeys DO fly, after all (a Spanish saying... ;P)
GabrielGrob's avatar
Yes, i did, but not from nowhere, i had a reference photo, a screencap. It's not drawn from my mind :).. But i must say, i drew it (like all my works) just by watching the picture on notebook.. I didn't make any outline with tracing paper, grids or something other.. as many people do here on DA and then they don't write it in the description.

OMG. By "of nowhere" I did mean "not tracing it", or something. Still amazed. I love the way you managed to get his face SO right, as well as all the colour tones. Well, well done!!! Please keep on drawing, you are more than great!! =D <3 <3
